We absolutely loved our stay, the atmosphere was so nice, it was meticulously clean and beautifully decorated. Enjoying a delicious breakfast while we watched whales in the harbour was a highlight and Judy was the perfect hostess, we would definitely come back again.

A wonderful B&B experience. Clean and spacious with a beautiful private bathroom. The food was amazing! I loved that the foods were typical of NL. However, it was the kindness of the owners that really appealed to me. Judy provides great guidance into some great photography areas in the near vicinity. Thanks for making our vacation amazing!

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Bayside Bed and Breakfast. Judy and Basil were very welcoming and attentive, and the breakfasts were delicious and varied. The B and B is located in a beautiful setting, the views in particular from the dining room are amazing. We can also recommend the crab dinner. The rooms are very comfortable and the cleanliness was excellent. We would recommend this B and B to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts Judy and Basel were friendly and welcoming. Their beautifully decorated home was clean, comfortable and cozy with a million dollar view of 2 bays from the dining area. Even saw whales in the bay while having breakfast and after dinner. The common room felt inviting to sit and relax and had coffee, tea and snacks available. Pleased with our bedroom and bathroom which were clean, modern and comfortable. Attention to the small details like 2 luggage stands, robes and mini fridge with carafe of artesian water and plenty of shelf space made it exceptional. So glad we selected the optional dinners as well (mussels and the snow crab with cod bites with salads). Absolutely delicious and fresh. We enjoyed this place so much that we decided we wanted to stay another night. Fortunately they had one vacancy and we could extend our stay. This allowed us to enjoy another mussel dinner and the moose pie. Judy prepared a very yummy and varied breakfast for each morning which was filling and beautifully presented. I imagine during the warmer months it would be enjoyable to sit in the back yard or deck as well. If we are fortunate enough to come back to Newfoundland, we would definitely like to stay here again. We highly recommend this B&B.

Beautiful little B&B with comfortable rooms, friendly hosts and great food. Definitely get the crab dinner — it is made on-site and is so fresh. Judy and Basil made us feel welcome and at home, even though my honey wasn't feeling well and the weather kept us indoors. The wood fireplace was a nice touch. We just wish we had more time to spend there. Will definitely be back on our next trip out to Nfld!

Words cannot describe the amazing experience we had at Bayside B&B during our travels in Newfoundland but I will try. Judy and Basil were the consummate hosts providing clean and spacious accommodations with attention to detail anticipating our every need. We were always given top notch service for every occasion during our visit. Nothing was left to chance with Judy's care! Judy's breakfasts were gourmet quality as we were always treated to excellent varieties of surprising delicious breakfasts — not your typical B&B style … They were unforgettable because her care in their prep was first class! At times, we forgot that we were at a B&B … not a 5 star restaurant! Then to top it off Basil worked his culinary magic and prepared an incredible supper of crab and the fixings which went with it for my wife and I during one of the evenings of our stay … That meal was equally memorable thanks to Basil teaching us how to use the proper tools to get the meat from the crabs… Wow… My wife and I have been to many B&B's in our lifetime but on a scale of 1-10 most of the better ones were perhaps an 8 or 7.5. Well, I can tell you that Judy and Basil are way above the mark because they sincerely spoil you by catering to you from the time you enter their beautiful house to the time you leave… Rarely would my wife and I give a 10 to a B&B… but believe us when we say that Bayside B&B is a10-a solid 10! P. S.

Just finished a couple of nights break at the Bayside. In short it is excellent! The food was fantastic, if staying here you must have the Crab Dinner. Both Judy and Basil made us fell so at home during our stay. We stayed in a few B and B's during our Newfoundland trip and by far the Bayside was the best! We will certainly be back!

Stayed in several B&Bs whilst traveling round Newfoundland — this was the best by miles. Great rooms in a stunning location, with fantastic breakfasts. Best of all, you'll be really made to feel at home by the friendly, helpful owners.

Great overall experience! The Bayside B&B has a breathtaking view, the owners were so nice and accommodating, it was a pleasure spending time there. The rooms/bathrooms were nicely furnished and super clean. And lastly the food there made me want to stay there for another night just to get another taste.

The crab dinner is amazing and the hosts are very friendly. High likelihood of a return visit.

My fiancé and I stayed at the B&B for 1 night. We were very impressed with the decor, cleanliness and originality. It's a beautiful place and the owners were lovely and accommodating. We asked for a late check-out because we were attending a wedding and they had no issues with this, they even let me eat my breakfast late, which I appreciated! I highly recommend this B&B if you're in the area. P. S. The location couldn't be more perfect!
