Don't get taken advantage of like I did. Don't touch any of the items in or on top of their mini bars. They will say you consumed it, even if you did not. When asked to go reviste their rooms which would confirm that I did not use or consume certian products, I was told pretty much I should use my own judgement. Should have known things were going to go down hill from the time I walked in. I booked this room for my partner and I. Resereved it using my credit card, yet the room was reserved in his name, instead of mine. Which made checking in challenging, until the mistake was realized. Supposenly, the reservations was made by a manager. If managers are messing up, one cannot expect better from staff members, who are not in a managers position. Came out with a hefty bill. Ooh, and how could O forget the horrible view, did not appreciate being stuck in the back of the hotel, and having to stare at a parkinglot.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Toronto. Exceptional service! The hotel could use some updating but was very well maintained. The fitness area is very small but was not busy when I went to work out there in the morning. Breakfast at Signatures restaurant was excellent.

Stayed here over the weekend for my cousins wedding and had a very pleasant stay. Her wedding was right across the street so it was convenient lol. They're at a good location. Being close to University of Toronto, high-end shopping stores, great restaurants both big corporations and smaller name brands, as well as tourist attractions like the CN tower and Aquarium. Our room was pretty big for a 2 bedroom. The bathroom had a shower and a bathtub. Not many hotels have this. At least places that I've been exposed to. The workers are very nice and professional. They give out complimentary water through out the day in the lobby. They also give out cold water bottles at night if you ask. I enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend this place to you all.

Service was not good. It took 2 hours to eat a 3 course dinner, with about half an hour of waiting between every dish. Keep in mind that the dessert was scooped ice cream and frozen (disappointing) key lime pie — prep time 0. Server would forget things and not be seen for a very long time. The restaurant had about 6 tables seated and was doing a buffet style private event at the time. Two steaks were ordered medium rare. One was quite rare, and the other was medium. I'm not sure how you manage that, since they were the same size and cut. Food was tasty but I would not go back.

It's a great small hotel. Hotel staff are super helpful and accommodating. It does need updating and a bigger fitness center in my opinion. Perfect location for the subway and shopping high end shops.

I know I have a new favorite hotel. The rooms are impeccable in the swimming pool is delightful. The concierge took great care of us and the entire staff made us feel special. The limited number of floors is a welcome change for the weary traveler. These guys do it right. Makes me wish I had another business trip to this vibrant metropolis’ best oasis.

Great location but rooms are in serious need of an upgrade. Patched carpets. Painted wallpaper in bathroom. Wallpaper in bathrooms? No water pressure in shower. Lobby smells good though. Also breakfast service was horrible. Took forever for eggs. You stay here for the location. Staff is friendly.

Prime location, next to great retail stores. Rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Service was amazing, very caring.

It is a good hotel but I do not like how the lobby smells. Also you have to pay for the drinking water in your room and there is no toothpaste and toothbrush. Parking is too expensive. However, the crow are friendly and nice.

I just went there for a meeting and had coffee. Great place to meet, talk. Service is good although waiters asked several time about the order. Once placed as we were coming in, then another asked finally the 3rd one. But very relaxing with pleasant atmosphere.

I came to view a panel of speakers in the morning. The tables had glasses and pitchers of water. There was endless supply of coffee outside the meeting room. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Unfortunately, the AV wasnt working well, but it didnt deter too much from the speakers getting their points across. Overall, I was only there for 3 hours but had a good impression so far.

Very nice hotel but dated. Rooms are clean, but again, it's a dated look. If you're looking for a place with a good gym, don't come to this one. The gym is smaller than the standard king size rooms, and does not have a stocked water cooler/drinking fountain. Great staff, however. Very friendly and super helpful with my requests. Would recommend just for location and service, but definitely not for amenities.

Perfect location for doing downtown activities. Also near an amazing Bar called the museum tavern. Certainly a must.

Very nice hotel. Doorman and front desk staff are very friendly. My room was very clean and king bed was quite comfy. My room was wheel chair accessible so came with full size shower instead of bath/shower combo. I ordered a chocolate ice cream and cookie dessert from the room service that was quick and very tasty. I would recommend this hotel to all.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We would stay there again.

We have been going to this hotel at least 2 times a year for the past 10 years now and love it! This Intercontinental hotel is always clean, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary and we will always add it to our booking when it's available! Fresh fruit including dragon fruit, cured meats, yogourt parfaits with granola, pumpkin seeds and fresh blueberries and strawberries. A choice of scrambled or poached eggs with light butter milk pancakes. A lovely sauna that actually works and the pool is salt water on the top floor with a beautiful view. This is really a great place and it's right across from the Royal Ontario Museum!

Room was small, tired, unimpressive but clean. Water was shut off due to a city issue at the worst possible time: when we needed to get ready for our holiday party! That meant no shower, toilet or sink water. This wasn't their fault, as this was city maintenance, but what was really upsetting is that the hotel staff did not come around or call guests immediately. It took a few hours to let us know and by then it was too late. Some guests were left wet, cold and covered in soap from their unfinished shower. They reduced the room price but not without some pushing. It arguably should have been comped entirely considering they did not provide the services that were paid for.

The hotel is usually a bit old, but it is neat and comfortable, and the employees are very nice.

The staff, over Christmas were lovely and helpful. We stayed 4 days, the rooms and linens were clean and well kept. I came down with a cold during my stay and the staff helped me find comfort when I needed soup and tissue in the middle of the night. The desk staff are all helpful and kind. I will come back, and I will recommend to my friends and family.

Very comfortable stay. Polite and helpful staff were excellent. Perfect for a quick stay or long term. Also great neighborhood with transit accross the street and "green p" parking in the garage.

Had a very nice experience. Rooms are clean and cozy. Classic hotel with a modern touch. Downside is that breakfast is not included in ypur stay which is quite surprising for me as its considered a 5 star hotel.

Been staying in this hotel over several years of travel to Toronto. The staff is always really friendly. I enjoy the neighborhood feel of the hotel, as opposed to being downtown. The bar staff is super nice and make me feel welcome! The hotel is quickly becoming outdated and stuck in Mid-90s. Some things which may have been luxuries few years ago, are now very outdated. The most annoying thing about the “luxury” 1). The gym is really dated and cramped; 2). Hotel are the bath products made in China… and 3). The showers Rival Hotel.

Unique and upscale hotel. Rooms are elegant, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The meeting facilities are also upscale and functional. The meals served during the conference were wide ranging and good. Workout facility is a little small, but has a fair amount of equipment and is in good order. Only downside is difficulty getting from the airport to the hotel. Either have to take multiple transits, or one very long taxi/ride share.

Very nice hotel with lots of underground parking with an elevator right into the main lobby. Polite and helpful guest services. Didn't stay the night so can't comment on rooms or pricing.

The hotel location is great. The ROM is right across the street and a Subway entrance is at the end of the block. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel is in very good condition, very clean and excellently located in an area where you have everything nearby (even a Tim hortons:) ) The only detail I had was that the internet is not very good in the rooms away from the elevator and when you report it communicate to a Nume External RO and they charge you the call, without first mentioning that it will have cost. In the end I also had a detail with my account as they did not find my payment. Maybe I'll be back I'm not sure.

Let's start with positive words) Superb location. If your windows don't face the road, you don't hear a single sound from the road. Gigantic rooms, gigantic bathroom (see photos) … although, why would anyone need so much space in a bathroom with cold floors, my imagination fails to help…) ) Overall, the bathroom was designed in a very impractical way, in my opinion, but one can live with it, I guess… What one can't live with is that, considering the price of our room ($400+tax), the bathroom was far from being perfectly clean! In fact, I had to clean the bathtub myself in order to feel perfectly relaxed in it) ) Who wants to make a fuss about dirty bathroom after 6 hours of travelling? In addition, there were long hair on the floor and the ceiling was covered in spots (see pictures). If it would be a $70 motel, I would not say a word, but for a $400+ room, one should expect perfection.

Excellent location (in front of Royal Museum of Ontario), the rooms are spacious and according to what you pay for.

Attended work meetings here for 2 days. Food was relatively good and the staff was efficient with clearing tables. The A. C. In the conference rooms are freezing. Many issues with the AV equipment on our second day (microphone feedback) to the point they ended up turning off the mics and going without. Overall a pretty decent experience. Food at the restaurant was only so-so.

Great location and staff. Room was very nice. **update** At first I had this as 4 stars until I remembered they gave us free umbrellas during a storm.

The bed was the worst part of the room. Stuff as a board. Everything else was nice. However when I got here I had to pull out cash for the room deposit. They said my debut card could not be used as credit when I do this all the time in the united states. Was not too excited about that. Lessons learned but the hotel should have run it as credit.

Another excellent stay at one of our favourite hotels in our favourite city. Friendly staff always ready to help, great room kept in order by Rose (a gem) and excellent food. Just an all round perfect place to stay while in Toronto, even if the Jays couldn’t do better while we were there.

Very slow check in and out. The bag service took a long time to find my bag twice and had to ask me "what does your bag look like? " Otherwise food, lobby and rooms very very nice.

A lovely hotel! The rooms are beatiful and the neighborhood Yorkville is the best one in Toronto, surrounded by the best brands like Tiffany, LV, Gucci, etc. The are a lot of restaurants and bars with the best atmosphere! The staff of the hotel is very friendly! The breakfast is great!

Nice upscale rooms, clean and comfortable. Spacious as well, including the bathroom. Free tea and coffee in the room was appreciated. Nice complimentary items in the bathroom. Minibar snacks and drinks are practical but too overpriced. The person that checked us in at the desk was a pleasure to interact with; very friendly! A great stay overall.

Great rooms! All appliances worked as expected and plenty of outlets for phone and laptop charging with multiple people. Everything else was fine as well, including front desk service and internet. Overall I stayed only one night and did not get to try out all services such as the pool or fitness room, but I highly recommend this hotel as the location was extremely convenient (literally across the street from the royal Ontario museum)

The location was great. It was near Queens Park and a 2 mile walk to the harborfront. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. The room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious, having separate bathtub and shower areas. We had a standard room, which included a minibar as well as bathrobe and slippers. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the hotel was kept in impeccable condition. Room service arrived in a timely manner, and the amount of food was generous.

Charles and I had a great time, I highly recommend this place to everyone! A very clean hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Valet parking at your finger tips. Our room was beautiful, huge, overlooking the court yard which like a little park! Location was perfect, U of T. Just a couple of blocks away. Celebrating a 40 th class reunion and was able to meet up with many people, sub way, and our favourite breakfast place ~ Over Easy minutes from the hotel! Definitely a 4 star!

Spend one night here and was disappointed in the service and the room unfortunately. I arrived at the hotel at check in time and no valet attendants were outside or even came outside. As we had several bags and didn't know the hotel we waited for about 10 — 15 mins and then had to head in to find someone to help us. There was a large check in line with one person only at the front desk it took about 20 mins in line. The room was mediocre and the view of the parking lot not so great. The next morning the service in the restaurant for breakfast was almost non-existent. Lattes arrived cold after 15 mins of waiting, no water and both our orders were wrong. The staff, all of them were very friendly I can certainly say that, the concierge was absolutely wonderful trying to book our dinner reservations. Julie and her counterpart at the desk were the best part of the stay. When we had wanted to check our luggage to go for breakfast and also have the car pulled around, the one gentleman there was very stressed saying he was "slammed" at the moment… we were a tad confused as we were the only guests asking for his help. Although I love Yorkville and the location I won't be staying here again I don't think. My service expectations weren't met this trip.

We requested a room on a high floor away from the elevator and they accommodated us. We had to wait a little bit after the 3:00 check in (which is fine since they did offer us another room). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

InterContinental Toronto Yorkville is a pleasant hotel with all of the amenities one would expect. It has great views of the Toronto skyline as well. However, there is no free Wi-Fi!

Great hotel. Top notch. Pool is nice and Terrance is nice. Parking expensive but it is downtown.

Hotel is quite nice. We were able to check in a few hours early as a room was available. The staff has been great and helpful. Room is decent and has a great view (4th floor south facing). The pool is perfect to do a few laps and the steam room is wonderful for afterwards. Only issue so far is the lack of a fan in the bathroom. I would stay here again.

Fantastic stay at this hotel while in Toronto. Location is ideal, staff are wonderful, pool and gym facilitates are great. Easy walk to great restaurants, shops, bookstores, subway and park with a beautiful backdrop of the historic University buildings. Very safe neighbourhood.

Recently stayed here to enjoy TIFF and I must say the location is great, the facility is great and the people are great. The only issue we had was the restaurant was a little slow during breakfast time, but otherwise job well done.

Comfortable… expensive but worth the cost keeping in view the excellent location … hospitable staff… decent food though breakfast buffet is limited… nice bar… well maintained…

Good hotel. Just don't go to the restaurant for breakfast. It's just average and highly overpriced. They make you pay for coffee (3.75$ for regular-filter coffee). Are you kidding me?

Very clean room. Nice amenities. Staff is what makes this hotel real pleasure to stay in. We also liked the patio at the back and the rooftop pool. Location is great for shopping if you like all of the overpriced name brands. Starbucks nearby is the worst place ever, nice location beside historical church building but staff is very unpleasant and rude. It's well worth walking over to the one on Yonge st. Restaurant in the hotel was deserted, overpriced and not inviting at all. That's why 4 stars only.

Well we booked our hotel through hotwire and the overall experience was good but when we checked out I paid cash to settle the bill, even though I had put down my credit card. One week later and they took 200$ off my credit card! I'm beyond pissed off because now they claim I didn't pay cash even tho I have receipts to prove it and no one will even give me the time of day to fix this problem! hot wire is useless and the hotel staff are useless and I basically just wiped my ass with 400$! get your shit together and fix my problem! I will never return to this hotel as they just robbed me.

After staying at the Marriot further down on Bloor St. Many times. This Holiday Inn was like a bad Hostel! Small cramped rooms (not so clean), old 27" tube TV's, dirty windows, difficult to access WI-FI internet connections, and only two computers/ printers in the lobby (always occupied)! Never again.
