Huge well appointed rooms in a central location with convenient access to the subway system. Big pool but fairly basic gym.

I just came back from a 3 night stay at the Imperial Mansion. First the location is within a short walking distance to great shopping and tourist spots. I was upgraded for free to a 1-bedroom which was stunning. It is nicer than some of the high end Vegas resorts. And more tasteful. Reviews that say it's outdated are silly. Everything is very modern and very very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not everyone spoke English fluently, but they tried hard and when they hit their limit they got someone who was fluent in English. They were very accommodating and as it was my first time in Beijing I took them up on their pre-arrival email to send a driver for us. Right at the airport exit there was someone waiting with my name on a sign, took me straight to the driver outside and away we went in a BMW to the hotel. No hassle with cabs and unknowns being new to the city. We arranged for a ride through the hotel back to the airport as well. I couldn't ask for more and I would highly recommend and would certainly stay again at the Imperial Mansion. Thank you for the great service.

Amazing place! We stayed there for the three days while touring Beijing. The place is immaculate! We stayed at the apartments. We had actually booked a 1 bedroom they upgraded us to the 2 bedroom. The apartment is simply massive, all cookware present, and very finally detailed. The front desk people are simply amazing. While humble about their bilingual knowledge they speak great english. We mostly delt with Alvin, who is great at helping about out on our travels. I would highly recommend the location, which is right next to the forbidding city.
