The Resort is in a beautiful setting on the lake. The one and two bedroom suites are really nice and comfortable. We come for a weekend every September. Love love love it here!

I love it Here! Best service and awesome rooms. We arrived yesterday again and had treats and bowls for my dog awaiting as well as a personal letter welcoming us back with complimentary wine. Like wow! So clean and well maintained also. Best place!

Overall, we were very disappointed in our stay. We wanted a nice getaway for our 7th anniversary and the heated pool sounded like a relaxing way to spend the day with our 4 month old baby. Unfortunately, to say that the pool is heated is terribly misleading. It was very cold. We tried the pool on both the day we arrived and before we left. On both occasions, we overheard numerous guests talking to each other about how cold the water was. Both times, we let the front desk know that we were not happy with our stay. The first time, they said the pool was supposed to be 26 degrees, the second time they said the pool was set at 25 degrees. When checking out, the lady at the desk admitted that she also thought it was too cold, but that is what maintenance had set it to. They were happy to charge my credit card in full. I was hoping to spend the day enjoying the water with husband and baby, but we just ended up inside watching TV the whole time. I won't ever stay here again, this is was just a glorified hotel room and not at all worth the money.

Great for families, staff were awesome, helpful and pleasant, beautiful scenery and location, quite enjoyed our week.

Great service, Sonia the front desk clerk was amazing. We have been staying regularly as we build a house nearby. Feels like a second home.

We booked the Relaxation Artists package and it was wonderful! A bottle of wine was in our room when we arrived and they delivered breakfast to our door at our own selected time; hot breakfast sandwiches and more was such a treat! Friendly staff that clearly care about maintaining the suites — very clean.
A beautiful Lakeview with an amazingly comfortable king sized bed was just what we needed. We'll be back for the beautiful rooms and lovely atmosphere!

Wow. Even during harsh smoke from forest fires this place really impressed. Nice views. Lots of gorgeous beaches. Family friendly. Slow days by the pool. Awesome food nearby. Wineries. Distilleries. Orchards. We will return.

The resort blew our expectations away! From the beautiful grounds, the great hospitality, the great customer service and most importantly Karen the wedding coordinator was FANTASTIC and we couldn’t have done it without them! They made our wedding dreams come true and exceeded all of our expectations! We walked away already planning to come back for our one year anniversary and all of our guests are scheduling when to return as well. We are so lucky to be able to say that we had our wedding at this resort. Everything was beautiful!

Just came from spending our 8 year wedding anniversary at this hotel & spa. Great atmosphere. Nice to be right on the lake. Short walk to a local park, helpful/friendly front end staff. However Wasn’t able to enjoy the pool as it was full of kids the majority of the time and closed for one of he evenings & wish that there were gift shops in the area. Only one left in Penticton. (those would be my only real disappointments. ) That being said, Would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is supurb. The staff are friendly and the rooms are very clean. We travel with young kids and the resort went above and beyond beyond by providing a crib and blankets without even asking! We could leave what we packed in the car! There are plenty of things to do nearby. Wine tasting, water sports, food!

Resort was enjoyable. Our room lead right out to the pool. We were gifted our stay by family. We were also rewarded a gift certificate to Zia's Stonehouse or the Local grill. They could not switch the gift card to the Local grill when we requested a change. Front desk told us they could not make the switch because the one restaurant did not have any gift cards which I found strange. Would have been 4 or 5 stars if they could have been more accommodating with their promotions.

This was a beautiful resort with VERY friendly staff & dog friendly. I accidentally booked a small room with a road view, I called right away to the front desk and they changed us to a lake view 1 bedroom king room. It was amazing. And they were so nice to my dog! Can't wait to come back!

This is our 3rd visit at the resort. Friendly staff, great amenities, and clean room. It is located right by lake and there are plenty of water activities to do. A boat rental store near by.

Beach access. Outdoor BBQ, but no corresponding picnic area on the south end. Outdoor hot tub. Pleasant, quiet location, convenient to Skaha climbing area.

We got away from home for one night the suite we had we very nice clean and comfy. Heated secured parking it was in the winter so very relaxing and quiet. Pretty sure it is packed during the summer it is.

Stay here at least once a year. Very warm and friendly staff. Accommodations and grounds are very well maintained. Would recommend to everyone!

We were at a special event and were pleasantly surprised by their lovely meeting room. Staff were super helpful, outside spaces take advantage of the spectacular location and the lobby is very nice.

This place was really nice! The room and lobby were both very clean. The hot tub was open and a perfect temperature. The only thing I wasn't so keen on was that the parking garage was quite tight.

The location is very good however not much around the resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

Great deals during the off season. Staff are always amazing and the view from our suite is incredible, even if it's spattered with snow.

Stayed 3 nights. While staying no one answered the front desk phone, the purpose of the call was to ask someone to clean the room, (their procedures) called again to ask to get room cleaned. No one ever cleaned room. I went down for breakfast, restaurant had no actual stove, no bread, no oatmeal, no basic menu or means to boil a egg. The bath tub in room took 30 minutes to fill only half way with luke warm water. The linens and decor very dated. Then to completely blow this stay out of the water, they overcharged me and when I called, the manager hung up on me. My advice stay somewhere else! Service beyond unprofessional.

Rooms are clean and well decorated. Kitchen is a plus factor as the family can prepare own food. Wish there was an indoor pool when temperature/weather is colder. A bigger lakeside access would be great too.

In one word: excellent. Clean and spacious rooms, complete with kitchenette. Various types of rooms with lake view, swimming pool or street front (however not very busy). Prices high but in line with location and services offered. Possibility to rent canoes, motorboats and jet skis. Adjoining restaurant perfect as location and food (as in many Canadian rooms not accessible with children after 9pm).

Very well equipped rooms with kitchenette and a fireplace. The decor is standard but you can clearly see that the rooms are relatively recently refurbished. The nice thick duvet will keep you toasty plus a very good coffee maker will make you want to spend more time in the room. There is a cafe and a restaurant on site, which is very handy if you are tired.

We spent the weekend… a time out… took walks along the lakeshore… enjoyed a nice view from our suite. The dog was welcomed with treats and dishes AND the ladies at front desk were absolutely wonderful.

Came here for a 3 day stay and work event in the ballroom. Everything was fantastic — friendly & helpful staff, great facilities and value. Am sure I'll be staying here again!

The staff here were very friendly and the rooms were reasonably clean (the difficult spots might be hiding some dirt, lost something temporarily on the floor and noticed the accumulation of dirt under the sofa but can't fault them for that) and the place is quite dog friendly. However, the layout of the resort rooms are somewhat unusual. Half of the main building rooms can only access the elevators by going down open air hallways/walkways. The odd thing about the resort is that the food is all independently owned so there is no room service so be sure to plan to make use of the kitchenettes within the rooms. The nearby bar/restaurant closes at 10 pm and the cafe in the lobby is open 7am-3pm (both provide good food though). The only thing somewhat disappointing was the quality of the lakefront area. The nearby public beach area is seemingly nicer then what they have near the resort. However, I was there near end of season so it might be more maintained earlier n the summer. Overall had a pleasant stay and quite enjoyed the pool which was well-stocked with towels and kept clean.

Was here for a wedding. The staff were very kind and the facilities were wonderful.

We made a same day booking at the hotel on a Saturday. The pool deck was covered in garbage, and there was a pop can floating in the pool. Our room had dark, moist stains all over the carpet. We were in the hotel for a total of 20 minutes and they wouldn't give us our money back. I feel like they stole 300 dollars from us. The management hasn't responded to any of my polite messages. Stay somewhere else!

This place is a true world class destination. Being right on the lake is amazing. The hotel is modern and the staff are great. The pool is amazing and lake access is easy and well thought out. Highly recommended!

Pretty good experience! only 2 things! you can hear ppl walking and yelling from your room and the pool is only 3-5 feet deep which was kind of a let down but overall great area and fantastic boat rentals!

This resort is a great vacation place for families. It has a dock which is great if you plan to go on the lake and the hotel provides complimentary bikes which are awesome for riding around Summerland! The rooms are very nice and the views of the lake are incredible!

We just had the chance to stay for a night and it was the perfect family getaway! We took our 4 kids and stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. The room was beautiful and spacious, the beds were comfortable. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The best part was being able to relax on our own patio once the kids were asleep. We can't wait to come back without the kids to explore some nearby wineries.

We stayed in room 233 for an overnight stay. The rooms were very clean, the facility is beautiful, the location was amazing and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back again.

Had an incredibly relaxing stay here. Definitely get a view room and wake up to the sound of the birds in the morning. Can't wait to come back.

Had a great three night stay (family with 2 younger kids) here. Staff are friendly and helpful the entire hotel is very clean and full kitchen (with all the utensils and such you'll need) in rooms is nice to have. Located right on the lake and close enough to the highway but we'll below it so it's quiet. Do be aware if you are coming off-season as the pool and little Caffè in the hotel will be closed. Also, not a knock on the hotel (they don't mention it on their website, my mistake for not checking with them first) but another reviewer I saw talked about secured bike storage in the hotel — there is not. I would definitely stay here again.

Lively stay for the night. The pool wad unfortunately under construction, but the hot-tub was lovely. Found the off-season price to be a little high, all considering, also, strange selection of spa/massage treatments, especially for men. My girlfriend took me here for my birthday. All in all, a lovely place — will probably airbnb next time we come down.

The service was great and the room were amazing. Summerland is beautiful and being right on the water is nice. I highly recommend this resort.

The bed was mighty comfy. Winery tour by Top Cat Tours was very pleasant. Visited during autumn, will come back in summer to enjoy the small private beach and boating activities!

We are so happy with our decision to stay at the Summerland Waterfront Resort. There are no other spots in Summerland that even compare! Right on the water with a private boardwalk, beach and upscale restaurant. The staff was very helpful and friendly and had a good sense of humor which made our stay a little more personal. As much as the hotel met and exceeded our expectations, we were also very pleasantly surprised at how close we were to a public playground, water/spray park and covered picnic area with large grassy playing field which was right on the beach! Perfect Family hotel, perfect location and you can't beat the September weather.

Great service and very nice resort. Rooms were nice and views were great. Nice walk along seawall to two great swimming beaches. (very close to the resort) Nice for families! Would stay again.

Great place with private beach and boating services. It is relatively new construction so you it still has smell of a new resort. Service is good, rooms are clean, Local restaurant is delicious.
