Been returning to Fairways Hotel on the Mountain for over two years. Staff have always be very accommodating and pleasant. Will continue to book room in future despite no longer bringing a pet.

This place is an absolute joke. I’ll begin here. The only reason why I didn’t give this place one star is because the room was actually very nice. But that’s the extent of anything positive this hotel has to offer. To start, the Wi-Fi would not work. I’m not from Canada, so it was difficult for me to get any kind of reception. I was essentially told by many hotel staff members “oh well, sucks for you”. I asked many other guests in the hotel if they were able to get on, they were not. Secondly, the hotel does NOT offer any kind of cleaning service or assistance. We were told to place the stuff outside and they will replace what we need replaced. It took many hours to get anything replaced. And we had to make the bed ourselves. I’m not opposed to doing this, but I also expect to get what I pay for, and a motel 6 would have at least changed the beds lol. Thirdly, the sink in both bathrooms were clogged up and stopped up. The bedroom bathroom sink leaked all over the bathroom, causing the floor to be constantly wet. When I told the guy up front about the leak, he neglected to do anything and when we got back from dinner, he finally said ok he will check it out. He said there’s nothing he can do about the clog and that he didn’t see it leak (although the damage was evident) so there’s nothing he can or will do.
