Very clean cottages. Very helpful staff. Lots of dishes, cutlery and glasses. Highly recommend.

Nice cottage, well maintained and clean facility. Friendly staff.

Our room was dirty and smelly. Told the lady at the front desk and did nothing about it.

Bad experience trying to cancel/rebook reservations. Tried to switch reservations to another weekend with the money we paid for the 3 nights and was told that wasn’t a problem.
I emailed as I was told to do — and got an email back stating they couldn’t give me another (at least 2 of the 3 nights we paid for) and I would have to pay for the whole stay again.
I wouldn’t even go there for a second now that the Owner hung up the phone on me after making a promise, the night before.
Never book with them — very rude.
No stars to even recommend this place of operation.

Arrived to a mouldy kettle and mouldy washing up brush. Found food stuck to dishes and once that happened my OCD kicked in and I couldn't use the dishes. Found my daughters sheets with brown stains on them, filth under the dressers. I got the broom out to sweep and it was old and coated in god knows whose hair and dirt. Did not let my children use the jacuzzi tub in the cottage as you could see the mould on the jets while standing in the bathroom. The toilet seat was peeling around the edges and the cottage never felt like it had been truly cleaned. There was a couple cigarette butts on the upper deck as well. Having stayed in beautiful cottages in Shelburne previously I knew this wasn't up to the norm of standard cleaning. The fridge leaked on the inside and got everything wet and we were told that it was just ice that was melting due to fridge being turned down. It lasted from day 3 until we left. It must have been an iceberg in there. We ate out and didn't unpack the groceries we brought because no way I was cooking there after the dishes and there weren't enough pots or pans to do a proper meal regardless.
We checked out and left the cottage likely cleaner than when we arrived and they had the audacity to charge my mothers credit card $100 for a ketchup mess in the cupboard when we clearly knew there was no mess because there was no ketchup in the cupboard. It was allegedly under the dishes that no one used.

A dreadful experience! This was an executive 3 bedroom cottage (cottage #3)
The kettle had mould in the lip and the brush to clean dishes had mould also, they replaced them but my daughter has issues with dirt etc and from day one would not eat on anything and made her tea in a Tim Hortons cup.
Dishes had to be rewashed as food on some, fridge had no kick plate and leaked on day 3, kitchen light missing one bulb, bathroom lights above mirror had one yellowish bulb and one white, no bathroom mat for tub which is slippery, dirt under dressers, large gouge on kitchen floor, couch and chair mismatched and chair was most uncomfortable, an electrical outlet had no cover plate as it was broken and laying on the floor (unnoticed by cleaning staff), AC was totally inadequate for upstairs which was hotter than the fringes of hell, outside railings on both sides loose and shaking.
I cooked scrambled eggs and microwaved tomatoes each day and children ages 13, 11, &10 ate peanut butter toast, cereal, lunchables and packaged snacks. All food that was to be used my daughter stored on top of fridge still in bags and it all went back home. We ate out every day. Wifi was sketchy but due to provider not the cottage owner.
So to get an email three days after we left telling me that my credit card had been charged $100 for a ketchup mess (apparently in the cupboard where the dishes were stored) was a shock.

So although I have yet to stay there (we will be arriving next week) I feel as though Alison and Natasha both deserve a shout out for their amazing customer service! For the span of 24 hours Natasha went out of her way to give me so much information and was incredibly patient with my million questions and phone calls! Natasha never rushed me through my calls although I could tell she was very busy and called me back when we got disconnected. As well as left notes for others to call me back to give me further information. Alison was also lovely to deal with and provided me with answers to even more questions and sent emails back and fourth to me to ensure I had all the information I wanted and needed to accommodate our huge group of 12! I understand CBMF weekend is a wild and hectic one but these two ladies went out of their way to ensure our accommodations were made and that I was left MORE than satisfied with my service. Both gals were A1 with their attitudes, honesty and customer service skills and my group is so excited to get there next week! The cottage looks unreal and it'll be SO nice not to bring along all of the 'extras' and just get to have a good time with some friends without the all the added stressers! It's disappointing to read all the negative reviews from a particular group when there could be so many positive reviews and people just don't take the time to write them!

Terrible experience … do not recommend! Beautiful cottages so it’s to bad there customer service is the shits!

Terrible costumer service. Clearly stated In email it was for a stagette and they had no problem taking our money. We were not even there for a hour before leaving for the day when then called us and said no stagettes and continued to harass us all day by calling multiple times. Ended up finding different arrangements for the evening because they would not leave us alone. Very ignorant on the phone. Dead bolted our door with all our stuff inside. Ended up driving to western P. E. I. At the end of the night and they called on the way home about noise complaints when no one was at the cottage.

Well we booked this cottage about 3 months in advance for a mini stagette, in the emails with manager or whoever it was they where notified of this event! No issues they accept an e transfer for payment! We arrived decorated a bit ate quickly and took off to go out on a boat for the day, while loading in the cars to leave, 2 employees walked into our cottage without asking little did they know 2 of our girls where still inside they then said “ohh we just wanted to be nosey, … yahs r having a stagette how fun, hope yahs have a good night” (but they didn’t realize anyone was even in the cottage so I’m not happy with this part) then while on the boat we got 3 phone calls from Allen and lady, first time question our event. Second time, questing the names staying and names on “visitor list” so we gave them the names, third time wanting to know what cars where staying I told Allen 4 cars and 2 cars r visitors so 6 total, so at this point on the boAt we r all getting pretty discouraged that they would not leave ya alone and we r not even there, on phone I told him when we arrive back I would go to office to sign everyone in and he said he is off at 6 and he isn’t sticking around to do that! So we had a friend go to cottage to grab some things for us to do games elsewhere when she arrives our door was pad locked with a note to go to the office, 550 I called office n said we needed that removed if he wasn’t gonna be around by the time we got back! Eventually they unlocked it!

Terrible experience last night. Will never return!

Very nice cottages although pricey. Tranquil.

My extended family and I came for 5 days of fun at Cavendish Beach. The cottage was lovely and had ample room to hold us all. The pool was clean and warm and the view was great. The field was great for all the kids to play in. It took less than 15

The fridge did not work for the whole time we were here! They did try to fix it to no avail, we lost the food we had bought. Cottages were very clean and spacious. They are located minutes away from everything. They have a small playground, outdoor pool and hot tub, gym and games room.

Great but staff was a bit cranky.

Mouse problems. Shortage of toilet paper. OK service. Over priced.

Pros: great location, nice cottages, decently comfortable beds, flatscreen TV with cable, great pool/hot tub, playground for kids, staff was consistent replacing dirty towels and picking up garbage, decent space between cottages, community fire pit away from cottages is great to keep any yahoos away who want to party by a fire at night. Cons: Wi-Fi is horrible. The best speed I could get was before 7am when everyone was likely still sleeping. Best speed test I got was about 1mb/s. Facebook barely loaded so forget about Netflix. I personally don’t care, but it’s nice to have for the kids in the evening. Overall: Great place. I would consider coming again. Please fix the Wi-Fi issue!

Visited on the tail end of the tourist season but very quiet overall. Outside of town but still close to the amenities. Beds are a little hard and TVs out of date, but really liked the location.

My friends wanted to give it a 4☆ I think it's was a 3 because I asked several question with perplexed answers because of a distinct language barrier.

Amazing! Quiet area! Great place for kids not too far from all attractions.

Just a fantastic place to stay — great cottage — fantastic amenities — close to all attractions and a very attentive and helpful staff. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly come back. A+++ all around!

Stayed at the basic cottage with king bed and jacuzzi as a last minute retreat. Booked last minute and was impressed the whole stay! Lots of extra amitities and felt like we got a good bang for our buck based on the looks of all the other cottages in the area. Everything was close by and the check-in was a breeze. Will definitely return!

My family stayed in your two-bedroom standard cottage this past weekend! It was a perfect cottage for us! Very clean and spacious. Service was friendly — pool was great. Couldn't figure out how to work the hot tub. But we enjoyed the hot water anyway! We would definitely recommend and would definitely return!

This is a great place. Very clean, good location, nice pool facility. Would stay here again.
