Montréal Hotels

The hotel is fine. It's not terribly modern or up to date, and the room I had was a little run down, but it's serviceable. The location is great though, and the price isn't terrible. We had a great view of the city from our 17th floor room. I'll probably stay here again in the future.

Nice clean rooms, quiet hotel and friendly staff. Lots of stuff to do nearby and I would stay here again as long as the price is reasonable.

Location is ok… if you have a car you need to park at the Mcgill residence underground parking for 20 dollars a day.
Had to complain Friday and Saturday night of excessive noise above us which was very dissapointing. Coffe maker was not working well and did not come to fix it.

Had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The rooms were impeccably clean, and the unique layout added a special touch to the experience. Finding parking was not hard, and the location was perfect – couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Old Montreal.
From the moment we arrived until the time we left, our experience at Hotel Place d’Armes was nothing short of exceptional!
The service we received (as per usual) never disappoints! From valet to room service, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

Excellent location, however rooms differ in size as this is an old hotel. My room was large and spacious, with an amazing bed. Request a corner room that over looks the square, mine had a huge view and 3 windows (room 1.202). Please note the 1.201 room is quite small and lacks light. Over all, would return to this hotel/ very romantic and prime location. Here for meetings & the food was ok at out conference events (note – the soup was consistently cold every day, and offerings were just ok.

Really nice hotel situated right in the center of downtown Montreal, you got tons of shops and restaurants around you. The room was fantastic, lots of light and big windows, with the best thing being the bathtub. There were two TVs, one in the bedroom and one right on top of the bathtub, unfortunately none of them were smart tvs so hope you like local programs.

Good location. No problems with checkin and checkout. Did not try the breakfast. We stayed for 4 days. Friendly staff. Room and bed and bathroom fine. Temperature control worked fine.
Housekeeping, however, needs to improve their quality control. Day 2 they forgot to supply clean hand towels. Day 3 they forgot to wash the dirty wine glasses. Dusting of the desktop also not done for the duration. For an expensive hotel, not really up to par, otherwise a pleasant stay.

This is our 2nd visit to this absolutely fabulous hotel. We’ve had very good luck with W Hotels, but this is our best experience by far. The hotel is beautiful with very well designed and stylish rooms. The restaurant and bar are both excellent, with great cocktails and a thoughtful menu with good selections for breakfast and dinner (didn’t try it for lunch). Food is excellent. The best thing about this hotel is the service.

Downtown is under construction but the noise is not overwhelming in the hotel. Everyone I have dealt with so far has been kind and helpful. I love the windows aand the ease of finding the hotel. Many restaurants within walking distance.

Great location with access to the Metro Bonaventure station via elevator from the lobby. Hotel is a little dated and in need of renovation. But the bed, pillows, and linen were of great quality. The pool was too small to swim laps in, but the gym was decently equipped. Service was top-notch and staff was friendly and responsive.

Great B&B, very quiet and beautifully upgraded. Perfect location in the Village and wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

Wonderful atmosphere, great service, close to the metro, highly recommend.

The staff were very welcoming, their dog was adorable, and everything was clean. Breakfast was very good, and a nice social start to our day. We enjoyed the Hot Tub outside, and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay! We opted for this instead of an hotel, I'm glad we did. Booking was easy, manager lives on site, she's very friendly and easy to talk to. Everything we could need, even things we didn't think we would use, was there. It was a great stay. Metro is close by, which provides easy access to any where you want to go. There's a dep right down the street as well. 10/10 definitely would recommend to anyone traveling. 100% will return on my next trip to MTL.

Come and spend a pleasant stay in Montreal in this bed & breakfast. The hosts really did everything to make me feel good. Homemade lunch. Comfortable bedding. Well decorated. Paid indoor parking (very useful in Montreal).

This was my first time staying at a B&B. I was very impressed with this bed and breakfast, the location and also with my host Nicolas and Phillipe. When back in Montreal will definitely return here.

My husband and I found Gite L'Iimprevu because it was close to family we were visiting. We were enchanted! The room was furnished perfectly, with everything you might need, and with art from around the world. The facilities were spotless and fresh. Rita's breakfasts were multiple star!, delicious with food to last until a late lunch. The innkeepers were also helpful, providing us with detailed directions and allowing us to keep our luggage there after check-out.
