There was a dirty towel in our bathroom, the fridge was super noisy in our room, I called before booking about breakfast and was told it was a hot continental breakfast. It was a box of a preschoolers lunch items in a fridge downstairs, nothing warm at all. When I spoke to the person at the front desk they said there’s nothing we can do for you.

One of my favorite places to stay. Love the bottom floor with a patio doos which is convenient when unloading your vehicle. Because of Covid 19 they 2 boxed breakfasts. I chose the one with a breakfast sandwich, fruit cup, orange juice, cereal bar and yogurt. They had no milk for those who drink tea but that’s an easy fix and salt and pepper would be nice on my sandwich. Very friendly and accommodating staff c.

We have experienced the best service of any hotel we’ve stayed at. My husband has workers staying here from Ontario and I can’t thank Deanne Williams enough! Her assistance and the efforts (at the front desk) she’s gone to for us has been nothing less than amazing! She has come through in every way and did it all with a smile even though I’m sure she wanted to throw her hands up more than once! Lol Deanne, we can’t thank you enough! You’ve gone above and beyond. You are truly amazing!

Terrible service. Check-in was at 3, but when we showed up, neither of our rooms were ready. We had to wait an hour for one room to be cleaned and then another 2 hours for the second room to be ready. Absolutely ridiculous, offered no commendation or even an appology. Would not recommend this place under this management. That being said, the rooms are very nice and very clean.

Good value for the price. Breakfast was decent as far as "free" breakfasts go. A little out of the way if the purpose of your visit is to experience what Halifax has to offer, but in our case it was just a stop for us on our way to the North Sydney Ferry.

Clean rooms which were spacious and nice, hotel staff was a bit rude however and asking for extra cups or anything else from front desk was like pulling teeth. Otherwise the stay was pleasant. If you don't plan on interacting with staff at all this is a decent place.

Except the strong smell of cleaning product when entering the room everything was great the staff are friendly the complimentary breakfast area was clean and very well maintained. We'll definetely come back if we need to!

The non smoking room was musty and smokey smelling. Our two bed room was one bed and a pull out sofa. They said they had no 2 bed rooms left. So we cancelled without any issues.

Rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. Hotel has been renovated and has a nice fresh feel to it. Continental breakfast has a nice selection.

Clean and economical. The rooms have been updated so that they appear new, but it is important to get a room with queen beds, not doubles. The double bed mattresses are old, too firm, and really need to be upgraded. The queen bed mattresses have been replaced recently and are comfortably firm with a pillow top. The queens are really quite nice. The hearing/cooling system can be a problem as well because there is no thermostat in the room or on the machine. You have to guess at the right level of heating or cooling (not using temperature, just a dial) and make adjustments when you get too warm or cold. It is also noisy because it is old. Breakfast is pretty standard continental except that there is one lady who undercooks the scrambled eggs and the result is a gross egg slop. Otherwise the breakfast is as-expected. Windmill Rd location is not amazing but the parking lot is extremely well-lit and has cameras. I stayed here for 7 nights over several weeks and had no problems. Not much activity around the hotel at night. The hotel seems to be mostly used by people travelling for work. I brought my child for a few days of my work trip but literally saw no other children in about seven nights of staying here. No pool, so a bit of a bummer for kids. No fitness room either, but it is cheap and clean so I suppose it fits the bill for work trips.

Clean, friendly, comfortable secure entrance. Breakfast was fine but busy for such a small space, vehicle is highly recommended as transit is typical city.

I did not really spend much time in my room. I had a good sleep.

All right, they accept even large dogs.

Bedding was excellent, crisp white sheets and pillow cases. Pillows were fluffy not flat. Rooms were clean with nice furniture. Breakfast was typical but better than some I've stayed at, coffee was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet, got a good sleep both nights. There is a bar/restaurant, Chinese restaurant and a donair/pizza place across the street, that's it if you have no vehicle.

Love the free breakfast and the rooms were clean. In my experience, customer service varies by location.

Jan 29 2018 note, no water in pool. Decent economy hotel. Restaurant on first floor is also decent. Must call airport shuttle from airport information booth or call direct from cell.

Christine on the desk offered excellent customer service, good room, have had better, and much worst, breakfast was great would diffently recommend, and would stay again no problem.

When we checked in the man waiting on me made me felt more then comfortable, he was making jokes with me and my 9 year old and I loved how he went the extra step in making sure our stay would be the best possible! Wasn't planning on the whole family being with me so it was great when he was able to upgrade my room without any fuss!. Breakfast could have had more of a selection as there wasn't anyone refilling the items (such as English muffins, bagels, etc) overall though I would definitely stay here again, sometimes it's just that first impression!

I was very pleased with my stay … Value for money 5… Breakfest 5… front desk service 5 plus… cleanliness around the room was a 5 but there was a odor that would meet us at the door but after we entered lol it disappeared or we got used to it … There was a few places near to eat. And mintutes away if you are driving for shopping… Thanks again the Deanne and the three guys I met at the front desk (sorry I didn't get your name) This hotel is comfortable and all a person needs when travelling on a budget with fridge microwave coffee maker and good Wi-Fi.

We have stayed at the Dartmouth comfort Inn for the past few years when going to Halcon and it has always been great. Friendly staff, clean rooms and breakfast to boot. Always recommend it :)

Nice though space reduced.

Though our room got moved from the first floor to second floor when we booked ahead by six months this hotel is amazing. They have wonderful staff and excellent service. They are there when you need them most and when you need them least. They leave pillows of all types for you to choose from and their beds are very cozy. I would for sure come and stay here if I'm in Dartmouth again.

We were very pleased with our visit. The outside of the hotel is a bit dated, but inside had obviously had renovations. The room was lovely, and they were kind enough to provide a cot for our daughter. We slept in and missed breakfast, but the breafast area looked nice. A great visit and a great hotel for the price!

Convenient location in Dartmouth, we checked in with two dogs after a long week of driving across the country and the check in was fast and very friendly. We were able to park right outside our ground floor room, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. Slept great, and breakfast in the morning was great! Strongly recommend this place for a stop in Dartmouth.

Basic, clean, nice staff, pet friendly and complimentary breakfast. Rooms have access to parking lot which made it easier on us as we are just moving into the city and had a lot of boxes to bring in. Great for its price and will definitely stay here again.

Pretty solid for the rate. Best feature is probably location. Bridge to Halifax is right there. Room was clean, and hot breakfast had okay variety for a reasonably priced motel. AC/heater was functional.

Clean, quiet, attractive room and facility. Everything functioning properly in our room. Prompt, friendly staff. Surprisingly delicious breakfast bar incl. I would recommend and return. An excellent 2-star motel.

Comfort Inn Halifax on Bedford Hwy was by far the nicest comfort Inn I have ever been too! Had a unique look and felt super homey. Loved the note left by house keeping also!

Nice rooms small but cozy lobby, good staff, right across from a bar. A very good comfort inn well done.

Always staying at Hampton Inn, all over North America, me and my husband! We have a comfortable bed and a great breakfast! Unfortunately, the trip was really disappointing. We have never seen so many extra charges before. $. 50 a small bag of fries and a small pot of cola for $. 50. (Not even a bottle of 750 ml) and then the $ $ each month they didn't tell us to check in, but obviously it was in our confirmation email (who will read the confirmation unless you need to check in) we're not staying in Hampton Halifax!

I loved everything about it the rooms were kept very clean, the staff at the desk was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area, the cleaning staff were positive and always smiling, thank you to everyone who helped make it such a great time. I would definitely stay there again and recommend the as the first option for a place to stay while in Halifax.

A fellow named Tim was working when I checked in on Sat Sept 21/2014. He was absolutely outstanding. His demeanor was professional, dignified but somehow very warm and friendly. I felt he really went out of his way to help me even though he was INCREDIBLY busy. Talk about grace under pressure. Also, Tim was extremely courteous to his fellow employees! To Tim: Thanks for making my stay so enjoyable. To Tim's employer : you have an extremely valuable resource in this young man.

I've been going here for the past year. They treat you well. Remember you. Great breakfast buffet. Just an awesome location with a beautiful view. Also very pet friendly for us animal lovers.
