Palafito Hostel Chiloé

Absolutely beautiful place, and the owner is so friendly. With a quick walk, you can be right in the heat of Castro. But where the hostel is located is quiet and serene.

Comfortable rooms, beautiful views from the Hostel and if you book the rooms with sea view you will not want to leave the room jajjajaja. Whenever I travel I look for availability here, because the reception is very warm and the common spaces invite you to rest, admire the weather, enjoy a book or just listen to music. I recommend it 1000%

It was a good stay, the accommodation very clean, tidy, with an amazing view!
The breakfast is very good, the people who attend are very friendly, very cordial, they cook very tasty!
They sell delicious pizzas, seafood, beers, wine. The only thing missing is that they had drinks, every time I went to buy there were not, but the rest all excellent, recommended 100%

This is a quirky place but how often do you get to stay in a Palafito on stilts with a top class restaurant above you. Don't expect luxury but don't expect hostel either, its a boutique hotel with bundles of charm. We really enjoyed it and from what we saw was a great choice for a few days on the island. We loved the views and great sitting outside just watching what was going on. They could have made more of the outside but suspect that was a compromise as a number of bedrooms overlook it. The rooms are like a ski chalet and rustic, bed was brilliants. YOU MUST go the restaurant on the top floor which separately owned. It is run by an experienced Santiago chef and his wife who has set this up using his experience of top hotels with his personal twist. They couldn't have been more friendly. The food was different and excellent as was the wine, if it was a restaurant in London we would definitely go back. I don't normally eat fish but their special Ceviche tempted me and I am glad I tried it. Enjoy.

3 months ago I booked all the pieces at Palafito Hostel Chiloe for the month of February 2022 and paid the total of the reservation. Yesterday the owner, without prior notice, without talking and without expression of cause canceled my reservation and returned my money. At this point only the most expensive alternatives in the area are available leaving me almost no options and a family excited about a dream vacation. I offered to renegotiate the price and the owner promised several times to call me but so far nothing. I can't find words to express my disappointment. I write this only for others to beware of the lies and shamelessness of this hostess who does a disservice to Chiloé's tourism industry.

Excellent attention friendly atmosphere a very good experience overlooking the bay of castro. Swans 🦢, seagulls and a sea breeze welcome you in a particular charm.

Beautiful place, the reception and attention a 7 the facilities without a doubt very cozy, an exquisite atmosphere, if it were not for a trio of children running and shouting 😅😅tho it is actually the responsibility of the parents, but I recommend it a thousand.
