So I have been going here for almost 6 months now and I am grateful that I did. I have dealt with chronic back and overall body pain for the last 10+ years and now after seeing the RMT and the Physio Therapist every couple of weeks or so, I am now at a point where I am no longer feeling pain on a daily basis. The feeling you get when you come to the Oceanside Wellness Centre is a warm and inviting. I was first introduced to the RMT Dana Smith by my wife who was looking for an RMT closer to home. When I had my first appointment with Dana, I knew that I came to the right place. She was extremely delightful and knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. She was able to answer any questions I had about my pain issues in a way that was easy for me to understand. She used analogies using day to day objects to explain how the different muscles in the body work and how one group of muscles on another side of the body could affect somewhere else in the body. After a couple of sessions, she introduced me to a registered physio therapist also practicing in the office. Trina Lee. I have been to many physio's over the years both in B. C and Alberta and I have never come across a physio that is so thorough and cares so much about finding the root of the problem of her clients and helping them address the issues. On my first app with Trina, she did a full body joint assessment. She checked the position of every joint thoroughly.
I see Dana for massage therapy and Co-Active Coaching and she is just brilliant, she is transformative! For massage therapy I am extremely active and she is incredibly knowledgeable and mindful when working in sensitive areas. Having been to quite a few therapist in the past I can hands down say she is the best!

I recently went to Oceanside Wellness to see Dana Smith as I had heard so many great things about her. I was absolutely delighted with my experience with Dana — I had a one hour massage and left feeling better than I had in ages. I went in barely able to shoulder check and when I left I nearly skipped out of her studio — it sounds ridiculous, but it's true. I will absolutely see her again. And again.
