Stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it the owners were very helpful when we needed a kettle and 2 spoons highly recommended for Powell river area.

Good price, clean, close to Willingdon beach, the marina and shopping. I was surprised by such a quiet air conditioner.

Great view and location for getting around Powell River. Nice little kitchen for making food to eat in.

I've stayed here a few times and was treated very well. The rooms are immaculate and staff are friendly and personable.

Great view, clean room, friendly host, close to many shops and restaurants without being too close to a noisy street, reasonable price, pet friendly. What more could you want?

Clean, quiet. Limited amenities, no telephone and Wi-Fi very spotty. This is OK for those on a limited budget.

Nice little motel with a great view of the ocean. Bed was comfortable, good water pressure in shower. Clean.

The owner put money before the convenience of guests. We had booked 6 weeks before, then called (the motel) to confirm 2 weeks before, and yet the owner allowed the previous guests to stay in the room we had booked when they asked to stay another night, so WE had to change rooms the next day. We couldn't stay in the room we stayed in the first night because there were guests coming for that room. It didn't seem to matter that we had come in from another province just for the weekend and wasted half a day in order to change rooms (the wait until other the guests in our room checked out and the room was cleaned) before we could proceed with our plans. No offer of refund!

Nice and quite little motel. Rooms are nice and clean, the staffs are friendly. Also, fairly close to most places in Powell River, including the ferry terminal.

Freindly staff, nice view. BUT! We had reservations a week prior and our room was not available til next day at 2, the whole place was empty so was a bit confused! Very old rooms, hard to regulate heat, either too hot or too cold. We were there for 6 weeks and there was absolutely no Wi-Fi at all, I ended up paying an extra $200.00 for my data usage. No electrical outlet in bathroom, sink wouldn't drain in bathroom, hair blower in living room, no ventallation for the stove, hard to breath when you cook. No services unless you asked for it. They had a hockey team in on one weekend, the kids ran on the roof and parents sloppy drunk, swearing and yelling, had a fire with wood that manager gave them to burn in a barrel. Smoke detectors went off in our labourers room, we didnt even have a detector. Next day about 12 kids stood out the front of our unit throwing rocks at the wall and yelling, banging on our door then run. Called manager and the first time she ignored me, second time after threatening to call the cops she spoke with them and the dingbat drunk parents. The locals call it the ZOO thats an understatement! You get what you pay for.

Best place in town I stayed at must be a new maintenance man and New Management because this place seems a lot different and I would stay there again because it just seems really clean and things are done a lot better than they used to be.

LOVE IT! When the sun is out it has a beautiful view. Very nice rooms, nice location. Only problem is that it has a very steep hill to get up when you pull into your motel. (75° or so)

Love it here. Wonderful management, clean and quiet rooms. Love that I can park my vehicle right in front of my door, seeing the ocean from my porch is marvelous also :)

We stayed here for one night. Certainly not your 5 star, old, but is clean. Bed was comfy.

I've seen four spiders inside the room so far this evening… I'm sure the spider webs on the roof belong to one of them. There's no a/c, so you have to leave everything open, I guess animals and insects are expected. There's no ice or vending, that I've found at least, so come prepared. We came to check in at 5pm and expected a room to be ready, however it was not. Even though we received a phone call at 11am from the motel asking if we were still coming, and told them we're would be there around 5pm. We had to wait close to 30 mins before the room was cleaned. A 6pm check in is… Well… not acceptable (especially when check in was supposed to be 3pm). They did give us a discount on the rate for the day, and that's why I'm not giving them a 1 star. I wasn't expecting much, as it's a motel in Powell River, and ya… The room was what I expected… Spiders and all. But ya, what can you expect from a motel in Powell River.

Excellent customer service, really nice staff, great view of the ocean and we would for sure stay there again. We were expecting to have an oven and when there wasn't one they went out of there way to help us find something to cook our frozen pizzas in Would for sure recommend it!

We booked 2 rooms through online. The room description says it has stove and AC but none of my rooms has them. The entry to mortel area has a long and very stiff slope which will be extemely danger in winter time. The owner is very hard working but she obviously has short hands and you hardly get services.

Very cheerful and helpful staff, if you need anything they will accomodate you. Good community vide with everyone outside watching the sunset. Rooms are adequate and to be expected for the affordable rates they offer.

Clean, affordable, centrally located, beautiful view of the ocean! This motel is quite old, but new owners done quite a number of renovations to it: new windows, new flooring, walls. No smells, no smoking, everything worked as it supposed to be. Excellent soundproofing as I did not hear my neighbours at all. The only drawback is quite steep climb. If I was using my old minivan I probably would be able to climb the road. Otherwise – highly recommend, especially for budget-minded travelers.

Really great view and very clean rooms. There was even a stove top and mugs/plates/utensils/pots/pants etc to use plus a full sink and fridge. Dog friendly.

An adorable motel with a beautiful view. The owner/manager was very accommodating and pleasant. As we arrived brand new mattresses were being delivered, and they were quite comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Good enough of you need a bed while you work.

Great location in town, everything nearby. Rooms are clean and spacious with basic amenities.

The manager shoveled 8" snow to create a path for us to get down to our car, after it snowed overnight and let us borrow the snow shovel to dig our car out of a snow pile. $80.50/night Canadian. Wi-Fi fast enough to watch Netflix. Some rooms great harbor views. Clean but older rooms.

Staff were great, smallish room with a kitchenette. Was great for my husband and I. Was enough room for us to set up the playpen for our son to sleep in (8 months old). He had a blast crawling after us throughout the room. Only downside is the driveway/parking lot is fairly steep as the entire place is built up a hill, made for GREAT views of sunrise and sunset though.

Central location and great views. Other than that this place is second rate. I think they try but clearly not hard enough. Only stayed one night and if I come back I'll look elsewhere.
