Too many professors are pushing their leftist political agenda. In stead of teaching the course outline. Humber college is not the college it once was. Too many teachers demonstrate a lack of professionalism. And use the classroom for political indoctrination.

WARNING to all who are enrolled elsewhere but schedule written exams at Humber College. My experience with Humber College is minimal, however these brief encounters have negatively impacted me both financially and disrespected my time. I currently take courses online at another institution and have to write my exams at the "approved" location (being Humber). The day of my midterm I arrive early to write my exam on the date and time confirmed in writing by both the exam centre and my University. I was not allowed to write my exam because I already wrote it! Somewhow THEY HANDED THE WRONG EXAM TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO WROTE THEIR EXAM IN MY NAME. After basically having to fight the institution to clear my name (they never apologize), when I showed up fory rescheduled date they had NO IDEA WHO I WAS even though I called ahead of time to verbally confirm. Seriously high school students can manage the examination centre better then the current administration. The best part? I have my scheduled exam there this week. This has been confirmed in writing by both institutions, but when I called they HAD NO RECORD OF MY APPOINTMENT! Respectfully over the phone I had to convince them that yes I did have an exam scheduled + the written confirmation to prove it.

I wasn't ecstatic about this campus. It's nice. The people there were nice. The classes were nice and clean. I attended a Halloween Haunted House event here, yearsss back and I had fun.

Good programs offered here. The campus grounds are beautiful.

I think the experience students have might vary depending on their situation, the degree, diploma or post-grad they want to pursue and who their coordinator is. I have volunteered, received certifications on the side, applied for different jobs (no luck) and built Canadian experience. When you have to do an internship you have two options since you will just get emails and not useful meetings with whoever is in charge of that department (especially if you're an immigrant and/or have to work in order to cover some costs). 1-Work 60-80 hours a week (40 hours of volunteering "that is what is called opportunity nowadays" and 20-40 hours at a basic job). You will probably have physical/mental health consequences but oh well? 2-If you're lucky and have your parents in Toronto and can afford to work for free, there are tons of opportunities especially if you are chosen by the right company (If that is the case, besides your degree, look for official certifications on something related to your field, work on projects and find ways to build your resume in order to increase the opportunity of achieving a good internship). Before the actual Co-op took place (3rd year of summer for those doing a degree), I volunteered full-summer at a company in 2nd year with the expectation that adding more to my resume besides the experience I had with the past jobs in Canada would have helped and of course, I was wrong.

The faculty and administration staff are arrogant, condescending and disrespectful. Daniela Bellicoso, a Psychology 100 teacher, is disrespectful to her students and will complain if a student isn't happy about a grade. She thinks she's right and better than everyone!

Allow me to preface my review by saying that I really like Humber and would recommend the school to anyone. The residence on the other hand… not so much. The rooms are really quite nice, a lot nicer than many residences I have encountered. But it's the meal plan I take issue with. I am a student in residence, which requires me to have a meal plan. This means that for every meal I have to eat at the Lake Cafe (or between the hours of 10-2 on weekdays run across campus and eat in the other building). If I could give less than 1 star I would. My health has taken a pretty severe hit since I've been eating here. Pretty minimal options for healthy food. But that's not the main issue I have. My problem is with the portion sizes. At the beginning of the year we used to be served a lot of food. More than enough to satisfy a person for an entire meal. But starting from about the middle of school year onwards, they have halved the portions and if you so much as ask for more food the staff say no. I've had several staff tell me they are not allowed to offer more food. It was very heavily implied to me that should one of the staff members offer more rice in a Burrito Bowl or give a few more pieces of broccoli in a stir fry, they would face reprimanding from their supervisors. "I don't want to cause any trouble" one worker said with a sullen expression on their face. It really is a sad state of affairs that I desperately wish could be addressed for next years intake of students.

Really not a good school. I've come across multiple problems regarding financial issues and strike withdrawal issues. The lack of service I've received from the school was just awful. Not just that, the math and English centre rarely helped. I was warned coming to this school and I didn't listen. Seriously, go to George brown instead this is just a terrible school with rarely any help for their students, at least from my experience.

Despite what the strike did to the college. I was able to receive quality education after the strike was over. Great Teachers.

The campus is beautiful with the building designs and best of all, it's close to the lake. Most of the professors are caring and show enthusiasm to their students everyday. The Admins are however bad who just want to waste the student's time and money. Cafeterias have offer overpriced & unprepared food. Program Coordinators should be at their office at all times, not being absent 24/7

You have the most rudest students. Im a senior and was on bus 501 lakeshore when about 80 of your students got on at 22nd street yelling, swearing, and drinking. They were like a pile of soccer hooligans I had to get off 14 stops before mine. Im also phoning the TTC. These students are just visiters, I'm a 45 year taxpayer.

Best college in Toronto, probably all of Ontario. I graduated from the Business Administration program. I learned a lot, the teachers are great, campus is beautiful. You wont have the crazy scam BS like the private colleges in the area, avoid them. I highly recommend Humber College. The North Campus isnt as great but the Lakeshore campus is the best. The summer semesters are not so great because its shorter, they might change instructors and some are hard to understand. So try to avoid North campus during summer. Make sure you know what you want to learn. The one thing I would change is they should provide more software courses and technical courses for this program besides Microsoft Office. I will be returning to study IT because of the very competitive job market demands of IT skills.

The Lake saves you from all your dilemmas! What a wonderful experience it is to be here.

I love humber collage. Can humber collage give tha admision after matric mean grade 10. I wish I start grade 11 in humber collage.

The campus is incredible! They are improving it and the nature around make it unique!

Been a student in the B commerce program in my 3rd year. Very impressed by the ease of finding my class good Wi-Fi. I always enjoy walks to the lake. It is an excellent environment to learn and the campus is growing! It is important to mentiona however that the campus needs to add a second book store. Also the A building can be modernized further right now it sort of resembles a highschool esp the music hallways. Overall great experience definately recommend this.

I was very impressed with the Lakeshore Campus of Humber College. It is located right on Lake Ontario. It is a little out of the way to get to — either by bus or street car. The campus was alive with students walking to and from class. I image it would be cold in the winter to go from class to class as it was a brisk spring day and it was cold with the breeze coming off the lake. — A Richard Trus review.

Beautiful campus. The cottages are nice surrounding grass and tree's. L building looks modern and very clean. Great college.

Definitely one of the few colleges that actually have a campus rather than just being in one building. It was a good experience being a student. However, the tuition for a year of studies could be lower and some teachers should be nicer.

Really love my experiences there.
