My husband, son, and I had a lovely stay! The staff were warm and friendly.
I felt like covid protocols were followed well, everything was very clean and I never once worried.
Also, even with construction outside we didn't have any noise issues at all!
Our room was lovely, there was lots of room for our son's playpen, and our beds were so comfy.
I would highly recommend and will be staying here again.

Stayed there for first time with my husband and it was an Awesome experience! Very friendly staff, beautiful room and spacious. I will definitely be back!

Of all the hotels I have stayed in under the Choice Hotels banner, this is the very best! Front desk staff were efficient and friendly, our room was spacious as well as the bathroom area. Real mugs with the coffee machine in our room. Metal utensils in the breakfast area — not plastic! Breakfast was outstanding in variety and quality. Highly recommend!

Staff went above and beyond. I cannot say enough about this place. Pool was awsome. Clean clean clean rooms. Breakfast and the lady who served it were amazing, it felt like I was staying with friends. The lady at the front desk actually loaned me her personal hair straightener when I forgot my own. Will definitely be back.

Jessica is THE BEST! Love staying at this hotel, it’s like coming home. Always clean, comfy and enjoyable. The staff is the friendliest I’ve ever seen and make each trip seem like a little reunion. Lol Best free continental breakfast EVER.

We visited Halifax from Burlington On and chose to stay at this hotel for 4 nights because of the location for our base and the pool. All amenities at this location were functional even though there was construction going on in the parking lot next door. The room was clean and very spacious for our family, and the breakfast was always done just right. We had a great stay, with a couple nights swim and one night even did laundry, which was so helpful for a family of four. Will go again for sure.

Great place to stay Room was very comfortable and spacious The staff were fantastic, friendly, manager was very nice and talked to guests in the breakfast area. Breakfasts are buffet style and lots of choices. Free DVDs. Highly recommend this hotel.

Super friendly staff. Very helpful. Breakfast each morning was first class. Lots of healthy options. Very reasonable for price. Currently renovation so a bit of construction but barley noticed.

Our room was huge and had a very comfortable bed, but the hotel was very busy and thus noisy. Their quiet hours seemed to cut back on screaming children running up and down the hall. However, later when I called the front desk to complain about a neighbor playing guitar badly, the front desk didn't even pick up the phone. Luckily, we travel with earplugs.

We were very pleased when we went to check in and were upgraded to a deluxe room free of charge. The hotel was clean, breakfast was great and the pool was warm.

The rooms are super clean, the breakfast is everything you need to start your day.
The restaurant and bar on site is a bonus and the pool and Sauna was always clean and tidy.
If it was possible to give you 10 stars, trust me I would.

I travel a lot for work and this hotel is probably one of the best I've stayed at. Staff at front desk is amazingly friendly, rooms are big and clean and they do have a pretty decent breakfast! Otherwise parking might be a bit small!

Lovely new facility. Super clean, cozy beds, amazing breakfast. Typically I stay at any choice hotel branded hotel, so I can say from experience, this one is 100% worth your stay. Close to all shopping places, and central to the highway. My stay here was for business and I didn't get to enjoy the pool, movie rentals, or gym, so no feedback can be left for these amenities. There is a restaurant /bar attached to the hotel, which we enjoyed a few drinks each night. Fab service.

The staff of the hotel ensure your stay is a fantastic experience from the time you book your reservation until you check out. The hotel and its facilities are modern, well appointed and comfortable. The provided breakfast is delicious and the location is perfect for those travelling from out of town who prefer not to stay in the downtown core. Would highly recommend the hotel to those needing a comfortable, clean and affordable accommodation as well as those looking for an event space. We’ll be back!

Without a doubt the best place to stay in Halifax. The hotel is not located downtown but it is very conveniently close to shops, restaurants and movie theater. The rooms are super clean, very big and on top of it, you can borrow movies at the front counter and relax in your room. What sets this place apart though is the absolutely incredible staff. I have never been disappointed by any of them and they are always ready to go the extra mile for you. When I have to travel for work, which is somewhat often, this place feels like a second home.

The room and restaurant were wonderful, if I had known about the pool, sauna and hot tub I would have spent the evening there. Wonderful place to stay.

Halifax Bayer's lake. News years Eve great time dinner was very nice and dance was excellent.

We attended the New Year's Eve dinner and dance event and it was top rate. Check in was easy; room large, clean and comfy; excellent staff — friendly and knowledgable; breakfast one of best buffets ever for this type of hotel (good variety, warm, clean and replenished often). As for the event itself, the room was beautiful decorated, food was great and band excellent. My only complaint would be the music was far too loud. During dinner, when you are trying to converse, I had to scream at all my table mates. Toning it down would have made it much better especially while eating. It remained loud for the dancing and my eardrums felt like they were going to burst at one point. I find this is always the case and one of the main reasons we have stayed home on New Year's Eve in years gone by. It's too bad as great music and take takented singers but hard to enjoy when you can hardly hear yourself think let alone speak.

I really love this hotel. The rooms are a nice size so is the washroom. The bed is comfy. They have a big DVD library to watch a movie and the breakfast is the best free breakfast I've had. One of my favorite hotels I've stayed at in Atlantic Canada.

We were attending a wedding. The food was good the location was nice and the venue was really nice.

Excellent hotel customer service! The front desk receptionist working yesterday morning was so accommodating that she allowed me to store my store bought lobsters in the hotel's refrigerator (before leaving for Toronto the next day). The rooms were very clean and continental breakfast had a lot of options. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit Halifax again :)

Clean! Clean bathroom, clean furniture, even clean ac filters! comfortable bed. Best complimentary breakfast ever had… real eggs! Stay here, nothing better, 15-20 minutes from downtown Halifax… price is great!

Exceptional staff. The room was large and very clean. The included breakfast has lots of options. We didn't check out the pool or fitness room. But they looked good.

Consistently good value from comfort Inn and this is no exception. Nice big room, larger than usual. Comfortable beds though the room was a bit loud due to the neighbours. Amenities were more than expected with a pool and free hot breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Chain Lake Dr location in Halifax NS, in the Jacuzzi room. Lady at the counter was awesome and quite attentive. The view… not great as it's a commercial park but no big deal. Has great shopping within a short walk or even shorter bus. Not to mention a nice adjoined restaurant and bar; and two fast food places within a minutes walk. The room itself was quite nice. Very comfy bed with an amazing Jacuzzi right in the center of the room. (Fits two easily and I'm 6'1")

The rooms were big and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. My son enjoyed the pool. Our only suggestion would be that it would have been nice to have a hot tub on site. Otherwise the stay was great and I would recommend the hotel!

The staff at this hotel is absolutely wonderful! They really make your stay feel extra special. I have been here for three weeks and feel like family. They have done everything possible to make my stay as pleasant and accommodating as they can. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The hot buffet breakfast is a great compliment to your stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. An extra thanks to Patrick, Jessica, Nimfa, and Saul.

We had a great time at the hotel, breakfast was yummy! But the pool had way to much chlorine our kids had reactions to it.

Spacious room and fantastic breakfast included. We found the pool had a little too much chlorine as our kids said their eyes were burning afterward.

Good hotel… not downtown but location is good… good breakfast and great staff… can't complain… rooms are spacey.

I was there for a buisness trip and everything went well, good confort, good services, nice room, Wi-Fi running well and it's near the highway. Not expensive!

4.5/5 Stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite. Lovely room service. They left cookies and followed the instructions left while booking perfectly. Breakfast was decent. The Jacuzzi is a little hard to get working and my partner found the pillows uncomfortable.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and polite. The room was very clean and looked good. I thought it strange that the king size bed had a plastic matress protector on it. It definitely took away from the room. My issues started when I arrived at my room late after work, looking to go to bed. The guests next to me were extremely loud and despite calling front desk they continued into the morning hours. Falling asleep at almost 2am they were still loud. Waking up at 5am for work their TV was still quite loud. I doubt very much I would stay here again and will share this information with my employer.
