Note: This "hotel" goes by multiple names. -The Shores Inn & Hotel -Four Seas Mon Chalet Parlee Beach being the one where we unfortunately booked. Upon arrival, we were very confused on where to check in, this would be due to the fact they have so many names. At check in Julie gave us the run down, explaining the rules, no smoking, not to break anything, and don't lose the key. Easy, none of us smoke, and we are here for a relaxing weekend. We get into the cabin to find hairs on our sheets, dirty floors, TV wouldn't work, Wi-Fi wouldn't work, empty liquor bottles in the cupboards, the microwave was filthy, the furniture was dirty, etc. The place was a dump. We seen about getting a refund to be told it wasn't possible because we booked with Expedia. They offered us another cabin, when we checked that one out it was equally as gross AND smelled like cigarette smoke. We explained to Julie that we were going to just stay with the cabin we were in as we had the beds made with our own blankets and our stuff was there. We decided to call Expedia to get a refund, they needed to call the hotel in order to get a refund. Julie then lied to them about what happened and told them we couldn't get a refund. A few minutes later, Julie shows up at our door and aggressively demands the key for the cabin and tells us we have ten minutes to leave. After attempting to confirm a refund, she yelled, swore at us, and accused us of being drunk.
