Definitely the best place we have ever stayed at! Emilio y Ester's Palafito is a unique and beautiful, charming, clean and cozy place. We loved eating breakfast by the wood stove in the kitchen with the other guests, and the hosts (Nanny and Henry) were beyond accommodating and kind. Truly wonderful people. Easy to communicate with, and the place is well located — such a beautiful home on the water. Incredible and unforgettable! Absolutely recommend this timeless palafito for the best, authentic experience in magical Chiloé.

Nadia and Henry have been amazing hosts. I stayed for 4 day in their palafito, which used to belong to Henry's grandparents. They take great care of it with love and pride. Every guest is hosted in a small but cozy room with nice window on the beautiful surrounding. The bathrooms are shared and very clean. The common area is just lovely, with the typical wood-fire stove that they use to cook, heat the place and dry the laundry. Breakfast is abundant and prepared by them on the spot, so they make you start the day with a positive attitude.
I enjoyed sharing this house with this wonderful couple and their guests, it is loek being invited by friends and everybody felt at home. Great conversation and stories get told around the table, and laughters are always abundant. One cannot ask for more than this for a real chilote experience.
