My sister and I met for a rendezvous night in golden. Looking for a place that would take dogs I found Pinewood ini motel. A delightful 8 room motel very close to a lovely little Marsh where we could walk our dog. Highly recommend to anyone looking for Accomodation in golden.

Nice location — nice rooms. Reception via phone somewhere… Good standart and a lot of space — so recommended for a couple of nights.

Amazing! Firstly… I had arrived about 30 minutes early, and was aloud to check in. The staff were friendly, hardworking, and proffesional. Second, the suite was very clean, had good decor, and easy access. Lastly the price… it was awesome for what you get, a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and common area. Thank again for the amazing experience!

Once they had my money it was incredibly difficult to get even some of it back and the charges were unfair and unwarranted. The mobile page states "pet friendly" but nothing about fees. Still, I was charged a nearly $200 fee (with tax) for bringing my cat into a hypoallergenic room (which management said I should be thankful for her kindness because she didn't charge me $500). I had no idea I was staying in a hypoallergenic room. The mobile app that I used to book the room says nothing about fees but does say PET FRIENDLY. The computer website does list the fees (for dogs NOT cats) however you even have to search for that info and I obviously wasn't on my computer while traveling thru the mountains. Furthermore, I wasn't asked if I had pets while booking and the check-in information sent to me didn't state that I rented a no-pet room, a hypoallergenic room or mention any fees. Management said she tried to call me about the charges but that can't be true because I never recieved a call nor did my phone have any record of it. To add insult to injury, the mobile website advertised a lower price than what I was charged. When I called to discuss the pet fees, I felt berated. I was told repeatedly that I "should have known better", that I need to "take responsibility" and suggestions were made that I did this on purpose. *Update* Managements response to my review is untrue and I have the screenshots to prove it.

Recently stayed in a pet friendly suite. Very clean and cozy. Price for the room was very reasonable considering it came with a full kitchen suite including dishes, cutlery and cookware. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great quiet location. If you are planning on staying in Golden I would highly recommend it.

Fish places just like home very good equipped kitchenettes very clean rooms. Stephanie and Company really make you feel at home when you stay here. I would highly recommend this place for a working person looking for good accommodations at a reasonable price. I don't think it gets much better than this in the golden area.

This is a very good place to stay not very elegant but well-equipped nice kitchenette very clean and a very good shower highly recommend this to any working man in the area.

Possibly one of the best affordable motels i've stayed at. The room was spacious and newly renovated, the motel was a cozy cottagy style, I was able to drive my car up and park it right beside my room. The best part was I was able to book over the phone and didn't need to check in when I arrived. I could just go straight to my room. Would definitely recommended to anyone needing to stay in Golden. Will definitely book here again.

Sweet and quaint. Bathroom very small, but functional. Beds were very comfy. Kitchenette is a microwave and fridge, almost unnecessary to call it a kitchenette. Easy to access the hotel, but it's not within walking distance to the downtown area which is a bit of a downer if you've been driving all day and want to stretch your legs.

Though I was only here for a night, I had a fantastic experience. The staff were great, the room was very clean, and Golden is always a treat. Recommended without hesitation =)

The room was very clean and well maintained. It was an excellemt price, in comparison to other hotels in Golden. Will not hesitate to stay there in the future!

The Pinewood Inn is reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. The only con for us was that it's close to the train tracks so it can be a little loud at times with the windows open. We would stay here again!

Do not let the outside appearance fool you. Completely renovated on the inside, super cute and rustic. Staff was very friendly. Only complaint is the bed, for a couple it's small and the mattresses aren't 100% comfortable. Overall, a great stay.

Had a great rest here for one night. Lots of space and a comfy bed. Decent shower too. Very warm with thermostats in each room. Lovely owner if you do need to speak to them for anything. Recommended if you're passing through Golden or need access to Kicking Horse mountain (about 15-20 min drive).

I'd recommend staying at the Pinewood Inn, if you are seeking a clean affordable place in Golden. Easy to find and close to everything.

Its better than a hotel and you can park in front of your room. Nice and cheap.

Check-in and check-out system is awesome, new for us and very efficient. Room was very clean, bed comfortable. Liked the separate bedroom with bunk-beds, great for kids. People complain about the noise from the train, but if you've ever lived in a city, this is nothing. The trains barely make any noise and never sound their horns. Owner was very friendly as well.

Small cute place, nice people. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was due to the constant train and truck traffic. Beautiful town!

Loved every part of it. Woke up to mountains, clean rooms, BBQ grill outside, I can't complain!

Fantastic accommodation. We loved the small cottage style appartments and having the kitchen was exactly what we wanted. We stayed here twice and both times everything was very tidy and clean. Plus the price is excellent. I would recommend that anyone looking to stay in golden to consider pinewood inn.

Nicely renovated old school motel — rooms are cinder-block so they are ultra quite, and that is a bonus cause the trains are big and many going through Golden. The heating comes from hot-water radiators in all room. The room had a nicely equipped kitchen modern TV and internet. Golden is a wonderful place to visit with nice restaurants and an awesome bakery for breakfast and lunch.

I just Loved everything about this hotel. We had nice and clean room. I really liked the décor ant that nice little kitchenette. Bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be back some day :)
