This place is amazing! We stayed there during our time on Chiloe Island in Castro and it did not disappoint.
Julio, the primary contact when you due to arrive, was so helpful and communicative. This connection in spite of our travel woes made everything easier to contend with.
Located on the bay, it has a view of the water and landscape. It’s designed in the form of a palafito. So, you get the experience of living in one of those style houses.
There are a ton of birds to view as well as many local dogs—they are quite noisy some mornings. Lol.
It’s like a 20-30 minute walk from the center of town.
You get breakfast each morning. They make this own wine for purchase. They give you ice cream to eat.
It was very quaint and comfortable. I definitely stay there again in the future!

Wow! Stayed in the two bedroom unit! The building is amazing and alone I’d give it 5 stars. BUT the personal care we have received from our host has pushed this over the top to phenomenal! From making reservations for restaurants and transportation to making sure we visited all the right highlights of the area…. He has made the Bledford a must stay if you are in the area.

Wow — Bledford Chiloe totally surpassed our expectations. This Palafito has been lovingly restored and reimagined. The suites are very spacious, beautifully appointed and cozy boasting spectacular views. Located on the water and close to wonderful bars and restaurants, Bledford is in a great location to base yourself while exploring Chiloe. Breakfast is served in a picnic basket which only added to its charm. Our host, Julio, was super warm, friendly and informative only adding to our experience.
