Riverside Cafe is where I go to read the local newspaper, take inventory of my surroundings, and enjoy my eggs Benedict — served to perfection every time. I'm a huge fan of the ownership and their team, who always provide a welcoming, positive and inviting atmosphere for me and my family. Wishing everyone well during these challenging times.

Breakfast was good and filling… but the waffles were outstanding. No knock on the service but if you come on a Saturday be prepared to wait. A lot of people and freshness takes time.

Great place for loud parties but don’t expect to sleep if you’re staying in a tent: (We camped here for 2 nights with our children. The first night at 11pm, other campers were very loud, blaring loud music and partying. They partied until 3am. The signs indicated that there was a quiet time after 11pm but obviously this was not enforced by Riverside staff. I phoned the manager the next day and she told me to call the emergency after hours number for noise complaints which I did that night when the loud campers were rowdy. I called 10 times and no one answered. I even left a voicemail about the noise. It is a shame because the campsite itself is nice enough, close to the bike path which takes you to whistler. The bathrooms were clean, 1$ showers hot and overall decent facilities. But due to the noisy campers and how it was not dealt with, I will never stay here again.

The food is amazing. We ate breakfast and lunch there, unfortunately they dont offer dinner. Price is reasonable and food is very quantitative and appetizing. Good location as well, right beside Riverside Resort.

This is a sweet park close to Whistler village. Fairly spacious sites in our loop (H) with trees for nice shade. The bike/walking trail goes right by here so we can ride bikes to the village alongside the river, or around the golf course and lake. It's so beautiful! A gem of a place.

Staff was nice… tables weren't wiped though and our food took awhile. It tasted pretty good, so I guess it was worth the wait.

Great option if you want to camp near Whistler Village and you're OK with a small site. We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed the convenience to the Village so that we could ride our bikes back and forth without having to move the RV. The sites are small and very close together, but the other people in our zone were very quiet and noise was no problem at all. Showers are $1 for 6 minutes, bathrooms are in very limited supply for the number of campsites; often there's a wait to take a shower or use the washrooms. Overall a very nice experience.

Cooked exactly as I requested! Large portions and friendly folks. I'll be back next time I'm in BC.

Such friendly and welcoming staff and food is amazing. I come here weekly and usually try something different and am always amazed. Would HIGHLY recommend!

The tent sites were very nice. The vegetation made it feel very private. The showers are marvellous but the bathrooms themselves were cramped and definitely not big enough for the amount of traffic that goes through there. They need more bathrooms or bigger facilities.

Really nice campground in whistler, just a 20 minute walk from whistler village. Friendly staff, and organized camp sites make for a great stay. They have clean laundry, facilities, Wi-Fi, the whole shebang. The only star I take off is for price. Just a wee bit expensive at around $75/night. Guess that comes with the location! Either way great park!

ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS PLACE! Highly recommend the yurts, we stayed in the winter and after the heater warmed it up it stayed warm all night mid winter, right beside the spa we took a bath and walked the path back to the yurts. The front desk lady's are always super helpful and welcoming, defintly best place to stay in whistler.

My favourite spot ever! This is definitely my go to breakfast place! I have never had something that was not delicious. Staff are amazing and service is always fast!

I eat it with my hand, And. Please. That rhyme was not planned, hence why it came out a little bland. Unlike the the breakfast sandwich which is the best in the land. Sand.

Loved it. Close proximity to village. Bathrooms were clean and full hookups worked well. Kids rode all over and played in the little park, while tons of trails to lakes and main village. Going back next month.

Dirty showers during our 2 nights stay, camp ground prices are muuuch too high for such a filthy and puny Laundry room. The way to the Parking slot was not well explained. Ancestors, or run would have been better. We have procedures unfortunately.

The food is great, comes quickly, and there is a lot of food for a decent price! If you're not super hungry I'd say you could probably share something. The staff are very friendly, and I've noticed they are always happy to accommodate custom orders… if you're one of those people ;) … If you really want a luxurious experience, don't forget to order their freshly squeezed orange juice!

Great campground. Clean and well kept. Rv sites with trees tables and firepit. Good breakfast restaurant on site. Lovely location. 1 mile walk to Whistler village on river side trail.

Best omelet ever. Relaxed atmosphere combined with great food and I am soooo picky of an eater and sooo happy and delighted we stopped and ate here with Nikita.

We stayed for 3 days in the RV Park in August 17. Great facilities and not too far from the town. Watch out for bears!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced, they keep raising the prices and taking away services to the customers. And because it's a "luxury resort" you have to follow they insane list of rules. The worst one is that you have to have a "white tarp on your motorhome and white only due to the fact that it looks better! 10 years ago this campground was we'll run and maintained; now it's not maintained very well, very bad customer service and the prices are just outrageous!

We ate at the Riverside Cafe for breakfast. It's a reasonably priced restaurant for Whistler. It's just far enough out of the way that it's more of a locals place. The food is good and there is a decent selection of breakfast to choose from on the menu.

Arrived here in the snow today. The staff were great, any questions we asked, they answered brilliantly. No issues about customer service at all… We're in an RV so currently fully hooked up. Everything works great. Loving life! Ha.

Bathrooms are very clean and the yurts are nice. Customer service falls very short. We booked a yurt and were placed near a service road that had traffic rerouted for all spa guests due to construction. There were cars and people coming and going all day. At night they ran a loud generator for giant spot lights for the spa guests. Management did not warn us about the extra noise while booking. No mention on their website either. Management offered to move us to a quiter spot for a $150 relocation fee. No thanks I won't be spending any more money here. Also you need a token to take a shower (which at $150 a night for yurt guests is ridiculous) but of course you can only get the token from the office when they aren't closed. Here's an idea use real coins. The spa also used a gas powered golf cart to move guests back and forth every 5 minutes so the air was sweet with the smell of exhaust. It's exactly how I imagined a weekend in the mountains, thanks Riverside!

We were excited to have a relaxing long weekend in Whistler, but were quite disappointed. We booked a yurt, which was nice enough — it was clean, warm, and had decent beds. What was not great was the location of the yurts within the resort. The Scandinave Spa is right next door, and they are doing some sort of renovation or construction, so ALL guests are being rerouted down the road where the yurts are located to access the spa. This means that there are literally people walking by your yurt every few minutes from morning until night. This also meant that there were constantly shuttles, taxis, and golf carts driving by, shuttling people to the spa. They have also put up giant spotlights that are turned on as soon as it get dark, which are powered by an extremely loud generator that is literally right next to the yurts. We arrived at night so didn't notice any of this until the next morning. We decided to ask about moving to a more quiet yurt, but were (rudely) told by staff that there were only two free yurts (even though they were almost all empty, by our observation), and also stated it would be an extra night's fee ($150) to change. It would have been nice for the resort to have either put us in a yurt that was further from the road, or to have at least told us that there would be a lot of noise and people walking by. It felt like we were staying in a parking lot all weekend, which was far from what we were hoping for.

Love what they have done this and how they stayed true to the origional menu! Good job guys!

Awesome location and polite staff for the most part. If camp fire is important to you and you are a responsible camp fire user, you may want to consider other options. There is a ban on propane fire pit here while it is allowed in provincial campgrounds and the other Whistler campground, during extreme fire hazard condition.

I spent months planning my daughters first birthday and the Riverside Resort looked like the most beautiful campground for the occasion. This was NOT the case. First of all, the booking process was horrid. Every time I called to confirm my booking or to ask a question, the staff members would contradict what the last person said and completely change the rules and regulations. For example: one staff member originally told me that I would pay the deposit and then as the families arrived to the campsite they would pay for their own family. Days before our booking when I called to confirm, they asked me to pay in full when I arrived. This was fine because I originally asked to pay in full anyway. It put my mind at ease knowing that my family and friends did not have to pay as they arrived. This brings me to my next point. When I originally booked our group site three months ago I made the reservation for 20 people. I gave them my credit card number and asked to please pay the full amount. The staff member responded with "No, that will not be necessary. I will take a deposit for just 5 people. " Unfortunately, that particular staff member booked my 20 person group for just 5 people! So, after driving hours and hours with an almost 12 month old, we arrived to find out our 20 person group was booked in a 5 person site! We were very understanding and set up our multiple tents in a single tent site. Needless to say, our tents were practically on top of each other for 4 days!

Riverside is a great spot, especially for tent camping. The sites offer decent privacy, proximity to Fitz creek, and a shower house. If you bik, there is immediate access to the valley trail, and quick ride into the village. The mini golf course is fun, and the Riverside Cafe is a bit of a hidden gem.

We stayed here in our pop-up trailer over the Canada Day long weekend. From the campsite you have access to countless trails for running, hiking and biking. There are lakes along these trails to stop, take in the scenery and relax. Whistler Village is 1KM away, easy walk and lots to see. The site number we were at was very nice with a view over our neighbors. Some sites are terraced which is a plus. Showers are a separate fee, the facilities are kept clean so it's worth it. Over-all, the best camping in the area we have experienced. We will definitely stay again.

Food is always amazing, and the staff are really cool and love to chat. I recommend calling them ahead of time to place your order as they do experience some busy times.

It's not camping! The name Riverside is absolutely deceiving. You are basically paying to sleep in a practically paved lot, crammed in with other campers. Our site, J54, was basically an after thought, it barely had enough space for our car. It was right next to the stop sign. I would not recommend this place, unless you are desperate and don't know what camping really is.

If I could describe this place with 1 word it would be HORRIBLE. It's straight terrible. I do not recommend it. Very dirty, rude staff and dumb Policy's. I'd rather sleep outside in the forest naked then ever go back to that place. Vacation my ass, this place will make you wish you were back at work. If your looking for an awful time with dirty cabins and terrible Cafe food then this is the place to go.

Beautiful place, decent camp site. We stayed for two days. What we were not told was campfires are to be put out at 10pm! First night we arrive after a day of traveling around 7 check in was fairly easy but clearly lacking professionalism maybe new hires?! We get to our campsite at 7:30 it was an OK size but no privacy. We had to hand pack everything in. We quickly set up our tent, start on dinner and light a fire. When we are done eating around 9:30 we hand pack everything back to the truck because of bear proofing. We get back to our campsite and can't wait to relax by the campfire, just the two of us no kids, when a guy starts yelling at everyone to put out there campfires. When people asked why he said it was the rules and front desk told us about them. First no they didn't! Second he didn't need to be rude about it. Third it was bloody cold this weekend and that's are only source of heat unlike the RVs on the property. Here's the best part my husband and I decided to go for a walk that evening all the fire pits in front of the RVs where all lite they hadn't been told to turn there's off. Saturday morning wake up have a shower, I put tokens in because you have to pay to shower, and no hot water spent $4.00 to take a cold shower after being freezing all night do to no camp fires. Skip forward to check out day Sunday, 8:30am. Office is closed I'm trying to return a propane tank, there's people trying to check out but there's no staff.

Stated in the yurts. Comfy, warm. Great way to 'glamp'! Plus breakfast in the on site cafe is great with a variety of options.

Stayed here twice with pickup truck & travel trailer RV. Tight turns into sandi dumps. Not enough full service lots. Back ups lots are okay with power & water. Stayed in RV, did not use wash rooms. Did not notice public sink to wash dishes. Maybe in tent area. No Wi-Fi in my area.

Really nice spot. The staff and management spoil it. Rude and unreasonable, they expect total lights out and sleeping by 10pm or they threaten to kick you out. We were just playing boss games and having normal conversation! Will not be back!

My family and I have stayed in the yurts at riverside for the past 4 summers. Amazing experience. Tented and trailered over the years. Great campsite and amenities. Will keep coming back. All you negative nellies, your camping! Not a five star hotel. And yes whistler is a bit more pricy but well worth the experience.

The campsite is absolutely stunning however the customer service is awful. They allow you to reserve a site number however will kick you out of that site if someone chooses to stay longer. They are all about the money. We booked months in advance only to be booted out of our chosen spot for someone else staying longer. This has happened THREE times now. They clearly do not care about their regular customers.

We stopped for 2 nights in Sept 2013 in our CanaDream RV and the place was great. Small shop on site along with a cafe (closes at 3pm though), so can take a breakfast and pick up supplies for the day ahead. Whistler is awesome, upper village is amazing, plenty to do and see including the peak to peak gondola (bit pricey but worth it). Would I recommend, yes.
