For the price we paid, it was a decent hotel. Free parking, Free Breakfast, Free Internet. Overall it was a better hotel considering its 2 star given. Staff did whatever they can. What you pay, what you get.

Very old look and feel. Not the cleanest place and furniture is a mix and match of different styles and eras. Breakfast is very simple: croissants, muffins, toasted bread, orange juice and coffee. The walls are a bit thin so if your neighbors are noisy, you'll hear them. The doors to the rooms are hard to close because the wood expanded with the humidity from the showers. Poor ventilation. Basically, not worth the paid price. I would have expected a 50$can per night for this quality of hotel/motel, not 96$can.

I wouldn't even give this place a half star. From checking in to checking out. I had booked a room through the phone for $164 park and fly but when we got there conveniently there was no reservation then the lady at the front desk wanted to charge me $250. Room was cool but very hot in the motel. I would never stay at this place again. You're what you pay for I guess.

4 stars primarily for the people who work here. They are VERY nice. 4 stars also because they have a shuttle to the airport. 4 stars is a stretch though… the whole place is a little busted. No fridge in room for over 100$ seems a little weird to me but meh whatever, I’ll deal. Also there are windows to the rooms from hallway, a little motel-ish.

Clean, inexpensive, parking available for the week if you wanted to leave your car during your trip.
Fun fact: Good luck to recharge your cell phone in your room. There are only 2 plugs and they can be used by a lamp or coffee machine.

Economy hotel, very basic, but if you are going away by on vacation, they offer a good deal for parking for the week if you stay for the night, and shuttle service to and from airport.

We used the parking only — we did not stay overnight. We used the parking option while on vacation. Staff were friendly. There's a shuttle to take you to the airport, the driver was nice and helpful.

Used the parking service and free shuttle to the airport. Parking lot appears to be a free for all with no assigned spots even though you prepay. It would be easy to have your car boxed in or find that there are no available spots when you show up. Price is good but you do get what you pay for. I'm not sure I'd park here again.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. The booking seemed promising for a one night stay with parking for a week to go on vacation. Easily done online. On arrival, the building was found with a bit of inconvenience from the 520 but we used our brains and got there. We meandered through the airport parking lot, which was incredibly tight. On our way through, we did not see a single open spot. They obviously are trying to maximize income from the lot so cudos to them but to a limit. The parking attendant was driving a brand new dinged up corolla and he did not speak a word of English or French. I went to the front desk and the lady was more intent on getting my money than making sure there was a parking spot available. I told her I wasn’t going to pay until I knew there was a spot available so she made a phone call in a language other than French or English. She said go see the parking attendant and he’ll help you out. We went back into the lot and approached him. He didn’t understand a word I said and I couldn’t make out anything he was trying to explain. Eventually I pointed to my vehicle and to a filled parking spot and he understood. He took his banged up Corolla around the lot, scraping the bumper of one car for sure but he made some turns I couldn’t follow in a SUV. I got out and walked over to him. He still didn’t have a spot for me, and I kind of got the impression he was trying to get away from me.

Was better to laugh than to cry…
And we rather laughed as it was a free night with 8000 points from my Choice privileges account. Night from 10 to 11 February 2018. I booked online without a problem. We expected anyway to not much with the incredible number of horrible and mediocre reviews on Tripadvisor but we had hope anyway. Forget about parking especially in winter. The cars all around were buried and parked becomes a nightmare. It is mostly a transit hotel between you and the airport. The young man at the front desk was pretty arrogant especially when I told him kindly that I was writing a lot on Tripadvisor and giving us the best room as we had read very unfavorable opinions. He replied that we could write what we wanted and it didn't matter because the hotel will be closed in a week and everything will be restored by the new owners under a new banner. But he also told us that he would still be employed because little else knows the work he does here. I believe it assigned us one of the worst room either the 223 with a heating speed bath sauna style. The major snag is that there was only one speed. Then it's off where we die. It was infernal when I walked into that room. The heater was walking and it was surely 40 degrees! The TV was not working. The key was not working either and it gave us a standard key going directly into the lock. We have pictures of this room.

Possibility of park and fly. But the shuttle is shared with other hotels so there is little waiting to get back from the airport. Parking is normally safe.

You defenetly get what you pay for! Free shuttle to airport as much as you wish, our plane was delayed 3 hours and they came back to get us and gave us our room back and our breakfast was still included! That was reliving!

We recently used their long term parking services for the airport. When we dropped off our car the shuttle attendant was horrifically rude, yelling at me and tried to leave with some of my family not yet in the shuttle. The security attendant in the parking lot was equally rude to my sister and tried to drive her car without her consent. Upon our return our car had been plowed in and when we asked for assistance by way of a shovel, the staff at the hotel said they could do nothing to help and asked what I expected of them. I would never use this service again not even for the discounted parking rates. I can not stress enough how awful all staff we encountered were at this location.

The place was very dirty. Dirty carpet and room a little noisy.

Not to hide it, it is not very attractive. Its reception door is far from the sidewalk (annoying a bit when you have big luggage) and its reception desk is dark. On the other hand, there are no bad odors and the room we had was very clean and very large.

It has been some time since I stayed here, but, in my 30 years of frequent travel, my experience here was THE WORST I have ever experienced. When I arrived at the room, I noticed it was still quite messy, so, I pulled back the sheets and one bed had blood spots and " bodily fluid". Quite disgusting. Went into the bathroom and the garbage had not been emptied. Let's just say I found out why the sheets were the way the were. When I went to front desk to ask for a new room, the front desk attendant quite rudely refused and even told me I was lying about the room! After a quite heated discussion, they sent someone to reclean the room (after me waiting for almost an hour). The room was also VERY hot and AC did not work so, again, went to the front desk and again, was refused a new room. Because I had booked through Expedia, I called them and they assured me they would take care of it (which they did with a full refund), but, the hotel refused to provide any type of customer service. This location should be removed from ALL lodging search engines as both the condition of the building and customer service were absolutely pathetic!

If I could give less than 1 star I would! dirty dirty dirty…

Low budget place… you get what u pay for. Staff is friendly and the room is adequate for what you pay. No complaints as I got exactly what I paid for. I knew exactly what to expect based on online pics and reviews. Thank you, Econo.

Very overpriced considering what a dive this place is. Bed was fine, which is the most important thing. Bathroom wasn't very clean—didn't want to risk using the shower. Better places can definitely be found near the airport for not much more.

The manager Nicole was rude and refused to listen to anything that was said about the room. Checked in and out within an hour after a 7 hour flight day to be met with the most putrid smell when opening the room door. A mix of body odor and ammonia and poop… Yes poop that was floating in the toilet when we checked in. We were hung up on twice while trying to contact the hotel manager Nicole. And as soon as she heard a complaint about smoking there was nothing else she wanted to listen to. She was rude. And the night girl staff told us that we would get a refund on the room because we only stayed for an he before taking the 3 hour drive home at 2am. This place is nothing but lies, germs and rudeness. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

Avoid this unsanitary place, forced to change 3 times room because of cleanliness and spiders. We slept there because we had no choice but everything dressed!

Good place for students near the Unibersidad.

Hotel not found when arriving at 6755 Côte de Liesse, there is a large sign but at the foot of which there is nothing but a large car park and nothing else… finally by calling the hotel we are told to continue the parking behind with a So-called illuminated panel that does not exist on this side, the person on the phone did not seem to want to help us and showed no empathy, hardly amiable. We finally found it, but what a welcome! To get my car back 1 week later I was dealing with another person from the front desk and this was even worse, I pass you the details.
I had made the choice of this hotel Éconolodge of St Laurent Despite the bad reviews I had read on the Internet because it was the cheapest and I had to spend only one night… but I encountered such annoyances regarding the parking of my car And the arrival at the hotel, (see above) and especially I had to deal with the very unpleasant and anti-commercial attitude of the 2 people of the reception. I used to travel and go down to hotels for almost 30 years and I had not yet had such a bad customer service. I will of course go somewhere else next time even I have to pay a more expensive one.

The service desk is terrible. The lady on Sept 15, 2017 evening was busy talking to her friend on the desk. After giving us the room number, she didn't tell us how to find our room in this maze like hotel in dark evening, instead, she started to pick up other phone and ignored us, so unprofessional! Never had this bad service before.

It is an okay room, good for one night. Had 2 beds, not the most comfortable, but fine for a night. Double beds in room. The mini fridge was wobbly, hard to open it without stuff falling out if freezer. Basic amenities. Free breakfast, and it was decent.

Terrible place to stay. Scared to walk on the floors and the smell is terrible! Thermostat is totally busted and phone has no cord to plug into the wall. Absolutely terrible — I know it's not a super expensive hotel but it's not even worth the $105 you end up spending! Horrible experience!

We had an amazing stay at Econolodge. There is lots of new renovation at the hotel. Our room was fresh, clean and modern. Staff was very helpful and shuttle service very prompt. We had free breakfast which was excellent.

Some rooms here need a bit of work. The carpets are old and should be replaced. In the two rooms I was in, the two toilets wouldn't stop running. The beds are springy, but comfortable. No huge problems. Generally speaking, you get what you pay for. I will say that the staff was very friendly and willing to work with you. If you have any disability which stops you from being able to limb stairs, make sure you let the hotel know before coming in. There are no elevators and the stairs are narrow.

Room OK but the bathroom left to desire: poor drainage of the water. No parking available.

I never notice the place, but this one is the worst place to go. If I could, I would give — 3. I slept in hotels for worker at $60 at night and it was much better. Very, but very dirty: the room towels of the last person who had been in that room was still there (to wonder if they had change the sheets), there was foam in the fridge, behind the scenes of grime everywhere. I didn't even dare to go and see what the breakfast looked like. The service is worth a big 0. Parking is not snowing; I had to shovel to be able to leave and the attendant at the reception kindly told me that there was no problem, that it was normal for customers to have to shovel to get their vehicles out!

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Couldn't get a cot. Not allowed extra pillows. Not safe. Dirty. Hard mattresses. Will never stay again.

Very poor rooms, they had airconditioning in some rooms, it was just a separate unit, which had the ac exhaust in the same room blowing out extremely hot air, the fire bell rang at 2am for an hour, staff refused to reimburse anything, Very disrespectful staff, provided me with an email to an owner who never replied. She wrote the email on a piece of paper, Very unprofessional, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Had a room booked here for May 10, 2016. When I went into the room, there were a bunch of ants crawling on the floor because there were scraps of food left on the floor. I didn't feel comfortable staying there overnight, and I told the receptionist that I would be staying elsewhere for the night. He told me I would be refunded. I just called back today (May 19, 2016) and now it seems the owner is refusing to refund the money.

Clean rooms, good service… I wud recommend this hotel.

The only reason why we are using Econolodge is to park the car for the week while we go to Mexico. The hotel itself is a 2 star and has lots of potential to be better. Removing the carpet and adding floating wood or something more updated will greatly increase the look and feel of place. My two cents.

Receptionist very unwelcoming to not to say arrogant, careful, you must sign a waiver against him vandalizing your car and it is not for nothing, I was vandalizing my and I to go to the police station making statement. Lost 4 hours of my time. On our return trip, we called the hotel to tell them that we were and that we needed the shuttle and we have been received on the phone with the same attogance…

Horrible. Stay away. The parking. Stay away… I'm in my car for 4 hours of time to get out of the parking lot. Everybody is throwing the ball. No refund. No taxi for accommodates. I prepare my demand letter also happened tot has the House to get a refund and moral damage for the pathetic service. It is taken hostage, me and my wife without water and no accomodation. Even not able to pay you a liqueur or water. There are just some foreign currency for the dispenser.

The room was VERY hot. We believe the thermostat was broken. Even after calling the front desk to tell them the problem, they did nothing. Other than the room being in the 80 degrees, the rest of the hotel was good.

I called to get information about their parking-hotel rates. An employee of kind Arab to see his accent replied, she my bargained the price in a fraction of a second and in my opinion to "garoche" the phone on the counter without telling me to wait. I was waiting at the end of the phone to have my info while Madam was chatting with whomever. After 5 min. I'm tired and I hung up. Talk to the professionalism. Even if the airport parking lot is a little more expensive I prefer to book with them, so I'm certain of my booking.

Pathetic place, do not ever think about it going there. When I went there, parking lot was full of snow, they did not shovel it saying machine is broken. I had a terrible time trying to park my car there. It got stuck three times until I reached my parking spot. Excuse from the admin staff, MACHINE IS BROKEN. How pathetic! And when I got into the room, I found bed bugs. To add insult to injury, the staff their is super rude. I decided to not stay there and left. They kept my money though.

I reserve a week in advance and the day or I tip told me "Mr there is no booking in your name" it was well worth booking in advance. … in any case I have to redo all of the start on site! But the proximity of the airport with shuttle service and the possibility of parking during the trip still good the positive.

Used it to park my car during my travels. Every other airport parking were full so I took a chance. The shuttle drivers are serving many other economic hotels and they are all so confused. It was a real nightmare to go to each of other hotels to pickup other passengers. It took us 50 minutes to reach the airport. Staff is not qualified in any other things than watching foreign TV. Sorry not true, they are also excellent at facebooking. Especially the 3 receptionists I had. And They seemed to speak all the language of the world except English or French. Next time I'll use Park n' fly. I wouldn't even dare to sleep there.

To start, please understand that this hotel is focused on utility much more than comfort and enjoyment.
Located in the industrial center of the Trudeau airport, its strength lies in long-stay parking, and shuttle service.
For the rest, it is quite poor. No food service. At the reception, there is an impressive amount of menus of restaurants making the delivery. Otherwise, the only acceptable restaurant is located in the IKEA at the end of the street, 10 minute walk.
For us, the room was acceptable. Bathroom clean.
Only downside, a lot of hair on the pillow that did not seem a pillowcase.
It was perfect for a flight at 4:30 in the morning.
However, if the case arises, hotel will not be my first choice.

It was what you pay for. I can't understand why there is a window opening into the hallway though. Aside from horrible decor it was relatively clean and friendly.

The hotel is a bit dated in its décor. If you want simple inexpensive lodging this hotel is for you. The parking lot gets a bit packed at night though. The room I had was large and comfortable. The hotel for the price point is a good deal.

We needed a location to congregate for a large group for sleep, park, fly before our trip. While the shuttles to the airport were well organized, we had to argue with the shuttle drivers to get everyone back to the hotel. On arriving back at the hotel we discovered that several of our cars had been broken into and all the hotel attendant had to say was "sorry". We had asked the hotel staff prior to leaving whether the lot was secure and they ensured us they had security cameras, the lot clearly wasn't secure.

Very seedy. Recommended only for the strong-willed and lone travellers.

Customer service is beyond terrible. We booked a couple of rooms in this place months ahead requesting for 2 double beds due to the fact that we had 4 people planned to stay in each room. Granted, this is not the greatest hotel, we were planning on staying there for just 3 nights since we will mostly be out during the days anyways. Having driven for 14hours to get there and hoping to just check in and relax, we arrived with a surprise that our rooms were switched to single beds. The customer service guy who initially gave us the keys was very apologetic and tried to help as much as he could but they overbooked the place so there were no more rooms available. We ended up using the single beds rooms for a few hours just to catch up on sleep. They gave us new rooms hours later. We then asked to talk to the manager, Nicole, to request our money for the night without the room booked back. This lady went ahead and screamed her lung out telling us there is nothing she can do and just didn't want to hear what was going on. She went ahead and said she switched the rooms to single beds because she saw that "the rooms were booked for 2-people" which she assumed would be automatically couples (why would couples request 2 double beds? ). For the record, we booked via priceline which does not even ask how many people will be staying there. Priceline just gave options of type of beds with equivalent pricing.

No hot water, trashy rooms, ridiculously overheated. Honestly, it's cheap for a reason this is not a nice place to stay if you have any standards.

Cheap room but have stayed at locations for the same price and they have at least had a fridge in the room. Worst Econo Lodge I have stayed so far.
