We stayed here as a large group for our 2018 annual summer get together. 17 adults plus 10 children. While it did have everything we needed and had the potential to be wonderful, I would say it needs a lot of work and a deep clean. Pros — space, pool, fire pit. Cons — filthy, cost. Needs attention. See list below. For the cost of 3 nights, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, propane and bath towels should all be included. If AC is advertised, there should be a working air conditioner. None of the downstairs windows open which is a huge flaw, the house was stuffy, hot and had no air flow. Wi-Fi was a joke and barely worked. Overall this place is pretty run down, the back deck should be cleaned, front porch steps (main entrance) should be replaced, furniture should be in good condition, clean and safe. Bedding should be clean with no stains, refrigerators should be in good working order. There is a serious ant problem in both the kitchen and around the pool area. Poison ivy visible. Hot tub still installed but didn’t work. Huge bbq area with multiple bbqs but only a tiny one that worked, so that doesn’t really accommodate the size of the place. Gazebo frames still in place with no shaders, gardens over run, flagstone and steps in need of repair. Supplying proper amount of Garbage containers as advertised that lock if there’s an animal problem.
Everything was wonderful. Staff all very nice. Rooms are clean.

We rented the entire B&B for a long weekend this summer, there were 25-26 of us. Everything was very clean, the pool was — hands down — the best feature on the property and, all-in-all, we had a great time. That being said, there were a few issues. — Fridge doesn't latch shut properly, was open a few hours during the night and we woke up to a room temp. Fridge. — Zero hand soap was to be found in any bathroom, and it was not mentioned in the "Must Bring" list in the package we received upon reserving the space. — Faulty plumbing. During our Saturday night dinner the ceiling started leaking onto the dining tables from the bathroom above. — Considering the price and the elegance of the property, I expected a fairly decent propane grill. The charcoal was great but we were grilling for 20+ people and required the propane as well. It was in terrible shape, one of the smallest, saddest little $90 BBQs I've ever seen. — "Fully stocked kitchen, " even utensil wise, was a full on lie. Broken can opener, no milk pitcher, veg. Peeler. Which I would have brought if it wasn't explicitly stated that there would be everything we needed. — Hot tub wasn't working. Other than that, it really was lovely and as mentioned above, the pool is awesome and that is where we spent most of our time. A little pricey to book the whole property but I'd definitely recommend renting a room for a night or two.
