I hope this was the first year this student residence tries out being a hotel during the summer months. They are severely lacking. Bedroom only has a $5 IKEA table lamp to light the room. Only the bathroom and entrance way are properly lit. See attached pic with all the lights on in the whole room. A/C was constantly blowing even though I turned it off. Mentioned it to the front desk and they said they would look at it but 12hrs later and the machine was still going strong and the battery symbol on the thermostat was still blinking so who knows if they even did anything. Tried to overcharge me for the room (not by much but still) so make sure you check before you pay. Bed is extremely firm. Breakfast was good with lots of selection but I'm not a breakfast person so useless for me. I would stay here again if I couldn't find anything else but it is not my first choice by a long shot.
This is an LGBT friendly student residence that is close to Ryerson University. It is clean and affordable for its location in downtown Toronto. There is a Tim Horton's located in the building do students can grab a coffee before class. It is just down the street from a grocery store, so students don't have to worry about travelling far to get some fresh food.

I waited 4 hours for my room. I transfer the rrom and Bedding set (pillow, Duvet, blanket and bed sheets), room lamps and floor lamp, trash bins, and closet hangers. Is a joke… my roommate waited 6 hours for his room but the room is prepared since 8 am…
