This place is a gem. The views are stunning, the hosts are super super sweet and the rooms are cosy, tidy, fully equipped (we even had a REAL kitchen), everything is neat and clean, there are benches and a few fireplaces at the lakefront, so be sure to bring a bottle of wine and some smores. I could easily spend a week here. Place is also perfectly located for exploring the Clearwater valley. Thank you for having us, if possible we will come back for sure!

It's a nice place. Rooms are a little dated, but it's still quite cozy. Cost us about $107 for the room which appeared to be able to house 4 people, although we only brought 3. Management seemed extremely nice and helped show us some nice places in Wells Gray as well as good places to eat in Clearwater. The place also does their own canoe rentals and even has their own little food truck, although I was unable to try either. The place did come with a few minor problems. We were unable to lock the door with the key, although we could lock it from the inside and close it, thereby locking the door when we left. The walls are also pretty thin. We heard everything the neighbours did. Kinda awkward. Despite the problems, I enjoyed my stay. If I was ever down in Clearwater again, I'd more than consider staying here again.

Perfect stay! The rooms with lake view are renovated and in perfect condition. The kitchen is nice and the bathroom is neat and has fancy "wood" design. The moment you step out of your room am enjoy your morning coffee with this view is absolutely perfect.

This is the most disgusting place I’ve been to in Canada. The room smells like a chemical lab, the windows cannot be closed (they’re open all the time! ) and haven’t been cleaned in like a year. The room looked as if it is still in the making. The TV didn’t work (might be because of the cable hanging from the wall) and you can hear everything (EVERYTHING! ) your neighbors do. TL;DR: Don’t go there!

I couldn't have asked for a better and more cozy place to stay. Right on the lake. Excellent service and great price. You can also rent kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards for an affordable price. Wells grey park is just down the road and the owner has no problem helping you find some cool spots to check out! I'll be back for sure!

Its horrible. I haven’t seen the staff so I don’t know about those other people. But when we were all in a room. We had to buy another room. Since us two families were traveling. And we like HAD to buy another room. We were forced. Payed too much for this. The TV was bad. Very small. The mosquitoes are everywhere yes I know it’s not their fault. But it just puts everyone on alert making sure the door is closed. There are motels around it. They seem better. Make it bigger.

Beautiful location, great service very friendly extremely happy with accommodation thank you again, was lovely meeting you and having a drink with you both.

Cheap and good.
The motel is relatively simple but there is everything you need, including a small kitchen. We had a room overlooking the lake which was very nice. Especially when you get up in the morning, have cooked yourself a coffee and let your view wander over the lake and mountains.
There is also a small fire pit.
You shouldn't expect too much, the setup is very simple but we paid for 4 people even about €65 per night.
We'd love to descend here again. Very good!

Clean rooms. Has a fridge, coffee maker, TV and fan. The mattress is comfortable. Close to the lake…

We made a last minute reservation and arrived pretty late, the manager was so kind and waited up for us. Couldn't have asked for warmer service, a more convenient location, a more beautiful lakeside view, and a more cozy suite. Highly recommended!

Great view from lakeside room. Nice having a full kitchen and outdoor picnic tables. Friendly staff and reasonable rates. Nice and quiet as the Inn is off the highway.

Great location between jasper and whistler. Right by a beautiful lake. The owners are really lovely and very helpful. There is canoes and kayaks that can be rented for cheap. The place was very clean and had a kitchen with plates and pans. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend it to anyone!

Based on off season, end of April stay Location 5/5 This motel has rooms located facing a lake. With only a couple other houses on the lake it felt very private and quiet. The view was beautiful. Easy to get to. Room 5/5 We were in a newly renovated suite, and they did a great job. Simple and clean. The bed was comfortable. It was great having a kitchenette — but with a larger fridge and stove. They had a couple of essential items to get our cooking done. The bath has full tub and hot water. Amenities 5/5 We had a fire pit and you buy wood from them. It was very relaxing listening to the loons and crackling fire at night. Apparently they had canoe and I believe paddle boards you could rent to go on lake. We didn’t have enough time to use them. There was a dock, beach, and I could see this place packed in the summer with families-I assume. Customer Service 5/5 We had no issues with check in. Jayda was super sweet and easy to get a hold of. She started off the stay on a good note with being very friendly. Value 5/5 Absolutely. $80cad for 1 night on the lake with fire pit and kitchen. It was just perfect.

This hotel is just as good as one that is twice the price. The views are astounding and the price is hard to beat!

Value for money: it's ok. It'd probably be ok for a kind of summer-cabin-on-the-lake thing (I was passing through in the winter with my 2 littles). Really strong detergent smell on the beds, which sucks for someone allergic to scents : (The walls are REALLY THIN and I kept hearing talking and some kind of tapping from another room. We stayed in the 2-bedroom suite which was suitable enough, but unfortunately nowhere to relax in the evening except at the kitchen table; not exactly comfy or relaxing. Switch to unscented detergents and I might stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Garden rooms. The location is nice and the staff is friendly. The room itself looked neglected, smelled like cat toilet and was small with not much space around the bed to place bags. It also looked like it hasn't been cleaned under the bed for months. Also the bathroom had a bad smell. It is quite shocking that the rooms in this condition are for rent, and also for not too little money.

We arrived in a stormy night which definitely added to the atmosphere. The rooms are spacious but a bit dated. There is Wi-Fi, some kitchen supplies and a fridge. Some architectural choices like a window in the shower are questionable but all in all we had a pleasant stay. The best thing about the place is definitely the location, right on Dutch Lake with beautiful views all time of day. I would stay here again.

Not only a great location for a stop off on the way to Jasper, but a beautiful place to stay. The views over Dutch Lake to Raft mountain are stunning. The rooms are not particularly big or luxurious, but are comfortable and worked well for our family of 5. The owner is welcoming and helpful. The lake is perfect for a refreshing swim on a hot, August day.

Stayed here for one night in April. Friendly staff. Very clean, beautiful view and very affordable. Definitely would stay here again.

We made an online booking after deciding we didn't want to drive through the night. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted and checked in within a couple minutes. We were even told to just leave the key in the room when we were ready to leave. The rate was extremely reasonable and the room, although dated, was very clean. Waking up in the morning, we were right on Dutch Lake with a beautiful view and a public beach only 100m away. We've already decided we will be stopping in for a couple days in the summer.

Initial impressions were low as the staff wasn't at the desk. However once I got their attention they were very friendly and quick to check me in. The actual cabins are quite spacious. Mine had 3 double size beds in two rooms, a full kitchen, and bathroom. The view was fantastic as the place sits overlooking a nearby lake. I'd definitely recommend this as the place to stop for a night or more! … PS the owner told me it was a recent acquisition and so lots of renovations are planned to update the place.

A good stop on the way to Jasper National Park.

Cute well looked after get-away. Definitely make a stop in to take canoe out on a warm night and a dip in the lake to center yourself then finish with a restful sleep on a soft bed. Totally worth it thanks. The line painters.

SUCH A GREAT PLACE! The management went overboard to ensure that we had an amazing stay. Our lakefront suit (with two bedrooms plus living room/kitchen) walked out to a balcony overlooking the lake with a beautiful mountain backdrop. This was a great location, close to all amenities. Now under new management, this place has been given an obvious rejuvenation of life, and is now modern, comfortable and super clean. I can't say enough about our stay. Beautiful swimming (with convenient dock and beach access), paddleboats and canoes, fire pits and good coffee. We will be back for sure.
