The owner is fantastic!
Dawn really made sure that my wife’s birthday was a success. Finding a nice resto at the last minute for us — she is incredible!

Wake up every morning, with a gourmet breakfast of your choice on the second floor balcony. Then a walk along the riverside, old railroad track and station, then shopping and browsing the local stores and craft shops. Prepare dinner on the BBQ, next to the outdoor cooking area and then retire to the firepit with a glass of red wine. Great spot, great city and even better hospitality. 10/10 would recommend.

Auberge de Mom petit Chum is a wonderful place to stay. Dawn goes above and beyond for her guests, you can tell she really cares that you have a memorable and relaxing stay.

Dawn is a super kind person who has always made us feel like we are old friends & goes above and beyond! I can’t wait to return someday again to this lovely oasis!

Dawn made our overnight stay memorable. The room was very inviting and nice and clean. OMG her breakfast was soooo good Eggs Benedict fresh fruit, juice coffee.

Dawn was amazing, we had such a great time in Wakefield and staying at "The Chum". We went to a show at the blacksheep inn and Dawn purchased the tickets in advance for us so we didn't miss out, and the next morning were served an incredible breakfast. It was a very busy weekend but Dawn always had time to chat and answer any questions. Loved our weekend in Wakefield and staying in such a wonderful comfortable place. Thank You so much.

So beautiful and Serene there the room was nice the bed was firm but I had a wonderful night sleep and the breakfast was great and the hostess done absolutely wonderful woman great coffee also and I recommend visiting the chocolatier that makes her chocolates on the pillow absolutely wonderful definitely going back again two thumbs up great place.

I planned a bachelor party in Ottawa and was looking for something close to Great Canadian Bungee that was different than a standard hotel. We stayed in the Studio Suite, which had plenty of room for the 4 of us, and had its own deck and private entrance. We had the entire backyard to ourselves, including a bar and a fire pit, and Dawn called local restaurants for us to make reservations and check closing times. PROS Owners are helpful and accommodating Room was clean, comfortable, and had a kitchenette and private bathroom Home cooked breakfast was included Wi-Fi and cable provided (I didn't watch TV so I can't comment on channel selection) Great location, a 10 minute walk to local restaurants and 10 minute drive to Great Canadian Bungee CONS No indoor common space Breakfast was good, but portion was small Tube TV was small and in location not viewable from the bed.

L'Auberge was amazing! Being served an amazing breakfast to your room was the icing on the cake! Thank you Dawn!

I am so glad I chose to stay at Auberge de Mon Petit Chum! I really felt at home and I was actually sad to leave… I stayed here only because I went bungee jumping and the company indicated them but in the end, Dawn — the owner — was the one who helped me with everything. She is such an amazing host! She picked me up at Ottawa, took me to the bungee jumping site and when she returned to pick me up and I was still waiting for my jump she took pictures of me! Thanks to her I have great memories of this and also from Wakefield because she told me all the nice places to see and do while I was there. I also had the pleasure to meet her husband Sebastian, baby Bobby and little Veronica and they were all so nice to me. The house is great and my room — Black Sheep — was very cozy, clean and well maintained. It felt like I was at my mom's — I had everything I needed! If I ever visit Wakefield again or anywhere close, I will definitely stay with them again! One more time, thank you for doing so much for me, I will never forget this!

We had a great time in Wakefield. It was our first time visiting and I didn't have to do a thing. Dawn and Seb hooked us up with tickets and reservations and even snowshoes! The B&B is cute, quaint and private and breakfast was amazing. Thanks again.

My friends and I had a great time in Mon Petit Chum. The owners are really friendly, the rooms are nicely decorated (each in different style) and Dawn's breakfasts are really yummy. I would definitely recommend a stay there.

Had a great time at this lovely B&B. Nestled in the heart of quaint and picturesque Wakefield it was both a romantic and conveniently located escape for my wife and I. The owners were lovely and the B&B was what one hopes to find in a B&B. I highly recommend a stay at Mon Petit Chum.
