Do not book this hotel. Our room smelled moldy and musty. The carpet was wet from about 3' from the air conditioning. The bathroom mirror was held up with duct tape. There was no hot water in the sink. The faucet was broken and would not turn off, despite only a trickle of water coming out. When I asked at the front desk to change rooms we were given a can of air spray to solve the problem. Over all the hotel is old, dingy, and in need of an entire renovation. We could not wait to get out of there. It was by far the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. Photos: leaky broken sink, mirror held up by tape, air freshener level customer service.

It’s an ok place to lay your head for the night, but it could use some maintenance and perhaps a full remodeling. The shower head in my room was moldy, the walls had brackets where I presume art once adorned the room, and the room smelled like it was abandoned for weeks. The carpet and entry area of my room reminds me of The Shining. Not something a hotel wants to emulate. On a more positive note: the room was among the quietest I’ve slept on. Perhaps it was the great insulated walls. I presume the hotel was booked solid since the parking lot was almost maxed out close to midnight on a Friday. The receptionists were nice enough and respectful. Overall, it was an “okay” experience for a budget hotel to sleep for the night and nothing more.

I think this would have been a great hotel when it opened in the 90's or early mid 2000's, today however it is full of neglect and hygiene issues. Save yourself a bad experience and stay somewhere else.

Clean and simple. However, got a smoking room by accident and it smelled like an ashtray. Had no idea "smoking rooms" we're even legal.

Room was decent and clean. Breakfast was included and had warm sausage, eggs and waffles. Coffee wasn't great.

Good service but the avitacion was not in good condition and there were people working and giving hammering in the early morning and we could not rest.

We were put in a smoking room, which was not requested… it smelled terrible. The outside of the building is super sketchy and not many people were staying there when we were there at the beginning of May. Won't be staying there again.

Nice clean. But the continental breakfast was not the greatest. Food that was supposed to be warm was cold.

Rooms are ok, beds are comfy. Breakfast is sufficient, customer service (night) was not the best.

Honestly come here if you enjoy bedbugs and horrid service. Check under your mattress and behind the picture frames. Those splotches are from blood. Trying to get our money back was near impossible.

Great hotel very quiet with very friendly people I recommend free lunch.

The place is comfortable. The attention is not bad but they do not strive to make you feel welcome.
They charged 50, 000 to get extras that for services.

I had a great experience staying here. Great friendly staff, nice and quiet rooms, great price. The free breakfast is also a nice bonus. I will definitely stay here again.

Its alright but nothing fancy. The rooms are dirty with other people's hair on towels and bathroom floor. Bob at the front counter is rude.

I'm giving this 4 stars not because it's a 4 star hotel but for the price you get a decent place to stay. It's not fancy, the breakfast isn't that great and the coffee in the rooms is horrible. That being said they have a coffee machine downstairs which has decent coffee (considering) throughout most of the day I believe. The beds are comfortable enough and they have newish TV's (all flat panel around 27" or so). The people are friendly enough and I haven't run into any issues with partying or really loud people. They also have Wi-Fi which works in all the rooms (I'm always on the 3rd floor which I assume would be furthest away from the Wi-Fi router and never have problems) and while not incredibly fast does the job. I've stayed at another Days Inn and the beds were hard as a rock and the rooms looked older and a bit dirtier so I always stay at this one now. I have chronic back pain and the beds here don't bother me at all. Overall you can't really expect much better when you are getting the room for about $90 a night.

Its ok went there one night getting ready for bed I finley get in bed and noticed a big lump in the and her it was the guest from the night befoe dirty shirt. Was not impressed and I told the staff at the front desk and he basically said what do you want me to do very rude.

Unless you enjoy a nice case of bed bug bites all over your body, DO NOT stay at this hotel. Rooms seemed clean enough on first glance, but after staying one night there I had bites all over me, terribly uncomfortable and I had to go to an urgent care medical clinic to get a shot to deal with the severe inflammation, as well as medication to combat it. "Free hot breakfast" was extremely limited as well, and the hallways wreaked of cigarette smoke. While the access into and out of downtown Toronto was nice, there is no way I'll stay here again, and I'd encourage all others to do the same.

Great beds. Good staff. Good location. First room we were in smelled strongly of marijuana. Had to request a different room.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Was packed, however, with it full I had to stay in a smoking room. Worst sleep I have had. Long black hair left in the bathtub.

The suite isn't worth the upgrade. My partner and I wouldn't step foot in the whirlpool tub. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The whole place had a smell. The room was rundown. The service was adequate. The plumbing rumbles through the walls loudly. Was not a great experience.

Very little parking for a large hotel. Rooms were very clean and tidy… however… the pillows were the size and shape of chair cushions. And the free breakfast was… well… it was free. The staff at the counter were not very friendly at all.

2 starts because location was convenient, easy to get to from downtown Toronto. The hotel itself does not look bad from the outside but the room smelled awful when we got in, lots of the fixtures and appliances were dirty. But we got there late and left early, it was ok enough for the price and for one night of sleep, even though I didn't get much sleep as the mattress and pillows were not very comfortable.

Our stay was fine. Room was ok but not very clean and looks old. The breakfast was good enough. The hotel is not bad but needs renovations and more cleanliness.

Horrible old goes and come the night dealer on smell weed.

Came in late at night with a 3 year old boy. Female at the front desk wouldn't let me check in because of my id. I had a health card. No where on emails or website does it say you need id to check in let alone what they take. She didn't care that at 1am I was wondering the streets of a city I don't know with my toddler! I would love to bring that woman up on child endangerment charges! The police had to be called and I had an escort to a hotel that I had to pay a lot more money for because it was last minute. Had to cut my trip short and come home early because I couldn't afford another night. She completely ruined my vacation and put me and my son in serious danger!

Less comfortable bed. Dry and non-warm Service.

Not bad for the price. On the other hand there was not enough bath towel in the room and the window did not open.

The rooms are affordable but very obsolete. Ours smelled a lot of moisture. There was mould in the bathroom, on the ceramics but also on the shower curtain. The lunch included is a continental. The kids enjoyed being able to waffles.
Gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. He guided us well with public transportation to get to downtown.

Everything would have been O. K. EXCEPT that we came back with BED BUGS. Never never will I return in this hotel.

Impeccably kept, comfortable, friendly service. Very pleased.

Room was clean and staff was very courteous. The free breakfast was not good. The eggs had no flavor and I think they were the powder type. The waffle iron was old and the waffle stuck to the iron. I guess for "free" you get what you pay for but I have stayed at other Days Inns and they were all better than this one.

Satisfactory stay, clean & comfortable.

The hotel was nice. My first impression was not the best but the staff made up for it. The room beside us was making alot of noise and we barely slept. When I mentioned it at checkout they gave me a 20% discount for next time. Not what I was looking for but certanly showed that even a big chain like this cares about their guest. Satisfied with the customer service but renovations are needed for sure.

Worst hotel service ever. We got there and our reservation was wrong instead of helping us the manager was mean and charged us even the double. He didn't try to help us at all, in the end we went to another hotel and got refunded by the company. I've never seen a service so poor and a manager that doesn't even want to talk it out. Avoid this place at any cost.

Nice place with nice staff and good breakfast food for free, including eggs and chicken sausage. This is my new go-to hotel every time I visit Toronto.

Nothing. After waiting for 20 minutes for the family in front of us to check in we were told we were in a non smoking room on a smoking floor. My sister called 2 days previous to verify that our room was non smoking because of an allergy. He told her to check out the room. My sister said that there was no point because she has an allergy and the smell will affect her breathing so there was no point in going in the room to turn around and come back down. After this conversation went back and forth a couple of times he was able to "find a room" for us. Which smelled funny but didn't affect my sister. It is also a sketchy looking hotel in a sketchy area of Toronto. Good thing we were only there for one night! Never again!

Considering the name of the hotel, we expected a lake view, just finding out the hotel is "very far from the river" according to the receptionist. Staff service is really bad. The person at the front is rude and isn't willing to help.

Perfect considering the price you pay. I'll stop there again if I have the opportunity too. Diligent staff.

Atrocious service. Fat brown dude at the reception is downright rude. I politely made a perfectly reasonable request and he kept on saying I should have asked earlier. He made no attempt to help me at all. His tone made me want to punch his face in.

We arrived today and up to here everything this well was easy to get, and we've been able to rest well.

Our room smelled strongly, the walls are very thin, neighbors and elevator were omnipresent, every other review here is a fake!, parking was free, area was quiet, public transport links via bus to the Metro (or $4-parking fee)
* Price: 3-for a night (90 CAD) is OK, more screwed up one of the memory of the great city of Toronto
* Total: This is classic run. Take better still a piece out and a B&B with a really friendly touch. We got three evenings very reluctantly by the city tours back in the hotel.
