The motel staff are very friendly, as is the cat. The motel itself is a bit older and had some strange things going on with it, for instance the TV is glued to the counter. One of our rooms had a leaky faucet that we could hear throughout the night, and perhaps it was due to the time of day but there was absolutely no hot water in the morning to have a shower. Being located right downtown Hope was great though, we were close to restaurants and were able to walk everywhere we needed to.

We had to stop overnight as the highway was closed to our destination. Motel looks shady on the outside and the front check in felt a little awkward. There were definitely 2 transients fighting in the lobby and being kicked out. That being said, the room itself was good enough to sleep in. Toilet kept running which was annoying. Bed was overall comfy. Motel is definitely dated and not the best kept but it worked for a cheap overnight stay.

No hot water in the morning, no return calls from the number posted on the office door, transient sleeping in the chair when I went to report the water issue. Bed was very good, everything needs a cleaning would never recommend but if you go keep your foot ware on. Carpets are very dirty. Stayed June 21, 2018

Beware — added an additional $10 to the amount billed to my credit card, over the actual bill amount. I was too weary at the end of the 12 hours driving to notice, but discovered later when dividing expenses with a friend. Not worth a dispute with the CC company, but worth warning others.

We know it’s not a 5 star hotel, but for a 100 dollars a night, we at least expect hot water and a hairdryer that works.

Standard motel. Bed was comfortable and while room may be in need of an update it was clean and quiet. Check in was eaayband efficient.

Our room was clean, comfortable and faced the beautiful garden. The owner Terry was friendly.

I booked a room on saturday may 12th the room was very clean I was defiently very pleased on how clean the room was defiently 5 out of 5 on the other hand I will never return due to the lady who works at the front desk she is very rude and disrespectful she first was very passive agressive and swore twice well speaking with her than I over herd her talking to another customer about another lady who works there well I walked passed it was very disrespectful in my eyes I understand not everyone gets along but for her to talk to another customer about her issues with a worker is very immature and childish and it should not be tolerated. I also than herd her yelling at a coworker witch im geussing is the same lady she was just bad mouthing / bashing to another customer super immature and I defiently will not be returning and I highly recomened not going there unless she leaves or if you want to be disrespected or you support her bullying other co workers. Very dissapointed in the custmer services I also have been here before numerous of times and never had an issue at all so its very disappointing that I will not be returning and will never ever suggest this place like I used to : (.

They take pets and its a great deal. Will be back.

I love this place! Quiet and clean. Resident cats and dog. Great view of the park and exquisite furniture.

Clean and quiet with good beds. A good budget motel with internet and a fridge in each room. I recommend it.

We came in late but were checked in by the friendly owner. Beds were comfy, on the softer side. Location was great as it's wasn't too long of a drive from the highway and nearby park (with a beautiful view to catch the sunrise). Had a restful sleep as it was nice and quiet.

Stayed for a night while on vacation last month. I was basically only there long enough for a nights sleep and a shower but was pleased with my stay. Check-in was swift and smooth and the room was more than suitable. It was nice not being near the main highway. I was given a discount coupon for breakfast at a nearby establishment which turned out to be quite good. I would definitely stay here again.

Best & most cozy place in Hope. Centrally located near to Rolly's, Blue Moose Cafe, and the Theatre. Not far from the BCL / Food Market. Best of all… Right next door to 293 Wallace! A/C + Good heating. HD LCD TV's (with open and accessible inputs (USB+HDMI) in case you bring your own multimedia), Full Bath, Hairdryers, and all have EPIC views. East side looks down the Fraser Valley, West side looks towards the village park and snow capped mountains. (My fav is east — the sunsets are legit and with so little light pollution the stars are crystal clear! ) Some rooms have a kitchenette, some don't. The ones that do have some basic utensils, plates, glasses etc. Microwaves and Mini fridges in all I've seen. Water pressure for the bath/shower is second to none! Keep in mind this place has been around 30+ years. Some things have been re-done, others haven't. For me that adds to the charm and character. Some may feel the rooms are a bit dated. But they're clean and well kept! So honestly stay here to experience Hope and a bit of retro culture! Maybe visit Othello Tunnels, Hike the back country trails, or just mosey about this quiet chilled out town! As a bonus stop by reception to visit "Killer" the Chihuahua and "Felix" the friendly grey kitty! Double bonus? If it's snowing — it snows a lot! Snowball fights in the park are a thing! As are late night walks with your significant other as the fresh powder crunches beneath your feet.

Friendly folk's run this clean, little downtown hotel. Room's had a king sized bed, air conditioning, flat screen television w cable, kitchenette w fridge, sparkling bathroom all at a very reasonable price. Decor was dated, plus rug's throughout are not a allergy sufferers friend. The extensive use of decorative plastic flowers is a bit alarming. Parking available behind the hotel, though we parked our car out front on the street the whole night. I'd advise that you remove all temptations from your vehicle when parking overnight. Dog friendly rooms are available, plus there is a lovely little city park directly accross the street from this hotel. Possibly a suitable choice for those requiring wheelchair accessible hotel room's in the area.

The beds here are soooo comfortable! We had a room with 2 queens, and we slept very well! The character of the building has been maintained and the updates make it fresh. This place is clean!

To live is the best place to be in the middle of the Location of Rambo first blood. Unfortunately, the Motel is felt since the shooting had not been renewed. The beds are cruel, but the owner is friendly and helpful.

Great location, my room was spacious, clean and looked like recent renovated. I had a little kitchen in it with fridge, stove and micro wave. Super price, I only can highly recommend it.

We stayed one night. The view was SPECTACULAR! THE mountains were gorgeous. The town was quaint with a lovely park and shops within easy walking distance from our room. The staff were very pleasant, the room was clean and nice. We will definitely stay again.

Nice affordable hotel. Older but clean and that's what counts! Only downer was undersized AC that should be left on by staff to keep things cool. Very friendly front desk and hotel is across from the park, would definitely stay here again!

We were in transit to Vancouver Island. The price promised average, we have got lower average until doesn't go at all. The hotel and the room in the EC were consumed. The dustbins in the room were still filled by the previous tenant, the ceilings were spotty. We have dispensed with breakfast for $5, 000 in the diner.
The surroundings with the Citypark were nice. Shopping and restaurants are enough.

Always look forward to staying here when we are in Hope. Great value for money and since our last visit it's even nicer. Quiet hotel with good ac, perfect location, and the rooms are big and very comfortable. The shower seems to be a bit lower but that's probably due to all the upgrades that have been made (and that's my only issue) If you have a few option including the Windsor Hotel, check into this place.

Appropriate room size, clean. Parking option. Behind the house. A little clairvoyant, like many other motels in Canada. Centrally located and quiet. Shops in the immediate vicinity. Safe area.

Our stay at this hotel was great. Our room booked earlier that day was as booked with our king bed. Room was of a good size and the decor a little dated, but still tasteful. Despite being right on the street, the room was fairly quiet unless the window was open. Check in was quick and easy, parking, right out front. Hotel and grounds were very clean. Would stay here again. This hotel is a great jumping off point for travel south to the states or east and avoid the congestion and bustle of the GVR.

Just superb, excellent management. The manager/owner was very polite and kind, and always greeted me and my companion with a smile on his face. The room was by far the most well-kept motel rooms I've spent a night in. Needless to say, the linens and towels were fresh and crisp, and our sleep went undisturbed throughout the whole night (thank god! ). My wife especially loved how the whole motel was decorated by flowers and plants. I highly recommend anyone travelling through Hope to stay at the Windsor. We know we will return as soon as we get a chance to visit Hope again.

We were from 04th 09th 2010 05th 09th 2010 there for one night. The hotel meets full and all the claims the I in the book expected to have. Super mattresses spacious beds (we had "King"), clean bed linen and a clean room, because I was wondering what you want, after a long Anreie from Vancouver Airport? Hot water was also immediately in the showers and towels also fresh and clean. Only the SOAP sachet was slightly hard to the open under the shower, the only "negative point" which here will not be in assessing the validity and it was mostly quiet, although our room (No. 11) showed to the street. 2-3 trains that honked, in the distance as easy to hear were, conveyed the impression "we are in Canada". It was a very good decision here only to stay before going to the actual holiday home / went.

Had a nice lil time the night before last, in this establishment. Didn't have a clue where to stay when we arrived in Hope, just needed a place to get some sleep, and we hit jackpot with the Windsor. Being across the street from the pretty little park was really nice, since we had some lil ones with us, couldn't pry 'em away from the playground. One of the cleanest motel rooms Ive had the pleasure of staying in, though, and in one of the coolest, and most beautiful little towns Ive ever visited, thus far. Id love to live out there, cant imagine getting tired of the scenery, ever. Anyway, the man that checked us in, the owner, I assume, was very polite and helped us out with directions when needed, and just seemed like a good dude. Thanks for making our stay in Hope, a really nice one. We'll be back to Hope as soon as possible, and Windsor Motel is where we'll stay. They could use some new mattresses, now that I think about it, both, my wife, and myself, had some back problems the next morning, seemed a little too firm for our taste. Everything else was great, including our patio facing the park, like most others have mentioned. Wonderful view of things on a clear day.

We visit this town annually, and I've noticed this motel gets better every time I come visit! The suites are clean, and the owners are very kind. It is easy to find, markets and restaurants are within a block radius. I would recommend this motel to anyone who are looking for a clean and quiet place to stay.

I stayed at Windsor Motel a couple weeks ago and I absolutely LOVED it. It has a really relaxing and accommodating atmosphere, facing the Japanese Garden. The rooms were clean, had air conditioning, and the room rates were reasonable. The service was great, and I loved the private patio. I really enjoyed my stay and I would highly recommend this place.
