Farm Stay

Not worthy of 5*. Our cabin was cheaply furnished. Mosquito door has gaps all around it. No handle on shower door, wobbly chairs. Generally felt cheap. Farm very shabby although animals very well cared for when I saw them. Not easy to see animals so not how it seems on the website. We suffered badly with the mosquitoes which isn’t hosts fault but hard to escape them when you are outside.

Five star "rustic" accommodation. Set in the BC wilderness 32 km from the nearest Dairy Queen. (It's all about perspective:-)
Clean comfortable room. Great food.
Friendly outgoing knowledgable staff.
Lots of activities in the area.
And yes the dogs did bark, but that's their job. Probably barking at a variety of wildlife passing by, moose, bear, deer, etc… yes even those pesky squirrels. You can't drop your guard with squirrels around!

"Deluxe" cabin was anything but. Exceptionally overpriced for what it was. The cabins aren't so much 'rustic' as just very poorly maintained. Wifi? Technically, yes. It is satellite & very low bandwidth (think less than dial up). So low, you can't access Gmail. Owner cranked dance/workout music before breakfast, waking up several cabins & didn't seem to care. Would recommend staying somewhere else.

Where to start about Nakisha ranch. Beautiful balky country side. Barking dogs all night, squirrel in attic scratching pooping chewed wires kitchen lights didn't work. Nubby sheets hurt to lay on had cream my legs help recover scratching sheets no fresh bedding and towel daily small shower expensive $175 @ day for what you get out in middle no where breakfast extra for liquid eggs hoped for farm fresh out there.

25ish kilometers from Clearwater, this ranch welcomes you with a cozy environment, beautiful view on the surrounding fields and mountains and nice country cabins surrounded by trees and squirrels running around. The host is a nice man from Greenland who will show you around and cook dinner and breakfast for you (both wonderfully prepared and highly recommended). So much better than any hotel.

Anyone who appreciates good food and rustic country life, is here super! Price is justified by catering, location, water supply and rural circumstances.
Hiking trails are easily accessible by car and be well explained by a card from the landlord. By beautiful nature with waterfalls up to REIT — or is all possible rafting trips here.

Very dear landlords! Idyllic surroundings. Simply pure nature!

My Wife & I where last week in your ranch and I enjoyed your fabulous T-bone steaks. For who visiting Canada, go for a short stay or whatever you like to Nakiska Ranch Canada, a must for every Canada-fan. The steak melts on your tongue and Lars do his best for his guests. I said to him when I departed : Like Arnold Schwarzennegger said : I will be back!
