If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would. Friend and I got into Summerland at 1:45 in the morning and needed a place to stay. We phoned seemingly every motel/hotel/etc in the area and got no answer. The owner of the Rosedale woke up to take our phone call and to check us in for the night in the last room available. And he did this all with a smile and with professionalism. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and you cannot beat the exceptional service. Thank you to the owners and the housekeeping staff for doing a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend staying at the Rosedale if you happen to find yourself in Summerland.

For a small boutique private motel this one is awesome! Pool, clean rooms walking distance to everything. Cottages for family or pets. Beautiful location. Great little getaway place that doesn't kill the bank card.

Clean place, was able to get a room easy at 1:30am and got what I payed for. It’s nothing fancy, dated and older but clean and comfortable. For a place to lay my head it was great.

Motel clean and mostly updated. Price seems a little high, particularly when you add the taxes. We would look for something a little less expensive in the future.

My friend from the states had a horrible experience with this motel. Staff is incredibly rude and did not give him proper information before booking his room. Upon cancellation of the room, they charged his credit card for the full price of the room and did not allow for a refund. They claimed this to be a "learning experience" and reprimanded him for not "asking the right questions" as that was apparently his responsability as someone who has never booked a room before in his life. Avoid this place at all costs.

We booked a night's stay over the phone for a regular room with 2 double beds. Just looking for a place to sleep while traveling. When we arrived for check-in we were told that the room was going to cost more than what we were told on the phone because they only had a room with 2 queen beds and a kitchenette. When we questioned this the woman at the desk was adamant that "I CANNOT give you this room at the price you were quoted… but the room is bigger and nicer. " We were quite taken aback as most places would have at least given us the (only) available room at the price we were quoted over the phone. We didn't use any of the amenities (pool;kitchenette) and had a terrible night's sleep in a room that smelled of smoke (even though it was supposed to be non-smoking) on beds that had very uncomfortable thick foam toppers on them. The linens smelled strongly of bleach so I knew they were clean, however, in the evening when I pulled back the bedding on one bed the bottom sheet showed many stains… Eeeew! (Interestingly, these stains were not particularly visible during daylight, but not a very nice thing to see right before getting into bed — — I told one of the cleaners the next morning that the sheet should be disposed of. ) The best thing about this motel is its location.

Great place. Close to everything Summerland has to offer. Pool relaxing but water was cold.

One bedroom cottage is very nice and clean. Pool area has enough lounge chairs and umbrellas. Pool is very cold though. We found it refreshing. Great stay we would recommend this motel.

It is very clean and the cottage is delightful. The staff is friendly and pleasant. The pool is clean nd refreshing.

From photos and the fact that it is a motel, I wasn't too excited about staying here. But was very happy with our stay. It was Clean in and out, quiet and relaxing, and the pool was a perfect temp for the hot summer days. Will be staying here again for sure.

We booked here and the motel did not get our request for a ground floor room. When we showed up, the motel was fully booked and my mother could NOT do the stairs to the second level. They were so nice and did not charge us a cancellation fee for the room, as we had to stay elsewhere.

Location of the hotel is great, walking distance to downtown summerland. The people are friendly and the rooms are clean.

You will be charged full price if you cancel less then 7 days before your stay. I wanted to support a local hotel but will stick to Best westerns and sandman from now on. 7 days? are you kidding.

The staff was helpful and courteous. The rooms are labelled non-smoking but the room smelled of smoke. The room had a queen bed and a single bed. The queen bed was so hard I had to sleep on the single bed. The location is certainly convenient though.

The place is a bit older so it's not fancy. Other than that, if you need a place to sleep with a comfy bed, by all means come here.

I didn't stay here, was just visiting family from out of town.

This motel has very comfortable beds. Good motelfor for the money.

My eldest daughter, myself, my youngest daughter and her boyfriend were in town for a wedding, and we stayed two nights here. The staff were MORE than helpful, the beds very comfortable, and we had no complaints! Thanks for making a special occasion even more special! We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and great neighbourhoods! Room is pretty big and has brand new TV and Wi-Fi! Also people are very friendly.

Rosedale was an unexpected surprise. The valley is full of pricey places, especially if you're a family. This motel was reasonably priced. Each room has a small kitchenette, a flat screen, memory foam mattress covers and more. They are quiet, clean and cozy. The rooms are quite large for the price. Highly recommended for a family or someone satying for a few days.
