BEWARE! Do not stay here!
Unless you want to rent your room by the hour… which this place definitely fits the bill. Probably also great for doing drug deals.
At check in they charged my credit card a deposit of $150 for "damages" in addition to the room rate. A deposit for damages is not unheard of. But this was not reimbursed. There were no damages. Not only did they charge me the $150, they charged me twice! $300. Which I reported to my credit card company.
After this stay my credit card was also frauded so I ended up having to cancel my cards and go through all that hassle. I have a feeling it was linked to this place.
Fridge in room didn't work. A/C unit didn't work. My room was so hot I had to open a window but was scared to leave it open long because of the sketchy neighbourhood and clientele. Toilet had that orange scum that comes from not being cleaned in a long time.
The reception area is absolutely disgusting. Have they heard of a vacuum? I wouldn't dare sit on the furniture in there.
Bed was comfortable but that's the only thing that was good. I checked it for bed bugs and thankfully didn't see any. Made sure not to place any luggage on the bed ever.
I repeat — do NOT stay here.

Absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed. The parking lot was full of garbage, the reception area was nasty dirty. Floors hadn't been washed in what seemed like months. The room was disgusting. Burn holes everywhere, unknown substances on the furniture, gum stuck to the headboard. Carpet hadn't even been vacuumed. Mirrors were dirty. Room smelled terrible. Blood and other grime on the walls. There was no where else to staying Saskatoon other than this place or we would've left. It was so bad we went and bought our own sheets and comforter. One positive, the staff were friendly.

For $70 a night is not bad if all you wanted a room. BUT… the shower curtain had layers of pink mold. The shower head held together with a face cloth; water sprayed everywhere. 2 in our room 1 set of towels — when we asked for more the were questioning us for why we need more towels. Well you can see through the towels but 2 people using 1 is just silly. Fridge was great, larger than a bar fridge. TV Roku but could only move left (right button didn't work) so no option to sign into our Netflix.
Kettle on microwave. No cups. No tea. No coffee.
Beds are ok, but we did look under mattress and the bed skirt was tucked way inside… makes me wonder when the last time they ever checked under there.
Our bags stayed OFF the floor for precaution.
The room temperature was a balmy 76 degrees and we set it to 68 but we boiled all night and had to open window at 4am just to cool off, even at — 14 the room was finally bearable.
Curtains are thin and let all the light in from the hotel across lot. It was bright all night.
Granted it was quiet. But not someplace I would book again.

Well, you have to remember its only $70 a night. Theres a banging sound that never stops in the wall from the heeter, glade we brung our earplugs. Every trade of the renovation were completed by those that have zero experience, in other words no trades men were used. It's very old. Good if your looking for a low cost room to sleep.

There was noise throughout the night. Had to change a room because the faucet had leakage. The second room l was assigned to had broken furniture. It's generally a good place but improving services would get the place a 5star.

WOW — such disappointment! Expedia said pet friendly, attached restaurant and bar. Pet friendly apparently means $100 pet fee. Restaurant and bar is no longer operating. Room was rank with an odour that did not wane. Hot water was barely above lukewarm. Expedia would do well to revise it's description of this place. I guess you get what you pay for as I look out the window and the Ramada!

I would not recommend this motel. Incessant noise made it nearly impossible to sleep due to vehicle and others partying until early hours. Avoid bringing a dog who is startled by noises. Staff were friendly and helpful. So-called "buffet style continental breakfast contained bread, jam and a packaged bran muffin to eat. The room was dank and poorly maintained. Appreciated the heating as it made up for the lack of blankets on the bed. Stay was insufficient for a stopover to break up a road trip.

Locked out of our room at 3am in — 30. Door wouldnt shut or lock, no deadbolt so we had to push a chair under the door so we didn't get robbed or assaulted in the night. Shower was either skulding hot or freezing cold you had to peel your feet off the floor to walk. Toilet was broken and wouldnt stop running the entire stay, never had cleaning service once not even a restock on toilet paper, clean towels or sheets. Worst stay ever save ur money sleep outside.

I had a really good experience at the Midtown Inn Motel. The staff were very friendly—they greeted me warmly, were easy to talk to, and made sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, the location was convenient, and the best part is that I got all of this for a really cheap price. Definitely worth it, and I’d stay here again!

The service is crazy bad, the reception guy worked like the first day been there, unorganised, he even asked us to get inside the room without giving us the key card. The cleanliness is terrible, you will see some dead bugs on the floor. The smell of the room was bad too. In addition, I paid for thr room on Agoda couple weeks ago before the date, but when we got there to check in, the reception guy said something like the reservation cannot be hold for after 12am, we booked for the correct date, we tried to explain with him, but its was hard to communicate with him, he seems didnt understand why we were trying to say, and he kept asking me to contact with Agoda, he was not able to refund, feels like he didn’t wanna help at all. Was 2am in the midnight and — 15 degree outside, we have no choice, all we can do was just pay for another room there. Thats was a bad experience overall.

Ok so its not the ritz, its a budget inn. Honestly not sure what other bad reviews are all about. But to each their own.
But the beds are supper comfy, I haven't had that good of a sleep in such a long time, tbh.
Tayed for a week before heading back to work. NO bugs, or critters not even a spider.
It was very clean, just how I like it. A bit noisy at times, but not a big deal.
Management is extremely inviting and helpful. Rule of thumb you be polite and courteous and respectful, you get it back in return. And treat the place how you would treat your own home! If anything to change I would say a continental breakfast bar would be a great touch. But other then that, it was exactly what I needed! I'll definitely be back again. Thank you.
And just to be clear I am not a bot, nor paid to say anything good or bad. Just honestly.

Dirty and run down. No hot water. No coat hangers. No coffee maker. Crappy internet. $350 deposit on an $80 room. 😂 I travel a lot and I always get the cheapest room but in this case my best advice is just spend the extra $30 and stay anywhere else. This place sucks.

The guy at the front desk was very friendly and was very helpful. But then we got to the room and when we opened up the door, I was disgusted. The carpet was disgustingly dirty and I refused to take my shoes off and quite honestly, I didn’t even want to sleep in the bed because I was scared there might be bedbugs. The bathroom was dirty and hadn’t even been swept. So I would not recommend to ever stay there even if it’s cheap. It’s cheap for a reason.

My experience DO NOT STAY here! Typical bait and switch. Staff were friendly and welcoming, eager to serve until we complained that there was no hot water. We finally got lukewarm water at 9pm and last for approx. 7 mins and the next morning no hot water. Tiles in the bottom of the shower were cracked and cut my foot. Cracks of light in the door frame were a security concern. Baseboards fell off by the door. Bed was used at best but clean. Staff were rude and horrible to deal with on check out. My advice RUN!

If I could rate a lower rating I would. First I would say yes it's my fault for the last minute booking on the long weekend but… First sign I made a HUGE mistake was the fact the "lobby" is just an old guest room. Once entering the room and getting over the musty smell it was decided luggage would stay in the bath tub. Next the toilet wouldn't flush. Then we tried to cool the room off. Well the air conditioning blew warm air so that wasn't going to work. So let's go for supper and see if it gets fixed. Nope. OK so maybe at least the toilet will flush now. Nope and guess what now there is no water at all! I guess the luggage won't get wet if we stayed. Well we didn't. Three hours of stress, weekend ruined. Decided to drive home and missed the fireworks. I would not recommend this location to anyone. A cardboard box under the Broadway Bridge would have been better. At least we would have seen the fireworks.

Rundown motel, the pictures advertised is nothing like the room I was given. Nothing worked at all, not even the lamp. The bed had paper sheets and paper pillowcases. Walls and ceilings were stained and dirty. Water was leaking out from the wall, it was noisy, it smelled musty. I booked through Expedia, the ratings on there must be fixed. Horrible place, do not stay there, its not fit for anyone. I wish I could add pictures.

After traveling from B. C. And finding that my room at the Travel Lodge had been given away, all I wanted was a shower and a bed to sleep in. The Midtown Inn offered that without any stress or difficulty. I am very grateful to the friendly staff at check in. I know that they have been working very hard to update this motel after it had been neglected by previous owners for so many years. The price of the rooms reflect that they know this is not The Bez. That being said, there were zero issues with our two rooms on both nights we stayed. Everything was clean and the area was relatively quiet for being close to downtown. I would stay again if I find myself back in Saskatoon.
