We enjoyed the atmosphere in the room… The beds are super comfy and we like that the fact the cable was easy to figure out. The kitchen food here is beyond excellent. The breakfast is to die for!

A clean, friendly, good value hotel in Clearwater, close to Wells Gray Provincial Park. Our group of 8 stayed at the Wells Gray Inn the night before a canoe trip in Wells Gray Park. The hotel is easy to find, right beside the highway. Friendly check-in and our group had adjacent rooms in a wing of the hotel. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. They were also surprisingly quiet despite being close to the highway. There is a restaurant on-site with a varied supper menu. Prices are reasonable and service was great. We also enjoyed a hearty breakfast before leaving in the morning.

Stopped for the restaurant. Is great that it opens early, nice waitress and the hangover breakfast was a great blend of foods! Went again on our way back and had a great dinner… Awesome food.

Friendly staff, allowed our dog. Hotel is a maze, somewhat rowdy (but friendly) crowd hangs out at the attached bar. Restaurant was great. You can tell the carpet is old, smells a bit, but the room was clean and shower was nice. Fridge and microwave accompanied the coffeepot in the room.

We can't say enough on the beauty of the room. It was our wedding night and we have to say it was the most beautiful room ever. The tub and walk in shower were amazing! We would highly recommend this room for sure for romantic get away and then the adventures in Wells Gray park… so beautiful! Staff went out of their way for us on our honeymoon! We would book again just for the beauty and peacefulness of the room! Thank you so much from the newlywed Fenwick's! Made our night incredibly Special!

This was such a great find on our way down through Clearwater! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and ours was so spacious. It had small town charm, and I was so thankful for the kindness of the staff as I was travelling with two young children. She was so helpful with our bags, even upgraded our room after seeing my two young toddlers already stir crazy in the lobby. While we didn't use much of the amenities, it seemed incredibly family friendlt. It was right on the highway so perfect place to stop and rest overnight after travelling all day. We would definitely stay here again for an overnight stop or longer visit if in the area.

Was here 2 years ago. Used it as a base camp while doing hikes in Wells Gray Park. Greatly enjoyed our stay here — — rooms OK, friendly staff and very good restaurant. Plan to come back this year for an encore performance!

This hotel is one of a kind. Great food, friendly staff. I enjoyed the variety of the menus, and the quick response of the staff. The pub was a fun place to hang out. Friendly waiters, kareoke was fun. Rooms are clean and quiet. Also the gateway to a truiy majestic, unknown, Canadian park.

Our food was OK. The operation friendly. Locally in itself, nice and authentic.

Excellent Customer Service. The large room had a little closet, separate bathtub from washroom (I loved it) A large desk that can be used as table. A fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. Nice comfy bed. There is a short trail from the Hotel that connects to the little Mall nearby with Low Badget Food supermarkets and with 10 min walk you can dine in you room like I did. Big screen TV and free Wi-Fi if you want to bring your iPad to watch movies like I did.

Very clean rooms. It is an older building but well kept. Nice restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

It's a historic hotel, so don't be dissapointed by the size of the rooms but very cool feel everything you need is there and it's a perfect location. Rooms are quiet mostly and it is pet friendly. Service is all around good.

Excellent beds! Seriously slept like a baby! The food is great too! They also have an amazing hot tub!

Restraunt was great and rooms were cozy, the Cable box has some issues but otherwise great woke recommend for anyone staying in wells gray.

Hot tub wasn't very warm and the shower water was moderately hot. Kind of a bummer after a long day hiking in the snow. Lots of entrances and exits for easy access to rooms. Was pretty quiet and beds where decently comfy. Basic satellite TV with weird aspect ratio you can't adjust. Bring your HDMI cable and a. Laptop if you want to watch movies. Otherwise standard run of the mill small town hotel. Not bad at all. Steak wasnt great for dinner but the breakfast redeemed everything. Mind blowing breakfast food!

The typical Inn on the road. Large size camera with entrance both on the hotel on in the street (so you can park your car just in front of the door). Breakfast very American one and in general good.

This hotel is a excellent place to stay. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and the staff are very friendly and make you feel like family. The hotel rooms are really nice an Clean. Yes it’s beside the highway and l didn’t hear anything from the traffic going by nice and quiet. I travel a lot and stay at many hotels and I highly recommend this place to stay at.

About as good of food as you'll find in Clearwater. Good selection of food for all tastes.

Amazing food! Amazing service! Everything was so yummy and such good portions! The poutine is to die for! Chicken strips are huge and so tasty! Pizza is awesome from here aswell! Can't wait to try everything else absolutely delicious!

Dined at the Wells Gray Inn after spending most of the day touring in Wells Gray Park. We all three enjoyed our meals and friendly helpful service. Would definitely go again and recommend it.

Amazing service great prices huge portions crab and cream cheese rolls are to die for. People are super friendly rooms were great a little outdated but clean quiet and comfortable. I had the chicken club sandwich which in itself was a meal I coukdnt finish it great taste could have used a bit more mayo but over all very tasty. I'd definately recommend this place to anyone.

Wow, amazing service. We had a family tragedy happen and had to have a ton of family down for a service and we called them and asked if there was anything they could do. Shawna was working an evening shift and gave us a good rate initially but said the owner would have to approve it. Then Shawna called the owner and called us back within the matter of minutes and gave us an even lower price to help us out! Bonnie, the Rusnak family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts! We will highly recommend this hotel for future use to everyone.

I now reside in Edmonton but growing up in BC Wells Gray was a place I would even come alone. It's so peaceful and all the people there make you feel you're home! Tired and hungry as we were driving in treacherous snow. They made us a generous and delicious gluten free breakfast at NIGHT! Sausage eggs gf bread that tastes home made and their home fries/ hash browns you will definitely want doubles of! Gave us a discounted rate to stay. In the morning we revisited their yummy breakfast (it's that good! ) and one of their awesome staff gave us 2 coffees free to go. Coffee is the best! I will brag about this place til I run out of breath! It made our holiday. This was Boxing Day! We stop every time we go through. Love you guys and thank you so much.

Clean, tidy rooms at good rates. It's the way only place I stay! Have tried others before we found out how good the rates were here and this place gives way more and costs less. Polite friendly service from staff. With a great little gem of a restaurant attached. They kept the restaurant open later just for me (I had not eaten yet and the place was just closing when we checked in) one night! Now that is service people! I can't promise they'll do the same for you but they will do a lot of things to make sure you are a happy customer when you depart! And there is a pub and cold beer and wine store attached too.
