Great place to rest while we waited for our cruise the following day! Loved that it was near a breakfast place, but not near many other attractions. Cabs weren't too pricey and there's a bus stop right outside the main entrance (we took a cab though since we didn't have much time to visit). The concierge is very helpful too.

The outside doesn't look like much and I was wondering what we'd be getting. Once we went inside the desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. There is a White Spot on site which we found convenient. We were staying as our little one had an early morning appointment at BC Children's Hospital for the next day. The hotel is a short easy drive to the hospital. I would stay there again.

You can sleep cleanly and comfortably here, and they have a shuttle to and from the airport 24hrs/day if you are involved in early or late airline flights. They also give you a $10 voucher for the attached White Spot downstairs. Otherwise, not a particularly notable hotel.

I don't think much thought was out into the design for the parking and how to drive to this hotel. Our navigation brought us right to the hotel but the was no signage for where to go from there. No parking lot sign or girl guests park here. There was also a dog that didn't stop barking all night.

Travelled from Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal via transit. Easy and cost effective. 257 express, Canada line and very short bus to front of hotel. Room good, free airport shuttle on the half hour. 10 min max time to airport. Hotel is clean, modernized. Definitely meet my needs.

Service was great. Room clean. Beds are a bit lumpy. Sheets and towels are soft and clean. It looks newly remodeled. White spot restaurant is good. A bit pricey, but the close location is worth it. Must pay for parking around $10 a day and there's a walk to the lobby.

Terrific little hotel with a free shuttle to and from the airport. It only took us 6 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel at 9:30 on a Thursday night. Everything was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we were in was small but it was clean and provided all that we needed.

Clean comfortable quiet room. Stayed here one night before cruise. They had airport shuttle which was good. Restaurant near lobby was good. Food and service good. Only downside was location. There is literally nothing to see or do in this area unless you have a car. There is a bus stop out front if you wanted to take that around town.

Poor location and inconvenient parking, restaurant food is good, counter service personnel difficult to communicate and coordination, room pattern weird double room cannot place two people baggage.

I was pleasantly surprised with our room as it had modern feel to it. Very clean & nice. Batbroom was a bit on the small side but very modern. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Close to everything. Would definately staff here again!

Convenient to the airport. They have a complimentary shuttle, but they fill up fast, make sure to get there early. Rooms were clean, service was good.

Great experience with the Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel! Staff were kind and gladly helped me make a last-minute photocopy for an urgent job interview. The room was very clean and quiet. Although parts of the hotel appear older, they remodeled some parts so the environment was relaxing. All in all it was a great place for a great price, given how close it was to the airport, UBC, and downtown Vancouver.

Rooms are clean and I enjoy my overnight stay. It would have been nicer if the pub had its own food selection but the hotel makes you order from its White Spot menu and I’m not a fan. We had to go to a pub around the block which was very nice but my point being I had to leave to enjoy a beer.

The hotel was nice and close to the airport. We had our flight canceled and called at midnight for a room and courtesy shuttle. They were prompt and courteous. Rooms were clean and a decent price. Didnt stay very long but would return if in Vancouver again.

Clean and good for an over night stay with easy access to airport. Lobby and bathrooms recently renovated. Room was a bit small but ok. Not sure what's going on with the monster bank of fluorescent tube lighting for the main room light? Harsh, white light and bright enough to perform surgery! Otherwise generally good.

Coast Vancouver is a type of hotel you want to stay if you want to spend your last night in Vancouver right by the airport. Type of hotel that you just want to get it over with. Type of hotel that's cheap, but not really. Service is whatever, average. Location is great, they offer complimentary shuttle to the airport but beware if you have a rental car or any car you will pay them 30 bucks a day for overnight parking, in a "park at your own risk" parking lot in a shady looking area. Rooms are modern-ish, average size but still have a motel vibe to them. Breakfast not included but they do share their walls with a restaurant and bar if you want a late night drinks or early breakfast which is convenient.

We had to book a room three. A bit expensive for what it is. Not all taxes are indicated as soon as the reservation is booked. And we saw ourselves charged 2 times, once my friend and once I, we always wait after more than 3 months, refund! I really do not advise.

Where do I start? We couldn’t find the parking entrance to begin with. When going at night, it’s almost impossible to find, not well lit. The lobby is nice. As for the rooms, marks all over the walls, the shower had stains and such on the ceiling, the toilet never stopped running. One of our beds was so used it would squeak whenever you moved, and it was smaller than our other one. It just seemed they took a very old building, did a bad paint job, and put some modern furniture in. We also got charged twice, which on top of the stay, didn’t help. Also, the doors don’t shut properly. They charge $13/day for parking in the smallest lot I’ve ever seen. They should not leave this on the Coast’s reputation, they should just make it a motel 6. I guess for a layover hotel by the airport, it wouldn’t seem so bad. But staying there for a weekend… the Accent Inn over the bridge was way better than this!

A decent hotel to spend the night. It is not pretty or in good area. Very good restaurant.

Decent place for a long layover. Clean and quiet. A bit long in the tooth and will probably need a renovation in a few years, but still serviceable. Staff aren't the friendliest, but efficient and professional. But do you care? Is this Club Med, or a refuge from airport couches?

A $50 deposit was taken out of my credit card on the 1/09/2017. I checked out of this hotel on the 2/09/2017. It is now the 27/9/2017 and I still haven't received my deposit back. I have made 4 phone calls and sent 5 emails regarding the matter. On the first phone call I was told to call my bank, so I did. The bank provided me with detailed instructions for the hotel to follow which I passed along (which they should have already known). It's now the 27/9/2017 still nothing has been done about it, I'm still making calls from Australia and sending emails which receive no response.

It is a good hotel and you have some excellent rooms.

I needed to be close to the airport and this hotel was very close. Staff was helpful and polite. I arrived early and was accommodated. Clean room. Not a fancy place but I had no complaints. Free airport shuttle service much appreciated.

You know whats kind of dumb? advertising that your a pet friendly hotel but not actually having pet friendly rooms. If you only have 1 pet friendly room in the entire building that doesn't exactly promote a friendly atmosphere.

Descent stay, but lack of breakfast and coffee in the morning was a bummer. We were offered a free pickup from the airport, which is only 10 min away, but it took 45 min-1 hour to get picked up. Not bad all in all, but a few tweaks could have made this a better stay.

I stayed here for two non-consecutive nights, and all I can really say is that it's sort of kind of sufficient. The first room had a broken shower, which we didn't notice until the morning when we tried to use it. The second room had a toilet that become increasingly inefficient at flushing. I know everything in Vancouver is way too expensive, and you're probably tempted to go with the cheap option, but for your own sake, spend a few more dollars elsewhere.

Efficient courteous transportation from airport to hotel every 30 min.

Updated furnishings with lots of plug-ins for power and usb. 5 star comfort bedding. Though some rooms noisy, most have been very quiet, as in no overnight sounds through ceiling or walls. Decent breakfast from White Spot in lobby. Hotel is most convenient for getting to the airport. When arriving expect some delays during peak period. Though staff manage the desk well.

Rooms were nice, beds super comfy… Helped that "white spot" was in the hotel. Air conditioning was a disaster, I tried everything to work the AC in my room didn't work, called front desk staff said they would arrange for something else, they never did.

Room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The cost was reasonable. Front staff were helpful. Close to airport. The shuttle was a bit of a rough ride — but hey you can't really complain if its free.

The room was alright but the service was terrible. Not only was the receptionist rude in person, but he hung up on us twice as we called for the shuttle to pick us up as well. Not only that but he watched as an elderly couple struggled to load their baggage onto a cart (at which point I stepped in). The hotel itself was alright, close access to food and such but the service was terrible.

It is a good hotel for a one night stay for airport travel. The staff was extremely friendly. The common areas of the hotel can be a bit dated but the room was nice and comfortable.

Uncomfortable bed, confusing bathroom utilities, understaffed resturaunt, no friggin hottub understaffed bar. Although, clean room, clean hotel, friendly desk.

Worst hotel ever. Came here for a 3 day conference, which is supposed to accommodate free parking when you sign in your license plate at the front desk. I received a $100 parking ticket despite doing this. When I notified the front desk they, unapologetically said "you can dispute it" while staring at the computer. I found it quite rude and suggested they should be disputing it on behalf of their guests since they should be coordinating their free parking in some manner (ie. Supply a parking pass for the vehicle dash) The room was freezing cold as well, requested multiple times to fix it. Nothing. Horrible to be stuck here for 3 days with unfriendly and disorganized staff.

No internet available although I phoned twice about how to connect. Front desk had limited understanding of how to connect to Internet. Room was cold but clean upon arrival. Bathroom tiles moldy with missing grout seemingly awaiting renovation. Pretty disappointing for a coast hotel.

The hotel I would NEVER EVER stay in again. This place is not even up to a hotel standard and it is such a shame! We booked for 6 nights and decided to check out the next morning as soon as we walked into the room. The room was super tiny, lots of scratches on the walls, bathroom was really GROSS AND DISGUSTING, u can see black mold on the ceiling, bathtub, walls and corners. Everything is oldish! Honestly I didnt even wanna step in there if I didn't have to take a shower. PLUS, Front Desk agents were really rude and stupid! Me as a hotel FD manager would definitely retrain/ fire there people. Did not mention anything about facilities/directions upon check-in, didn't even offer any help, she just gave us the key and wanted us get out of her way. Not to mention they don't have a smile, they look like I owed them a millions. Night shift was even "better", when we asked where's the fitness centre, he said"i don't know. " when we asked if we can do a early check out next morning (update the booking), he said"I don't know. " Well, so what do you know? OMG, If you don't know, can you please go find out the answer! seriously! And I can tell he is not a new trainee, he wasnt ever shy or feel bad, he was just like "i don't know, and I am not going figure out so what? " I would call myself a patient and polite person since I personally working in a hotel and I know how frustrating it could be working at FD.

Recently stayed here after missing a flight. Needed a room with a fridge and they can through. I caught their free shuttle from YVR, and it was a 6 minute voyage with a friendly driver. Check in was quick and I went to my room, which was quiet and clean. I stayed here about 7 years ago and I can say that it was much better this time due to their recent renovations. Room was very clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant and pub at the hotel if you need them. Morning came and the shuttle whisked us quickly to the airport and I was on my way. Thank you for turning a lousy situation into a good one. Will stay again.

I'm an IT contractor that lives up north and comes down to work once a week so I have stayed here 4 or 5 times. This hotel fails on all the little stuff which amounts to a fairly poor experience. Good points: Close to transit and they have a airport shuttle Bad Points: Rooms are really old and outdated, many don't have lights working or bath tub drain plug doesn't fit. One room I stayed in had water leaking out of the toilet. None of the rooms I stayed in had a decent mattress, all were old and hard. Linens appear old as well. Elevator was down for one week I was there during one stay. One Elevator's "close door" button doesn't work. This is a little thing but its so annoying to stand and wait for the doors to close for 30 seconds If you stay in hotels a lot you appreciate a fast and modern elevator. Really poor Wi-Fi connection, don't plan on downloading any movies or maintain a stable skype call. I dealt with a lot of disconnections. As a IT guy this was a deal breaker for me. Robotic staff that don't seem that inspired to work there, I'm sure they are paid peanuts so doesn't surprise me. The whitespot restaurant attached was initially something I was looking forward too but seems the poor quality of the coast hotel leeched it's way into this restaurants management. Worst Whitespot I have been too. I only stay here when everything else is full and only because it's so close to one of my main clients.

Stay was ok, location is ok but the hotel charged us for smoking in the room a week after we left $250 because the seen rolling papers in my garbage that was all the proof they needed to steal my money and would't talk to me about it when I phoned to ask why and that we don't smoke. I wont be staying there ever again cock roaches.

It has been suck! Facilities and clerk were not bad, however, i'm still suffering from deposit problem. Clerk asked me to show my credit card, but I had to pay 100$ deposit instead of credit card because I didn't have it. Unfortunately, they have not been responded my email about deposit. It seems like they don't want to pay back my deposit.

I stayed in a "renovated" room but it is the cheapest renovation I have ever seen in a hotel: there are cracks in the wall, the windows are not sound proof which sucks being next to highway, the new bed is lumpy and I woke with a sore back every morning. Plus the bathrooms haven't been renovated: the sink and the toilet had a Cracks in them, the shower head is a $5 shower head that you would have found in the 1960's and the tub is an old steel tub. The renovations have been going on for more than a year now and there is construction debris strewn about the hotel. Even though this hotel is very close to where I have to work I am done with it. Never staying here again.

Good service, airport shurtle, a white spot attached, and good bus service. Everything I needed for an overnight on my way through Vancouver! Not amazing rooms, but clean and adequate.

Good if you just need to catch an early flight. Room smelled like mold and Wi-Fi connection was very poor.
