We did a road trip through BC in June and this hotel was, by far, the best we stayed in for the money. It is new, immaculate, attractive, well located and the staff was amazing. We were going to stay for one night and extended it to two cause we were so impressed!

The website states this hotel is pet friendly but it has signs posted on the doors and elevator showing a dog with a red line through it stating “no pets allowed $250 fine” and then in small print “except in pet approved rooms”. As a pet owner I’d much rather see “please keep your pets to designated areas”. When I first saw that sign I thought I couldn’t bring my dog in. Also they have a lovely pet area around back that is easily accessed from a door on the 2nd floor but the door is alarmed. So if your dog has to go out in the middle of the night you have to go down another floor (there are no rooms on the first floor) and through the lobby and around the hotel and up (stairs on one side) to the level of the dog area. Whew — not very dog friendly. The room was nice but the air conditioning started buzzing really loudly at 2:30 am. We couldn’t get it to stop so we turned it off. It wasn’t as cool as we like it for the rest of the night. In all fairness we didn’t let them know until the morning. And finally the Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room. It was ok in the lobby but that didn't help much. We heard others complaining and they said a tech has been called but it didn’t get rectified while we were there which was only one night. The included breakfast was nice especially the waffles. Their coffee was very good too.

Good hotel in the middle of Abbotsford. Located near a number of restaurants and numerous grocery stores. No restaurant in the hotel. Good basic accommodations.

The lobby looked updated with some impressive murals by a local artist. The pool was also painted floor to ceiling with some nice artwork. The rooms were okay but in some need for an update. They showed their age. Toilets were not elongated and needed you to hold the handle for a long time to flush. The cleaning staff spent lots of time on the outside blowing leaves and such. The hot tube was cloudy. Kinda gross but the pool washrooms were big with shampoo and soap in shower. The women's was missing the soap.

Always room for improvement. The room was great, clean. Friendly service. I only suggest having fruit platter to add to breakfast.

Clean, updated and we'll maintained room. Decent continental breakfast, pastries, yogurt, cereal, waffles, not allot of protein options, but everything was fresh and varied.

What a great surprise. Local clean friendly and cozy. We stayed here so our kids could have a party. So glad we did. Will definitely recommend this place for out of town family and friends.

Just stayed one night so didn't try the amenities other than the breakfast room. Staff were polite, friendly and efficient. The room was a good size and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Didn't hear a sound from outside the room. The climate control in the room was intuitive and QUIET and worked perfectly. Had a terrific sleep. And the breakfast room was very well laid out with a very good array of basic breakfast items, including fresh fruit and waffles! This was exactly what I booked. I will come back.

Abit outdated. Pool was below average and the front desk guy was super awkward. However, really nice beds!

Look and feel of older hotel. But it is beautiful and everything is working and clean. Good service as well.

Very nice rooms, big and spacious. I would give 5 stars if the breakfast was better. Not many varieties unfortunately.

Very pleasant front desk staff, clean & nice rooms and a very fulfilling complimentary breakfast. Maid service informed us the hotel was being renovated in January. Not sure if the hotel is remaining open during the renovation.

This hotel takes advantage of their customers. Do not book a room here. Three full months after checking out, the Coast Abbotsford Hotel wrongfully charged my credit card an additional $50. The hotel claimed that I stole a 'soap pump' which was never in the room in the first place. After trying to call and figure out what went wrong the front desk brushed me off rudely, telling me they would look into it and never got back to me. Overall it was a HORRIBLE experience and I will never consider stepping foot in this hotel ever again.

Coast hotel is in an easy location to get food or to the highway. Rooms were in good clean condition. Shower was comfortable, beds were made. I was attending a wedding at the rancho with it's close proximity to the wedding it was a clear choice along with the discount you get because of they're partnership. Over all would start again.

Despite reading a number of poor reviews, I chose the Coast. I did not regret my choices. Kind staff, clean rooms, and a good locations. Would stay again.

No complaints, would stay here again without any hesitation. The girl at the front desk was incredibly friendly and nice, appeared like she loved her job, and if she didn't, was very good at faking it! Great first impression. Lobby etc was all spotless and looked great. Room was the standard two queen bed room. Nothing special. Was clean and as expected. Continental breakfast was good. We had breakfast plans with family so didn't eat much, but the coffee was good, the muffin I ate was good, and the various pastries the kids at went down with no complaints! Would probably give 5 stars, but there is a little room for some improvement here. The bathroom was a little rough around the edges with dated counters, and patched holes in the walls. Not a big deal at all, doesn't matter, but just enough to drop the score a little. Also found an old insole from somebodies shoe under the bed (when checking for any of our stuff that might have ended up there). Makes me question the thoroughness of the cleaning staff — even though everything appeared clean. Would probably give it a score of 4.5/5 if I could, but can't so 4/5 it gets. Will most likely stay here again next time we're in Abbotsford.

Short walk to the Cactus Bar from here make is much better than it would otherwise be. Not the best breakfast. Bedding was nice.

Stayed over night with my 2 friends. We were given a pet friendly room even though we didn't have any pets. The room was very clean and did not smell like animal like I imagined it might. We all had a good nights sleep and enjoyed the continental breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we all enjoyed our stay.

Good quiet hotel. Showing it's age, but seems to be in good condition. The rooms and common areas are well maintained and neat.
