Positive: Excellent room. Ok area but close to everything Negative: No parking. Small paid lot (5 cars) in the back side of building (extremely close). Book online before you arrive.

Large room and bathroom plus kitchenette. Comfortable bed and a little balcony — great value for money. A bit of stale cigarette smell in lift and hallway.

I lived at La Citadelle for 8 months as a student in a single room and had a fantastic experience. It is in an amazing location.

Great location, 6 minutes walk to McGill. One of the best dorms to McGill students. It has a study room, vending machines, a big laundry area, a café; however the gym is too small.

I enjoyed it. Because of how quiet it was. There's nothing fancy here. But it's next to Berri-Uqam campus, and it's close to metro subway transit.

This hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Montreal! It's very close to the bars and other good spots; there's a metro station within a few hundred metres as well.

I had an amazing stay at Sonder Penny Lame in Montreal! The apartment was perfect—spacious, modern, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable staycation.

Best place I stayed at. Very clean, the apartment unit looked beautiful and I appreciate the fact they had laundry soap available since I needed to use the washer and dryer.

Location is fantastic, rooms are nice, only concern is sound proofing.

Nice and clean. Location was good since we were there for the eclipse and hiked nearby Mt Royal. One person did not drink coffee.

While much renovation is needed, especially the elevators, yet the exceptional assistance from the front desk attendees like Sarah & Ziad and the cleaners crew made the stay lovely.

Clean hotel. Great location. Decent sized rooms. Bed was comfortable. The only con of my experience was the slow elevators — only 2 for a building that has 15+floors is not ideal.

Fantastic value, we got a room with a private bathroom and it was much cheaper than any other hotel nearby. Early check-in was available for free, which was great too.

Fairly clean, we got 2 queen beds with private bathroom, it was smaller but comfortable and the AC worked well. We've never stayed in a city like this before so we didn't really know what to expect.

I had a good experience here. It's a clean enough private room with a queen sized bed. The staff mainly speak French but he was friendly to me as a woman solo traveller.

My mom and I had a perfect experience in this hotel. The location is center of downtown and so close to everything. The room we stayed was clean.

Curtains: do keep in mind that yes, the blinds are semi opaque.

I’ve stayed here twice now and will continue to come back whenever I’m in town for a concert. The location proximity to the Bell Centre can’t be beat.

Location is good close to old Montreal with about 10 mnts drive (thanks to the read and crazy roads). There are quite a few places for various food joints.

This hostel is very central. And in one of the nicer central areas nonetheless. It's literally surrounded by coffee shops and transportation is easily reachable.

How do I rate a commercial hotel that sells bunk bed spaces? What do the stars mean? L'Auberge L'Apéro is a different experience for everyone.

I'm not sure if there was a management shake up here but the reviews don't reflect the experience I had personally.

The price is very reasonable, the rooms are older, the room service was not prompt: had to ask several times for room service. Also, the AC was not functioning for the first 12 days of my 15-day stay.

Awesome place! Loft offered all that one will ever need when vacationing (fully finished kitchen + washer/dryer units). Lovely apt in a great safe area, walkable to many great attractions.
