The ladies also at the restaurant are also very good.
They go above and beyond… Traveling there again in March!

I was having issues with the card while checking in and the staff and manager were so caring and helpful during this time as we struggled for over half an hour to fix the issue, I arrived upset for a 2 day stay and by the end of it I felt so refreshed and overall happy. All of the different staff members from front desk to luggage to housekeeping etc are so nice! Anything I asked for was immediately brought straight to my room, I didn’t even have to load my own bags on the luggage cart! A nice gentleman did it for me, walked it all the way up to the lobby and also waited for me while I checked out to load it in my vehicle! The restaurant staff are also extremely friendly, the service is fast and the food is amazing especially breakfast! Best meal I’ve ever had at a hotel, honestly. The pool is perfect for just wanting to relax and the jacuzzi hot tub is huge! Along with a gym fully loaded, private showers full bathroom etc, and lockers that you don’t have to pay for, and the suites themselves are beautiful. Such a comfortable stay, this is my new safe place.

We attended a wedding at the Delta in Saint John and stayed overnight after. We were very happy with our experience. After checking in, we were very impressed by the cleanliness of the room, and what great condition in was in. It looked newly renovated. The staff were also very friendly and professional. Although the room exceeded our expectations, we were absolutely in awe of how amazing the wedding was. The Trinity Room was open, airy and the view was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to make guests comfortable and the food was hands down the best wedding food I've ever had. I think the best part was that you could see that the grooms were beyond happy with the whole event. From what I could tell, the staff at the Delta made their wedding beautiful, fun and extremely well organized so that they could enjoy their night. The only thing that was disappointing is that we are already married and didn't think to have our wedding there. We will definitely be staying again.

The staff there were fantastic, they all when out of there way to accommodate my sister in a wheelchair.
The only problem we had was city hall closed the walk way so we couldn’t get my sister in a wheelchair back to the hotel on New Year Eve.
Thanks to the Delta staff they drove our van and came to pick us all up at Market Square.
Felt very comfortable with all the security.

Service was top notch. Bathroom felt dated but the room was otherwise maintained with new furniture with lots of places to plug in devices. Parking is not included so once you factor in the extra $20, it ends up more expensive than it should be.

The staff working there is great and very nice. This is the best hotel for us when we attend a swim meet at the Canada Games Aquatic Center. The only reason it is missing a star is that there are no more complimentary microwaves in the standard rooms.

Great location and staff were friendly. If you can sleep through gulls outside your window than it's an alright room. No view at all but I'm guessing that's because I got the discounted room for an event plus the birds poop on the windows so we didnt even bother opening the curtains. The staff are really the best part of this hotel.

Stayed at Delta two days. No-one offered to assist me with my luggage no biggie just found little unusual. Checked into my room was good and clean. Once entering washroom there was all kinds of dirt in the tub. As I opened the water more of the same dirt was flushing out. Called Front desk they advised me it was the pipes and said they can switch the room for me tomorrow. Another rare thing to offer following day. Next day they called me told me room was ready. The bellboy which I think he was brought my new keys but Once again would not offer to assist me with suitcase bags etc. I don't expect a service rendered for me not too tip but at least offer. Little disappointed in the way they dealt with the whole situation. Things happen understandable but customer service could of been little more assertive.

By far the best reason I can tell you to stay at the Delta in Saint John is the staff. Absolutely wonderful staff, from front desk to the room service to the cleaning staff. Everyone was very friendly and talkative, and made us feel right at home. The room was beautiful and clean, as I think they were recently renovated. It was nice to have lots of power outlets and usb connections for charging devices. Location is great, you're right downtown close to restaurants and nightlife, as well as the water.

Hotel is finishing up renovations. Solid 3.5* place to stay. We had a few issues and they were dealt with quickly (broken a/c). Seems to be kind of a party hotel (lots of drunk patrons). Skip breakfast or meals in the restaurant. We had ours included and couldn’t get served. Very slow service. Otherwise everything was fine.

Although rooms have supposedly been renovated they leave much to be desired. Shower head is from the 90s and should be replaced. It's also so low you have to crouch to wash hair. Asked for bathrobe when booked online and again after checkin. It was never delivered. Rooms are small, offer no modern amenities and smell like new carpet/wet dog. Heating/AC is old and appears to be original equipment. TV is old Phillips flat screen with aftermarket remote, offering limited functions. TV aspect ratio is locked to annoying wide stretch so everyone looks short and fat. Decor is dated in spite of the "recent renovations". Breakfast service at the Mix Restaurant/Bar was dismal. Had to ask three times for coffee, once delivered it came with 50ml of milk for two people… another 10 minutes to get server's attention… another 10 minutes to get milk… coffee is cold… you get the picture. Family with small children were there before us and didnt receive food until we were finished. Overheard server apologizing about the "mixup" but didn't offer any discount or free food. Skip the Mix and go to the market square food courts or the various pubs. Cora's is nearby and serves a delicious breakfast for less. Overall a very disappointing experience for over $200CAD/night. 3* experience, 4+* prices.

This hotel is basically inside a mall. The rooms aren't fully up to date and half the rooms face inwards toward the roof. There was a lot of construction going on while were there so maybe things will improve. Otherwise it's well situated for going into Nova Scotia via the ferry or doing day trips to other attractions in the area.

Great rooms, swimming pool, hot bath, gym… Only minus is the breakfast to go (1 fruit, 1 muffin and 1 bottle of water or coffe) … They gave me 15% off coupon for restaurant inside mall in the middle of the hotel… Hotel has wallet parking…

Service is outstanding — extremely courteous and helpful staff. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi is horrendous as it's a very old building… it'll kick you off every few minutes and moves at a snails pace (that's if you can even get on it in the first place). There's also no business centre. The low rating is because these details are hidden during booking. If you're traveling for business as we do and absolutely require Wi-Fi (which is a normal requirement for business travel), this may not be the place for you. We had to cut our trip short as we were supposed to stay a week, we left after one night.

This is a great hotel located in the heart of Saint John. There are plenty of great restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Nice clean rooms and great service. Will stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel when our flight was delayed due to a snowstorm. They have a nice pool and a huge hot tub. Water was showing signs of mush use since it was march break (a bit cloudy). The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have is that a few hockey teams were staying on the same floor and they were partying in the halls. At 10:00pm the kids were playing hockey in the halls (with nets and all). I had to call twice before anything was done. I later found out that a person from another room had complained twice during the same time frame. So, it took 4 complaints before anything was done.

Had a suite, it had a jaccuzzi bathtub in front of the bed, felt sort of like going to a cheap motel… The toilet didn't flush very well either, had to flus 2 or 3 times for a #1…

Delta St. John Hotel by Marriott is an excellent accommodation located in New Brunswick Canada. It has been newly renovated in a modern upscale style. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and a sitting area. Wi-Fi is available. A nice restaurant is located in the Lobby. It serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Very good food.

Check-in was quick. The room was suitable and the bed comfortable. Everything was clean. The hotel is central to the uptown area and that is where you want to be in Saint John. My room did not have a great view, bit our friends did. Overall, I would recommend it.

In winter it's pretty awesome that it has an attached mall and walkways. Good hotel.

Great experience!
Got the room with one king bed and asked to be as close as possible to my parents in their room with the two queen beds upon arrival they had us in connecting rooms which was perfect for our family. We arrived early with one room being ready and when the other way ready the keys were brought to us quickly. There was a small issue with the heater not blowing warm air we contacted the front desk and within a couple minutes someone was there and had it fixed. Beds & pillows were heavenly, being the new mom of a 3 month old that was muchly appreciated and even she enjoyed them! Rooms were very clean and spacious. All staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. We had supper at the restaurant it took awhile however with the crowd that was out of everyone's control we had a waiter that was on his first shift sadly I forgot his name but he was great, remembered everything without even writing it down and great personality! The nachos were worth the wait, returned for breakfast this morning which was delicious and portions were great not to little and not to much that a bunch was wasted.

I recently visited the Delta for lunch and drinks with some friends. As always, the food was excellent and came to us quickly. The staff are always friendly and attentive! I would highly recommend.

Nice hotel connected to a mall. Good area of town with a lot within walking distance. Nice size rooms, bathroom a bit on the smaller side but clean and nice.

I stopped in today to buy new running shoes. The staff went above and beyond to get me fitted. They assessed my needs, I likely tried on 10 pairs of shoes. Their patience and assistance was very appreciated. If you need running shoes, this IS the place to go.

Great location right downtown. 3 minute walk from market Square and city market. Also near harbour passage. Beds were comfy, didn't have a chance to make use of many hotel amenities.

Room very clean and space more than enough. New modern furniture and lamps. Close to all the services and shops. Courteous and helpful staff.

Perfect for a one night stay. Stopped over with hubby for the night on our way to PEI. Staff was pleasant and friendly, room was what we were expecting. Room service was great too.

Staff was not very helpful. Requested king bed, did not happen. Breakfast was good and out waitress was very nice.

Very nice hotel with courteous staff and nice furnishings. Trying to find the way into the hotel was a challenge, especially with all the construction in the area. Better signage would have earned my stay top points.

Hi. I want to compliment one of your staff. Unfortunately I don't have her name. She was working front desk on Aug 25 at around 6pm and was training another girl. My children (aged 19 and 11) were attending fan fest and we decided last minute that my oldest would book a room for the 2 of them to stay the night due to the fundy fan fest group rate discount. After quoting a higher rate, the associate explained the offer was no longer available My girls were still going to book, so your associate took a moment and located an excellent rate that included breakfast. She then took the time to explain everything about the rate and deposit to my oldest. And when she overheard me advising the girls to buy toothbrushes and paste, she advised they could just pick them up at the desk whn they headed in for the evening. My girls forgot to stop but were pleasantly surprised to find they had been placed in the room already. Upon closing the conversation she assured the girls that if they required anything at all during the night or next day to call the front desk for assistance. This little bit of extra time and care for 2 young girls out enjoying a new Saint John event, made their weekend even better. Thank you.

The bathrooms are not adequate compared to the rest of the room!

Great hotel. Our room wasn't ready when we wanted to check-in, so we were given free breakfast! Great service.

We stayed at the Delta Marriott with my Daughter's wedding party and family. It was nice and clean and staff were helpful and pleasant. Our experience was good except for the bride and groom. The amenities they were expecting were out of order, which put a damper on their wedding night. However, we had no issues with our room.

Love love love this hotel. The rooms are great, the staff are lovely and the restaurant Mix is such a joy and a treat to visit any day of the week. This is my third time in a week here with the family. The food is world class, incredibly well priced and kids eat free. What's more there's a super awesome happy hour deal for Canada 150. World class hotel, doing world class things in a smaller city.

I usually stay here every month and a half. Its in a great location. Great and friendly staff. Its a great place to rest and be a good base. Nothing fancy, but they are working towards renovations to provide an updated look and feel.

I was at the banquet halls for a conference and they were great. The rooms were well lit the staff very helpful and friendly. Only down fall was the bathrooms not being the cleanest.

Very nice! Stayed in a brand new Deluxe King Room. The bed was the best. The pillows were awesome. The staff was great! The only issue was our room had a very new smell… kind of like that new car smell. It wasn't awful, just a bit strong at first. Much better than old and smelly though.

I recently went to the Delta for dinner and drinks with friends. The food is always excellent and service is the best! The staff really seem to care about their customers. I come here for lunch all the time because the service is quick and I'm always out on time to get back to work. Would highly recommend! (especially the fresh seafood chowder! )

Room was wonderful but the tub wasn't draining and there's a water main running right next to the honeymoon suite. Had a very hard time sleeping with people running water and such all night.

While I found it very confusing to get from the parking garage to the front desk, the hotel was clean and the prices were reasonable.

Horrible Experience. Stayed there on Feb. 20/21/2016. First impression was not good considering they changed our room from a two bedroom as booked, to a one bedroom. When we explained a one bedroom would not work they could not find us a room because the hotel was booked. As a Platinum member, this is not acceptable. Then once a room was found, we were told it would not be ready on time. Which again, is not acceptable as we were there for an event and needed to prepare. We were there after check in time, so it's not like we arrived early. Once they found us a room it was dirty, small, and outdated. They put us in a small room, with a tiny window. I can't say that I will be staying there again. As a Marriott Platinum member, I sure hope now that this is a Marriott property that something will be done to update this place.

Room service was fast. Rooms are big and clean. Hotel is a quiet place.

Bad location 15 minutes to get from your car to your room. Ugh! Hotel needs major upgrades. My room was awful. It was literally falling apart and was a 250$ night room! Got my money back-staff was good for that :) will never stay or trust the delta name.

Location and sheltered parking is great. Pool and fitness facilities are great. Room is comfortable and has all necessities for business traveller. I do find front staff very friendly but slow to deliver service. Don't seem to acknowledge that after a long day on the road people are short on patience. Could improve their customer service by getting things done faster. Lots of noise from the street.

In town for a dance competition. We loved the hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Like that the hotel is connected through walkways to shops and restaurants.

It's okay… not an overall great experience due to some noise issues not handled by staff. Toilet was not working properly either. Front desk staff — some were good, others not at all — didn't even acknowledge you standing there to check in.

Went there for an event happening in one of their conference halls. Their was nothing to help find the place on the walls, and the front desk was rude. Acted like I was asking them for their right hand when I asked for directions.

Stayed here in 2013, very dated rooms, was in a standard room but it felt like I had gone back to the 1980s, even the alarm clock was wood panel. Great location though, being inside the mall and central to everything downtown.

This is a standard business hotel with indoor pool. Friendly service.
The room was Ok, BUT the air from the air condition smelled musty and no window could be opened.

In a word, incredible. Our situation related to trying to help a family from out of town who had experienced a sudden tragic death of a loved one. They were arriving in Saint John in need of a hotel immediately. The Delta staff were gracious, understanding and immediately supportive, offering a bereavement rate and patiently working through all the details. I am deeply grateful for their 'pastoral professionalism'. A refreshing experience for sure.

Convenient location and comfortable room but the service is lacking.

As much as I have to admit I did not enjoy the city of Saint John at all, this hotel is one of the bright spots to stay at. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, pool and gym area are kept in nice condition. Handy elevator to take you right down to Market Square so you can grab a Tim Horton's before you start your day. This hotel was the best part of my trip to Saint John.

We called the night before trying to escape the hotel we had booked. The front desk offered us a great rate (129.00 first night, 69.00 for the second) and we couldn't resist. Everything about the Delta Brunswick was amazing. The beds were so amazingly comfortable. The bathroom was big with a huge full wall mirror. They have lovely shampoo/body lotion/soaps and the towels were huge and fully stocked! There was free Wi-Fi, and lots of information about the hotel, the mall, and things to do and see in Saint John. The pool was 4.6ft at the deepest, but was huge, as was the hot tub. The fitness center was large and had everything a person could need for a good workout. Shuckers (the restaurant and bar) had incredible service, and although we only had dessert, it was so good. The covered walking passes were great since the weather wasn't the most cooperative. We got to go to the Museum, and the Aquatics center without leaving the warm building. I absolutely loved my stay here and will be back.
