Haven Motel Inn

I think for a motel, Haven Motel is acceptable. They have a bathing facilities with ample towels and soap. However the room is equipped with little. There are only 3 plastic cups. No kettle or tea bags. Beds are comfortable and aircon is ok. Overall a good 2 days stay.

We are a family of 4 and stopped here for an overnighter to break up our journey. Easy access to QEW and US/Canada border. As other reviewers note, the Haven Motel is indeed dated, but well maintained and clean and the staff are pleasant. No breakfast included (but not something we needed). There is a diner next door, but we were up at 7am and nothing in the area was open at that time except for Tim Hortons. We will certainly keep this place in mind for other trips.

Room smells, no air conditioning (we were told they don't turn it on until June), no coffee machine or plastic cups for water… the list goes on. I won't make this mistake again.

Great inexpensive place to stay. Very clean and cozy. Towels are a little small. Will definitely stay here again.

It is dated true. However, very well maintained. Owners were friendly. This reminded me of movies from the past. I enjoyed. Close to lake erie. Quiet place.

I paid for the freezing room, owner treat me good, room ok, blanket not washed after every use, so he didn't charge me for 25$, he changed me 78$ so for one night, I want relax and get good sleep because of freezing room, I couldn't sleep well. This is a reason I give one star. Doesn't matter 1$ or 100$ I paid I need reasonable needs of my money. So because of this I had sleepless night.

I had family emergency and needed a reasonably priced room. This room was very clean, quiet with basic amenities. Owners were very kind and very helpful. I would stay here again.

Rundown motel yes, very sketchy people. Leaky bathtubs. Broken sinks.

This little hotel dosnt have much but it is accross the road from a beer store, 2 minutes walk to a Tim Hortons as well as a Wendys restaurant. There is also a gas bar for late nite snacks and such. The owners of the Haven are very nice people and will always do their best to make sure you are happy. Locol attractions also include the old fort, learn about the battle of 1812 in a very cool guided tour, you can also find Waverly beach, Ridgway and Crystal beach for swimming in the summer or fun winter hikes! the beauty is all around. The Haven may not be much but it has always been the best hotel to stay at for visits back home. Friendly and comfortable, clean rooms. Cheers!

Clean but very dated. Limited cable channels and no Wi-Fi. Good rest stop place for a motorcycle ride.

Clean and neat. Good place to stop for the night. Outdoor Pool is kept up and clean. Friendly service. Beds are a little hard for my taste.

I was a little disappointed in the room for the price I paid. The rooms around we're somewhat loud, and the room had a somewhat damp feel. It definitely could have been worse for a motel, but was just disappointed from the price paid.

Exactly what we needed it to be … CLEAN… CLEAN! Rating is on cleanliness. Stayed after friendship festival so we didn't have to drink and drive. Good choice.

The whole experience was like sleeping in your buddy's Grandma's basement. Owners were pleasant and accommodating, the room was clean and welcoming. But everything was dated and had that look, though it was in surprisingly good shape. From the wallpaper to the bedspread to the burgundy toilet.

Good price and very close to the bridge. Rooms were ok, clean but had a weird smell. Was only given a hand towel. Good for short visits.

We Really like it. Both husband and wife are really nice and helpful and rooms are clean. Near to Niagara falls, 9nly 20 mins away.

A very good motel for a reasonable price. The first day we arrived near 23:00 (check in ends at 22:00). I called ahead to let them know we were running late and they waited for us. The owners are very nice people and willing to help. I recommend it!

Very clean! Step back in time with furnishings. The owners are a husband and wife. They take care of all the cleaning ect. Very nice friendly couple. Highly recommend!

The place is not too bad it is very quite and not busy. Would be better if they tell u before entering ur room to clean it if u go out (all my stuff and kids stuff was in the room while I was out) then I ask for more toilet paper and he says yes yes ill bring u some and NEVER did. Poor review but nice quite.
