Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Saint John Hotel

The rooms were fine, the bed was nice. The shower was okay, the hot water was nice. The room was tidied up each day, and the rooms don't seem to carry sound through the walls badly at all. Free breakfast options includes coffee, tea, bagels, bread, plus a toaster, a waffle maker with a batter dispenser, instant oatmeal, muffins, Honey Nut Cheerios or Raisin Bran, and also beans and boiled eggs in a hot pot. I didn't try them but there was apple juice, orange juice, and hot chocolate packs available. Staff has been nice. Parking has been good and there's a great view over the Irving Nature Park from one side of the hotel. It's a good inexpensive option.

The rooms were clean. However, everything feels a bit off. Small weirdly laid out washroom. Bed headboards were screwed to the wall garishly with screws. Free breakfast was okay, but the juice didn't taste good. Again something slightly off. Good enough for a place to stay over if you are looking for to save a buck or two, but don't recommend it to people you're trying to impress.

The room was clean, fresh, and updated. Very happy with my stay.

Very happy with my stay here for a Saturday night, and even decided to stay another night because I've experienced other motels on this street and this one hands down is the preferred of all of them.

18 hours of driving, the bed was very comfortable. Hot water in the shower too!

Nice little hotel. A bit outdated but rooms were kept clean and includes a fridge, microwave, coffee maker which was nice.

Hotel is situated in a good place! Rooms are clean, but was not sure about the draps! Internet quality was very poor! Overall cheaps place to stay, but there's better!

Spacious room with comfy beds. A hilltop view from all rooms! The included breakfast was nothing too impressive, but it did the job. Upon arriving late at night, had to stand out in the cold and call the manager to open the door. Overall a brief, comfortable stay.

We were just staying overnight to catch the Ferry. It was a comfortable room with basic amenities on site. It serves our purpose. It was very got though.

Economic rates. Very ordinary.

This small motel is a great place to stay the night. Econolodge in Saint John New Brunswick was very clean and we'll managed. This motel changed our views about econolodge from a previously bad experience in Ottawa. It is price friendly, with a great view. Would definitely stay the night here again and will recommend to anyone coming this way.

Very nice clean motel expertly run by the manager. Great view from the parking lot of the city (even if you ignore the sewage plant which you cannot smell! ). Good continental breakfast is part of the package. A real perk was the computer in the hallway with printer. We used it to help plan part of our trip. I would definitely go back!

Finally, no surprise! Hotel 100% non-smoking! Clean, but really very clean and quiet. Impeccable service. Quiet wish. My wife was thrilled with the rest that she found between two long days of road at the beginning of August 2009.
