Clean room and hotel staffs are very approachable.

The staff are extremely courteous and attend to any problems fairly and promptly. It is not your typical hotel in that housekeeping services are not regular, but that is more than made up for with the reasonable price and services are available upon request.

Extremely Poor Customer Service! Denied to take my VISA and denied to take my cash to pay for $150 damage deposit! And on top of that, extremely judgmental and LAUGHED at me in front of other guests in the lobby! No sense of sympathy. I worked as a hotel clerk in the past and it was up to our discretion to allow a customer how to pay for the deposit. VISA had money. Chequing account had money. These 2 ladies refused to take both. Then some other laundry folding guy tried to act all macho to get involved. You can tell these customer service agents don't know anything about customer service — Or maybe not Canadian customer service, because I have never worked in Canada where its OK to laugh at a customer who already prepaid for his room. If I didnt have my kid with me and didnt want to go over the hassle of contacting Booking. Com for a new hotel I would have. Such a nice place on the outside but staff are tone deaf, have no sense of Canadian customer service, and think its OK to gaslight a customer who already paid. Will contact head office and will gladly share this appaling experience with everyone anywhere. Such a shame too, its a beautiful place just terrible insensitive staff!

An excellent hotel in downtown Vancouver. A spacious room with air conditioning and a good bed. We were able to place our rental car for 20 Canadian dollars a night in the underground car park. Free parking in the vicinity of the hotel is impossible because you are staying in the center and pay parking everywhere.

I booked a room here while travelling to Vancouver and was pretty disappointed. For the price I was hoping for better. The room was small, with a crappy view and what actually led me to leave the review is the actual in the room didn't work. It would turn off every 10 minutes. Id turn it on, it'd cool down the room and I'd fall asleep only to wake up in a sweat and have to get up and turn it on again.

Clean, comfortable rooms. No frills but the staff was super friendly and helpful. It is in a bit of an artsy/edgy neighborhood but within an easy walk to downtown and fun restaurants. Solid value for the price.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was nice and comfortable. Decent size bathroom. Location not to far from the shops. The is also a restaurant down off the lobby that you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner from it also has a small bar in it as well. The is also a 7/11 across the road and a another bar that has live music in it.

Clean, reasonably priced hotel. Excellent views of the city and easy access to nightlife. Rooms are modern and perfectly suited to temporary accommodation. Reception staff were friendly and happy to help with any enquiries. Undercover security parking is a bonus as there is limited parking in this area. Great spot for early morning exercise on the river.

Our room was clean, bed comfortable, and it included all the amenities needed for our stay. I found it to be pricey, but that is just the nature of Vancouver these days. I love that the penthouse-level rooms have little rooftop patios. That was a nice touch.

The rooms were very nice and clean and everything worked in the room. The service was phenomenal! We had to call because of a TV remote mix up and they were very nice and accommodating.

Central location between Granville Island and downtown. Bus stop just outside door and 7 Eleven across the road. The staff were really friendly. The gym while not big, was on the roof right next to a little balcony and a large share kitchen. The only downside was the noisy aircon. Plenty of storage space and a room safe, so overall, pretty good for a basic hotel.

It is a very central hotel, close to Granville and Yaletown, its rooms very comfortable and pleasant.

The room was nice and spacious, the location is excellent with proximity to one of the busiest streets and Granville Island. The amenities are nice and the breakfast was convenient. It is not a cheap place to stay, and check out is prohibitively early if you're looking to explore. They do, however, allow guests after checking out to leave baggage for a few hours. Overall a great if pricey choice.

Pretty standard hotel. It was nice but didn't really explore the property that much. Friends that did walk around said that there looked like some really cool places around the property.

An Okey hotel.
We booked this hotel because it was a good price But altso for the jacuzzi.
But sadly the jacuzzi dont work while We are here… But the staff is Nice And helpful, and they offer roomservice everyday. Since the jacuzzi dont work I only give it 3 stars.
Other notable things is that the area is nice with a lot of stores And food places, But there are many homeless people around the area And the streets smells marijuana and urin…

Nice cozy hotel. The hotel itself is simple and straightforward, with a restaurant attached that is accessible from the lobby, and offers a 10% discount with your room key. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated with a modern feel. The gym is limited, and separated from the kitchen by a partition. The hot tub was out of order during my stay. Kitchen looked clean, there's a patio to enjoy the nice weather. Rooms are cleaned fairly late in the afternoon if you don't put a tag on your door, but they're quick if you're there when they show up. Staff was courteous and check in/out was effortless. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend and stay again.

Nice Rooms, small gym on top, clean & chic kitchen. A good sized balcony top floor to wine & dine (No cover though). Location is Close to Entertainment area.

Well located in the heart of Vancouver, near Yaletown station on Davie St. The hotel has a kitchen for the hotel guests and can refrigerate their food to prepare them, next to it is a small gym and the Wi-Fi works very well and with good speed. Super comfy beds.

The place is spacious and nice. The lighting is a bit dim since there is no lighting all over the room. There is a lamp on the table. Small lamps by the bed and a fluorescent lamp behind the bed which is nice. The hotel provides a thermos, water, ice, coffee and tea. The place is not bad for the amount you pay. However, there is no hairdryer and the washroom fan makes a really loud ugly sound so I just ended up not turning it on. Otherwise, everything is good.

Like having a fridge, microwave, coffee maker in the bedroom. Nice having access to a sauna, even though the spa wasn't working. Personal nice and polite. However the common kitchen was always missing utensils, we had to buy our own. Rooms were not fully cleaned during our long stay. Looked like the room wasn't vacuumed as there was huge dust bunnies.

Pleasant rooms in a great location! Room was clean and had standard features. A little bit worn around the edges but didn't effect our stay. Sadly no opening windows in the room and the hot tub was shut down when we visited but still for a reasonable price it was a good room.

Great suite very comfy. White spot diner adjoined to hotel and as a guest you get 10% discount off the bill. Friendly staff. Close to Granville island ferry and bus no. 50 stops outside and will take you to waterfront and gas town.

Was a really nice hotel for a budget. I was very surprised as to how nice the amenities were. Only downside was the fire alarm went off about 10am our final morning, and it was only in our room.

I stayed two nights, the room clean, I do not give 5 stars that the curtain of the bathroom smelled bad, rotten clothes, and the guy at the front desk charged me a deposit for the umbrella, I returned and did not discounted to return it. (Nor did he warn me that he would have said deposit of $20! ). The hotel is close to everything, you can walk wherever you want. On the outside it is nice and the room I liked. Already inside the common areas are very old. Inside the room you have mini refrigerator and microwave.
If you want to park your car, have seats available at $20 a night.

I stayed at this hotel last night and my experience was terrible. I would not recommend staying here. There was no iron, ironing board, or hair dryer in our room. The worst part was that our room had BED BUGS. When we woke up in the morning, they were on the pillows, in the sheets, and even on the towel in the bathroom. I may look like a nice and clean hotel but don't let the look of it deceive you. The bed bugs were not just in one bed but they were in both beds. The staff member that came into the room didn't say much except that we should leave our clothes there and not take them home. Do not stay here!

Comfortable, we loved it.

The hotel was very attentive and the staff were very friendly and the location was very good. Hotel reservations with washing machines, rooms of ordinary size, comfortable beds, dresser and tables and chairs are just good, the bathroom is not large but the equipment is very complete, carpet clean will not have dirty things. Up and down the elevator or into the parking lot requires room card cards, save this done very well.

Good customer service. I noticed that they charged an additional Room Tax on my bill, so I ask for clarification. The front desk staff was very patient and gave me full explanation. There are no slippers in our room, I requested them and the staff gave them to me within a brief delay. The hotel room was clean in general.

Location was convenient to the waterfront and parks. Happened to view a film in progress which was a neat experience. The rooms were nice and spacious. No complaints.

There was a sweaty smell in the bathroom. Probably from a moldy shower curtain. This place was not cheap, no breakfast offered, but convenient to public transportation. One night I was waiting in line to get some coins for the dryer that took a long time to dry my clothes. Someone cut in line in front of me and went to a staff who spoke the same language (Japanese) as she did, she got the coins right away so I tried to do the same but I was told to wait. When I confronted that staff she said " sorry, I was busy" but wouldn't answer why she would help someone who spoke her language. I was furious. Not because I waited 20 minutes but because of this oversight. If everyone was treated the same this place wouldn't have gotten a bad review from me.

Stayed in a Queen Room. Very small room. We only stayed the night so it wasn't a problem, however I wouldn't want a room like that for an extended stay. There's good free Wi-Fi. Bed was comfortable. Only basic cable available. Room had a small fridge and microwave, coffee maker, alarm clock. That was about it. Even though the room was small and not supposed to be a wheelchair accessible room, I was still able to move my chair around the room without much difficulty. Located in downtown Vancouver so it's super convenient! You're minutes walk from pretty much anything and everything in the downtown core. There's also Transit right outside to make getting around even easier. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay if you're on a budget or just need a place to crash for the night.

Very Good location — close to shops and restaurants, walkable to Stanley Park and Yaletown-Roundhouse Station, friendly staff. Possible to get good views. Amenities also great — communal kitchen and fitness centre on the top floor. Rooms are good and no complaints. It is directly opposite a pub (Yale Hotel) and can rowdy on Friday/Saturday nights.

The good part is the central area.
However the hotel does not offer breakfast providing a voucher for the adjoining local offering only continental breakfast.

Stayed here for New Years Eve. Close to the Granville entertainment district. Rooms were clean.

We stayed here a few times. They include free breakfast vouchers and parking. We also used the complimentary bicycles to tour Stanley Park.

More than went out of their way, deliver our pillows to our hotel that we forgot, thank u so much! Awesome, clean rooms and very nice and helpful. They even delivered our pillows to the other best western we were staying at for free, went out of their way, thank you very much, thank you to you for helping us have a good nights sleep, beds are extremely comfortable. Couple negative things not much of a view, opened the curtains and construction workers right their, and having to pay for crummy parking.

PLEASE READ*****After reading some comments in the past I noticed that a couple of the profile pictures are of their staff. The 3.9 rating is most likely inflated by their staff being forced to add reviews. ********** I wish I could put zero. The location and hotel are fine but the customer service at the hotel are terrible. I arrived to Vancouver for a bachelor party and was told that I needed to pay for both rooms before checking into the room. I was confused since I only booked one room. Apparently the web site I used to booked two rooms under one reservation, I told them this was a mistake and I only needed one. The front desk employee (who was high on marijuana) couldn't comprehend why I was upset and got the manager. She explained the situation and since I was out of the cancellation policy she would only charge me for one-night. OH GREAT! instead of being charged $430 for a room I didn't need, I was only being charged $215. I paid the damn bill and went on with my night. The next day, we head down to breakfast. We go into a formal restaurant that has an agreement with the hotel to provide guests breakfast with a voucher. Guess who didn't give us our vouchers? I went up to the front desk to ask them for my vouchers. They acted like I was trying to rob the place. It took them 10 minutes of going back and forth before they agreed to give me my $10 breakfast coupon. Yes, that's how I'm going to makeup my $215 by asking for free breakfast coupons.

We stayed for 8 nights while in town for a very busy week of work. We had to pay 20$ a night parking. We were made to move rooms twice, the power even went completely out and we had to pack all our stuff to move. When we asked how we were going to be compensated they said no problem they would comp a night. Upon checking out they claimed they had never said that and if we wanted we could have a breakfast coupon. NO THANKS! Dont stay here. My back has never been so sore from a hotel bed before. Rooms are small and location is very noisy. Our stay was difficult and unvomfortable.

I loved my stay there. I booked 2 nights in a King + Kitchenette room. The front desk service was amazing, and helped me through checking quickly and effortlessly with a friendly smile on their faces. They offer free shuttle service to anywhere downtown and also complimentary bicycle rentals. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and the fitness equipment and hot tubs and saunas are an awesome perk, right on the top level offering amazing views to boot! Checkout was as smooth and friendly as check in, I would recommend this hotel to anyone! I'd come back any time.

Very clean and attentive staff. The hotel was close to all the major attractions in Vancouver and also to the buses and sky train. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are looking for an accommodation in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

This is a grimy, dingy, dirty hotel located in a terrible part of Vancouver on a very busy street. Rooms are noisy at all hours of the day and night. Price is way too high for a property of this poor quality.
