This hotel is top notch. But the pool is cold. It’s supposed to be warm. But not my standards. Everyone was very helpful. The rooms are impeccable. It’s is very quiet. And it is a beautiful place to stay.

We only stayed for 1 night and it was the most amazing experience. From the beautiful lobby, to the safety of needing a room key to use the elevator and the beautiful rooms. We spent our evening in the lobby bar and ended with cocktails in the dance club also conveniently located at the hotel. The next morning they held our bags and shuttled us to a restaurant for brunch. The driver was gracious enough to go inside the restaurant and check the wait time which was an hour so he drove us to a different restaurant and we got seated immediately. The customer service was above and beyond.

A wonderful hotel although becoming a little bit dated. A light renovation will bring it back to its former elegance. The location is perfect within all the best area of Vancouver to see be it on a business or personal trip. The staff if very dedicated and helpful making your stay very special.

My husband and I stayed here in early May 2018, and had a beautiful time. Every single staff member we interacted with was extremely kind, helpful, and efficient. We arrived very early, and they secured our luggage while we went sightseeing. When we came back our room was ready, and they were kind enough to have our luggage already in our room waiting. The room was lovely and very well kept. The bathroom was stunning, and the bed was so very comfortable. Even though the streets were busy outside, the room was very quiet and relaxing. We ended up having dinner in the room, and food arrived timely and was very good. We were extremely happy with our stay, and have already recommended the hotel to several friends. We plan to also return ourselves the next time we are in Vancouver. Thank you to the staff for a great memory!

Great Hotel in downtown Vancouver — the old world charm is complemented with very professional and friendly staff, and excellent cafe and restaurant and good size rooms with all the amenities you could need. It is located close to the train station that goes to the airport — very convenient. The bathrooms are amazing, I love the shower (did not want to get out) … coffee and tea facilities in room are first rate. Internet service is good. Highly recommended for a business stay or a romantic getaway in Vancouver.

We attended for a wedding. About 100 people. It was beautiful and everything went very smoothly. It was comfortable. The food was delicious. One of the best weddings I've been to.

I was there for a wedding. The place and area was nice and elegant. Air conditioning was good. But elevators don't go to second level after a certain time. Only to the lowest level. The elevators are also slow. Sablefish was amazing, beef was okay. But portions are small. The suite rooms are extremely nice. And the washroom is huge. Service for the wedding was also really good.

Everything you would expect. Service is top notch of course. Food also top notch. I got the burger and as a burger enthusiast I would have to put it as my top 10. My lady got the steak and the best part was the short rib that comes with it. Delicious! For desert I had the creme freche which I would go back just for that alone 7 days a week. All in all it's highly recommended.

This is one of the finest hotels I have stayed in recently. Beautifully renovated elegant rooms, impeccable service and a central location. I was sad to leave, I cannot remember the last time I had that feeling about a hotel.

I met friends from out of town at Hawksworth for some late-night beverages. The lounge was sophisticated in its design. The ambiance was perfectly conducive to catching up with old friends where we didn't have to shout over each other. The staff were attentive. There were excellent wine and cocktail options.

As locals, my partner and I love going to the 1927 Lounge in the lobby for a smart cocktail and visit. The service never disappoints. Summer brings the Reflections roof deck to mind and you can certainly find us there on most weekends. Whether visiting or as a local, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia is an urban oasis.

My wife and I stayed at the suite earlier last month and it was a gorgeous hotel. All the staff there are so kind and we even got a ride to our dinner reservation in the hotel town car. The room is beautiful and honestly just an all around amazing hotel. The pool and gym is also an amazing part of the hotel. We definitely will be returning for our next staycation in Vancouver.

Overall, had an excellent stay at Hotel Georgia. Staff was welcoming, especially the lady at check out was very friendly and helpful. Concierge was also great — booked Minami for dinner and had arranged for a surprise from the kitchen — outstanding service. Gym and pool are nice and spacious, not crowded either. Rooms are well equipped. Would recommend to add shower heads to the showers — missing currently and should have multi-purpose plugs including usb chargers. Also be aware that the staff is a bit pushy in terms of selling upgrades at check in. Didn't make us feel particularly good as it was a bit annoying but on the other hand the only negative experience so wouldn't rate this as an issue but a point of improvement. Thank you.

The ballroom was huge and the design was great. The service during the event was impeccable. The only downside was the food as several items tasted weird and this was the opinion of most people that attended the event (more than a hundred people).

I recommend this hotel by the quality of its staff, its positioning and its beautiful swimming pool.

Was at the bar for a social gathering with coworkers. Great atmosphere even though it was a small place hidden away. Staff were accommodating even though we had a fairly large group.

Went for our third wedding reception at this venue. Nice open area, good food, good service staff, good valet service. I came with a baby, and wish there was a better area for changing. I used the family washroom, but it was a little tight on the granite counter. Otherwise it was a great experience, but I believe if you're hosting it's quite a bit pricey. But it's probably worth it.

Some sketchy people threw some jello cups into the pool and I saw in it. The jello tasted pretty funny but had a yellow tint to it so I don't know. Pretty great hotel and I can not wait until I go back again. I really recommend swimming with the jello cups. 10/10 would go again.

This was definitely one of our best hotel experiences ever. The location is amazing, the hotel is beautiful, and we can't say enough positive things about the staff at the Hotel Georgia. The entire concierge team helped us before we got there by answering my overwhelming number of questions and securing reservations at some incredible restaurants. Then while we were there they checked on us and gave us some great recommendations for things to do and ways to see/explore Vancouver. They added a few nice touches throughout our stay that didn't cost them much but that had a major impact on my wife and me. Gerardo on the concierge team was fantastic and personable, and Luis at the front desk was always a joy to visit with and couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating. These two really made us feel welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay and led us to some great spots in Vancouver. We will definitely be back to stay at this amazing place. Thanks to the entire team for a memorable stay in Vancouver!

Everything about this hotel is as close to perfection as possible. From the rooms to the staff to the restaurants, attention has been shown to making everything beautiful and hospitable for the guest. Everyone who works here seems, justifiably proud of what they do and the setting they have created. Stay here and you can relax and will enjoy the experience.

Very enjoyable stay, staff and housekeeping were great. Good location central in the city. Only downside was that for my stay over Christmas (which had been booked since August), no one told us that the restaurant was fully booked. When we asked if we needed a reservation front desk said they didn't think so, but the restaurant turned us away for not having a table reserved (a bit annoying for Xmas morning when other options were very limited. )

Had a company dinner at the private room at hawksworth. The appetizer, main and dessert were really well done. Overall really enjoyed the food. The waiters were very diligent and provided really good service. Room was well decorated and properly lit. Great night out overall.

Had a great time. Food was good. I understand markups on alcohol… but being charged 50% of the cost of a bottle of whisky for a double shot is sorta outrageous. … and I didn't even order anything special.

Visited the hotel to interview Mr. Payam their procurement manager, he was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. During our interview, a lounge server brought us water without having been asked to. She was proactive in meeting our needs before we even knew we needed it. It was impressive.

In addition to what I had written previously, the hotel also offers large rooms with a several large halls and rooms for events. The lobby decor is top notch and even includes an optical illusion in the lobby to keep you busy for a while. The lobby offers many comfortable seats if you are planning on waiting for some people too.

It has one of the best bars I have attended, The Prohibition, is of a lot of luxury and a lot of quality, everyone treats you as if they know you for years and you are good friends.
As I said it is luxury and equally the prices but the good time you are going to spend, it is well worth it.
I promise to come back.

Had lunch at the casual Bel Cafe inside Hotel Georgia. The tomatoem soup was tasty, as were our sandwiches. The coffee creamer curdled in our cups, which was disconcerting. The server offered an excuse before offering to replace the coffee. Overall a good but not great dining experience inside the beautiful hotel.

I attended reflections on a Saturday night for my friend's birthday party. Her boyfriend had called in two days before to make a reservation. The lady on the phone explained to him Saturday nights they do not take reservations frok people not staying at the hotel but at 5pm they are normally not busy and they would have space for us for a party of 8. At 5pm we arrived at reflections only to find out they were cleaning up after a wedding reception and they would not be open until 6pm. We explained to the host the situation and that birthday girl was going to be here in about 15 mins. She told us there is nothing she could do. We then asked to make a reservation for 6pm, as there was other guests that were waiting to get in. We were told again since we were not guests they could not make a reservation for us and again there was nothing they could do for us. We later came back at 6 pm. We were seated, and served right away. The waitress and food was both amazing. The overall experience once we were at reflections was good. Our group was all just disappointed in the initial customer service, considering it was a Suprise party.

The cozy yet upscale 1927 Lobby Lounge is located just in the lobby area of Hotel Georgia. Its stylish ambience should not be off-putting for those looking for a more casual outing as the staff are very accommodating. I enjoyed the Hotel Georgia cocktail immensely and would have had seconds and thirds were I not working the next morning. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying other cocktails amongst other items on the menu. P. S. The only negative of the visit was what appeared to be fungal growth on the pillows. An unsightly discovery in any setting let alone an upscale location as this.

This is a lovely destination. Great staff throughout. Rooftop bar is awesome, hawkworth restaurant is great, the coffee shop is fabulous, and the hotel bar, tucked away in a corner is truly a gem (get the barman making cocktails! )

Great atmosphere! The layout in the lounge had a comfortable seating arrangement for cocktails with friends. It was well spaced out to allow good conversation, while having a superlative staff to make sure we were taken care of.

Before we'd even reached the front desk to register, my daughters asked why everyone here was so nice! These staff go above and beyond and beyond and beyond for their guests. My 10-year-old has been leaving notes in our room through the day and the staff are responding. She's thrilled! The turn-down service at night is awesome and they've left us plates of cookies three times today!

Very nice rustic feel. Service was nice and comforting, location in the heart of Vancouver. Good cheap public parking around the corner for the entire day was 15 bucks.

Beautiful hotel! Went here for a wedding and what a stunning venue. All of the staff worked really hard in the background while guests enjoyed a world class wedding. Decor was awesome and food and drinks were amazing!

The hotel was beautiful with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was a bit smaller than expected, but still a beautiful area. The bedding, mainly the pillows were very nice. So nice that I have ordered the pillows for my home.

This hotel is a historic gem in the heart of the city. Fully restored and modernized, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia has a great lobby lounge where we had awesome old fashioned cocktails, and a little street front cafe with sandwiches and delicious macarons. We live in Vancouver haven't stayed in the rooms but frequently visit the hotel's restaurants and lounges. Be sure to check out the hidden outdoor lounge on the 4th floor (only open during summer).

It was amazing. Great drinks and crazy delicious food in a gorgeous setting. The open space is gonna be great for the summer, the heat lamps are wonderful and the accommodations are excellent. Service was spot on and recommendations were solid. Can't wait for the punch bowls and frozen cocktails to start uo.

Hotel is fantastic, the only reason I have given it a 4 over a 5 is I had alot of issues with the Wi-Fi which I heavily rely on to keep in contact with work and family. If Wi-Fi is not an issue for you then my review is a 5. The rooms are very relaxing with everything you need in them, pool and gym are great. Even the dining in the hotel itself is good.

I had a great staycation here in the summer. I really loved the design of the room. It had a modern vintage feel to it. Their clientele is more towards the boomers, but that's ok if you're looking to relax. Went to Reflections for lunch. It's an open air lounge that had a Miami lounge feel to it. Drinks were great, food were ok. It wasn't busy for lunch, so you can stay there and hang out for a long time. The Hawksworth restaurant was great as well — the lamb ravioli was to die for. I recommend dressing up a bit, otherwise you'll feel underdressed. I also tried the spa. It was a nice ambiance, but it doesn't offer a variety of amenities unlike Fairmont Pacific Rim (no sauna, steam shower, jacuzzi, etc). The waiting room is also very small and very quiet. It's a nice place to go alone, but not so great if you're with others.

Decent property, poor reservation system! The hotel does not have an in house reservation department, they transfer the call to a Rosewood hub in Dallas. There is no area on the website for special requests, to indicate pets, etc. Nothing for room location preference. I find the reservation arrangement quite poor given the Rosewood brand. Fairmont provides a much more personalized level of service online when making a booking. I often have clients from out of town and having a background in event planning and tourism, I reconfirm bookings. My most recent booking at Hotel Georgia (although having been given a verbal confirmation) was not registered. This is not the level of service one would expect from a 5 star property. I do enjoy the hotel and it's amenities! Service is excellent at the hotel level ~ Rosewoods, booking system is dissapointing!

Hands down the best hotel in Vancouver. Great product with even better service. The lounge and bar seemed like a much better environment than the restaurant but the restaurant has great food. There is even a house car that will take you around town on a scheduled basis.

I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past two years. Each time I've stayed here, the last being our wedding anniversary, has been excellent. The customer service is second to none. The rooms are the best hotel rooms I've ever been in. The gym is well equipped, and a very nice indoor pool. The only thing missing is an outdoor pool and steam room. All of the food, restaurants to room service, was perfect. You get more than what you pay for.
