Rooms as expected, good A/C and amenities. Good service, nice detail about the muffins and coffee in the lobby. The location is ideally close to a shopping center and easy access to the highway but you get no noise at all. During high season prices go up as does the demand so book early.

Room is clean, the carpet is fairly new, and looks like the walls have been painted recently. The bedding is clean and new. The room is basic, and small, with no frills (like drinking cups), but have everything you need to sleep a night. The closet and shower/bath are small but clean and functional. Good value for the price. Only downside is the room was right over the smoking area. I would recommend an odd numbered room or less than and greater than (I was in room 308).

Great staff, all helpful and polite. We had our dog with us who received a gift bag on our arrival. That was nice. Clean room as well.

Nothing out of the ordinary, staff are there for pay, not really there to go out of their way to help or engage in any conversation. The best part of our visit was getting directions to a different motel. When you arrive at 3 in the morning after a 6 hour drive, it would be nice to be treated differently than a burden that forced you to hit pause on your show.

Clean room and washroom. Easy check in and check out. Polite staff. Nice experience.

The girls working at the desk in this motel made our visit wonderful! they were courteous, smiling, and very friendly. The room was neat, and clean… and we had a room facing the back, it was very quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this motel.

Super staff — friendly and helpful. Clean and free of critters (2nd floor, Feb 19/18) Pool is possibly the smallest hotel pool I have seen, but warm and clean. Breakfast was Timmy's muffins in the lobby, so we had to top up the kids down the street. Basic room, fairly small, but also neat, clean and in good repair. They do well at what they claim to do. Not fancy, but all we needed.

I'm very impressed by Motel 6 in Huntsville. If you arrive expecting luxury accommodations, you might be disappointed. If you're looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay, you'll be happy. The room was very clean, and included both a fridge and a microwave, which was a nice surprise as I didn't expect to get either of those in a low cost motel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. It took a while for snow to be plowed from the lot, but considering that we received 2+ feet of snow in a 24 hour period, I can't fault the motel for that. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely stay there again. Update — I stayed here again in 2017 and it was even better this time around. The beds seemed more comfortable this year, so they may have upgraded them since my last stay. I'd recommend Motel 6 Huntsville even more strongly now. After an additional stay at the beginning of 2018, I'm happy to report that the model is still great. The room was warm and comfortable even though it was — 30 outside.

I booked this hotel for my Girls' Basketball team and I cannot say enough great things about it! The service we received from the Front Desk was outstanding. Very helpful, patient, and accommodating. The rooms, although smaller, were very clean and had all the necessities we needed. We required a later check-out and the Front Desk was happy to accommodate my entire team! I will definitely book here again!

Initially the front desk service was atrocious, I asked to view the room and was shouted at, told I wasn't getting the room etc. Etc. Then the other desk clerk a very nice lady told him to be quiet and go away. She offered to show my wife and I the room no problem. I am visually impaired and some rooms can be difficult for me to navigate. The room was fine everything well placed easy for me, we were quite happy with the cleanliness also. The firs impression at the front desk was very disappointing to say the least. Coffee making in the room would have been nice. Good Value for the Price.

Cleanliness and rooms including amenities in order for the price. Especially if you use the indoor pool. Microwave and refrigerator available. For breakfast, muffins from Tims Hortons and coffee or tea are available free of charge in the motel lobby.

Ok so I will start by saying the whole booking situation was a nightmare… we were staying for a wedding so I called to book and the man (manager) picked up the phone 1) He was RUDE! 2) he could not find the name of the wedding we were staying with so he told me I was mistaken… then he said I had the spelling of the couple wrong and that if I wanted to book I would have to pay the regular price. I asked if there was someone else I could maybe talk to because he was yelling at me and he was insisting that I had him on speaker phone which I did not. I had told him I would double check the invite for correct spelling and call back… maybe I was wrong. I called back 15 min later with invite in hand and he continued to tell me that I was wrong… that they had no rooms on hold. He was yelling at me again it was like I had wasted his time. I told him thank you and hung up. I'm sorry but I myself work in customer service and there is no way that I would ever yell or put down a person like he did to me. I will be honest I was only staying at Motel 6 because it was less expensive and we were traveling with others that had a budget. If it wasn't for them I would have booked elsewhere. I called back a couple of days later and spoke with a women who found the rooms that were being held for this wedding in a mater of seconds. She was wonderful so thank you to her:)

We had a clean room and everything was as it should be. We stayed there for the reasonable price. With that said, the toilet did not flush properly (we stayed for 3 nights) the toilet did flush, no problem but it sounded as though it was broken each time you flushed. We were not sure the air conditioner worked properly but we are leaning toward, the strong possibility that it was fine, but the two seniors, trying to regulate it was most likely the problem :) (us) In the morning there was limitless good coffee and truly delicious Tim Horton Muffins! Also, we saw other folks had dogs staying with them. We have 2 dogs but because we can't leave them in our van during hot weather, we had a sitter for them, these other folks made us lonesome for our "babies" :) Still, out shopping or eating it was more liberating to not have them with us this trip. We would certainly stay here again. We like the price and we REALLY like the cleanliness. Thank you Staff!

My family & I currently stayed at Motel 6 in Huntsville, Ontario. The rooms & bathrooms were spacious & clean. Motel 6 was able to accommodate our request for adjoining rooms, late check-out & a one-night booking during high season (other hotels/motels in the Huntsville area would not allow a single evening booking! ). The staff were courteous & professional! Many thanks for a wonderful weekend!

We had a satisfactory stay at your hotel this past week. We've stayed at the Huntsville location before and were very happy that you accommodated us with a smoking room. We were disappointed however that your full hotel non-smoking rule was new but we were happy to have been given a ground floor room close to the back door to where we go outside to smoke. The room was small but the price balanced that for us. The fridge however was very dirty on the inside. Like old food or drink had been spilled inside. The rest of the room was clean but it concerned us when the fridge was so dirty. It took all of ten seconds for us to clean it but why should we have to do your housekeeping? The pool area wasn't nice either. It didn't seem to be as clean as the previous time we had stayed there so we opted to not use the pool. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was satisfactory. The fact that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room was disheartening considering all other hotels we stay at provide that and many times for around the same price for accommodation. The hotel is definitely lacking but it's ok for a quick stay. However we wouldn't stay there longer than one night — but for a cheap relax night while on the road, it works. But please clean the room fridges when you are cleaning the rooms. Thanks all the same.

Great location and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately the owner comes off as very rude but I only dealt with him for about 5 minutes. The staff both at the front desk and the house keeping staff more that make up for this as they were very friendly and helpful and attentive to our needs. Rooms were clean and hotel is maintained nicely. I would suggest for this location a juice and coffee tea station. Other hotels in the area are the same rate as Motel 6 and offer continental breakfast as included in the visit. We enjoyed the Tim's muffins but the addition of a better drink station would make this better.

Motel 6 punches above its price range. True, the rooms are small, but we're only sleeping there. Clean linens, clean bathrooms (genius use of space), cold air conditioning. Nice touch: BBQ in the back yard, coffee and muffins in the morning. Nicer touch: crystal clear heated indoor pool. Even nicer: great water pressure in the bath and shower. Best: Awesome staff. Shout out to Sara for her personality and sense of humour. And thanks to other staff for offering towels to give our bikes a quick wipe. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.

We found Motel 6 very clean and welcoming. The service was great. We had to request two bed rooms for all three rooms and it was done quickly with a smile. The Tim Horton muffins in the morning were fresh and tasty and the coffee was excellent. The room had a nice view. The only thing we missed was a coffee maker and coffee in our room. The pool on the otherhand, was not clean and we could not use it. That was the only complaint we had.

Do not stay here if attending ironman. They will do nothing if there are kids running around screaming at midnight (which there were). Front desk gave a bad attitude and you can find other hotels in the area that will offer much better service. Worst location ever stayed at.

Clean, quiet and great indoor swimming pool! Reasonable price and only a couple minutes from newer restaurants and shopping area off of Hwy. 11 and Hwy. 60.

The staff is amazing, the rooms are awful. I can hear the conversation in the next room as well as their child screaming, crying and hitting the wall. When we are here next year for dance competition I will not be suggesting this hotel.

You kept the lights on! We needed an overnight place that was reasonably priced. We did not expect suite-like experiences or amenities. We got what we wanted: clean room with a comfortable bed, clean washroom, TV in the room and a basic morning coffee and muffin to start the day. We also found friendly, accommodating and courteous staff who answered our few questions and made us feel welcome. We kept within budget and since this was a trip for our ministry work and budget $$ have to go far.

Happy to say no bed bug bits showing up yet. Pool was a good temperature for my 4yr old. Good coffee. Towels were rough enough to sand rust off vehicle. Only complaint.

Stayed their this weekend after a nice afternoon at Arrowhead. The check in was quick, lady at the desk was very courteous and friendly. Room was small but was enough for a good night sleep. They even had full cable. I've stayed at expensive hotels and they only have 10 cheesy channels. Pool area was warm and so was the water. My only complaint about the pool area was that their was no slip resistant strips on the ground by the shower area which is also the entrance to the pool area. It was snowing when we got their and parking lot was covered but by the time we were ready to leave everything was clean and salted. The coffee and muffins in the morning saved me a trip to the coffee shop.

A quiet, clean stay. This is a basic hotel and good value. My second stay at this hotel. Staff was friendly. Coffee and muffins in the lobby area out at 5 am was appreciated as I was heading out at 6 so nice to have something light to start my day! Yes, I could have stayed at a more expensive hotel, but why? I travel a lot and appreciate saving money when I can.

Staff were fantastic. The hotel lobby and guest rooms were extremely clean. The pool was good and warm for achy bodies after a long day! My husband and I had an adjoining room with our four teenage children. We couldn't hear them through the walls! Another pillow each would have been nice. But we also didn't ask. We would return again.

Stayed here for one night during our trip to the Algonquin Provincial Park. When booking this place, I didn't expect the Internet connection and the free breakfast.

Stayed here on business in cold, beautiful, early March 2014. Nice clean motel, comfortable bed, very quiet. Close to food, shopping, etc. I am a light sleeper and professional traveller and would recommend this hotel to friends and fellow travellers.

Me, my husband and my two daughters (10&8 years old) we were staying at Motel 6 Huntsville for the family day weekend. The motel is very clean, rooms also nice and clean, the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Very simple but nice decoration. The price for the stay was worth it the money. I would definitely recommend that motel to others.
