Our experience with this facility was very positive. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Room very clean. Would definitely stay here again, and, would recommend it to all travellers needing accommodation in this area.

The room was typical as far as furnishings — fridge, & coffee service. Very comfy bed and pillows. The complimentary breakfast was very good! Fluffy and flavorful scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes offered as the hot food, with cereal, pancake maker, juice selection and muffins. There were also seasonal berries and cream. My aunt and I had a long day of driving and we felt quite satisfied after breakfast and knew we could continue on our journey until a late lunch. Thank you Caesar! (Breakfast Mgr. )

Close to restaurants and gas stations. Looks like it was recently renovated. Room came with free breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and again looked like it was recently renovated. Hotel has an indoor pool. TV service needs to be updated to a service that has an actual guide. Wifi is very slow. Other than that its was a pleasant stop.

My family and I had a fantastic stay! The staff was warm and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze, the rooms were clean and a nice size, and the breakfast my family had in the morning was amazing… it was a REAL breakfast. This is where we will be staying whenever we are in Golden. Thanks to all the staff❤️

Great hotel stay, very clean room. Our highlight I would have to say was Caesar. An extremely pleasant man who worked the breakfast bar keeping it stocked, clean and organized. Very friendly and cared about your experience no matter the brevity of the stop. This hotel is very lucky to have such an outstanding employee! He also went over and above and gave my young daughter some cookies for the road. He truly cared.

Stayed here for a night in April and I had a wonderful experience! It was so easy to find as it's right off Highway 1. The staff were super friendly and knowledgable and gave me great recommendations for places to eat in Golden. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel room! The complimentary breakfast was also great! Last but DEFINITELY not the least, this hotel lives up to its name — the view of the mountains from my room were incredible. I will definitely be staying here again.

No free drinking water. Desk people not friendly. They are so focus on the monitors. Old carpets. Glasses for drinking and not disposable glasses. Also the door is not too secured. The lock is loose. Rated 1 star hotel.

The location of the hotel is fine within the town, but I definitely should've looked into what there is to do around Golden, because it was a whole lot of nothing. Next time I make the trip through the Rockies and want a place between Canmore and Jasper, I'll probably stay in Field or something. The room was great, no issues other than the provided lotion seemed to be half used so I thought that was a little weird. Bed was comfy, and the breakfast was tasty. The pool is freezing though, so if you're looking forward to a nice swim, don't get too excited. Hotel overall was maybe a little expensive compared to a few other places around, but that's because you don't really have a choice if you need to stay in Golden. If you're staying in Golden, it's a typical Best Western and I don't have any complaints about the actual service or staff.

Positives: The renovated lobby is beautifully done, and the front staff are friendly. The rooms are nice and beds are comfy. Check-in was easy considering I had a group of 26. Negatives: The hot buffet breakfast was less than stellar. The reviews I read when searching for a hotel ranted and raved about the breakfast, but I was not impressed. When I arrived at 7:45, all of the scrambled eggs and potatoes were gone. The chef was nowhere to be found. When he returned, there seemed to be no rush to restock the food. The door to the kitchen was open and I saw him pull a container of pre-made scrambled eggs from the microwave and stirring it before warming it up again. At that point, I was glad to have a toasted bagel.

This hotel had excellent customer service. The staff in all areas were very accommodating. The hotel lobby, common areas and rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent. Nice touches included the Gift Box for being a Rewards Card Holder and the call we received from Front Desk when we got to our room to make sure everything was ok with the room. I would recommend this Hotel for the reasons indicated above.

Very friendly staff! Great location. Value of room for the price was unbeatable. The room was spotless upon arrival, and overall it was a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Awesome hotel situated at a good location and nice view. Friendly staff. Our room is very clean, housekeeping did a great job. Thanks to the helpful staff such as Amanda at frontdesk and Cesar and another guy at the breakfast. Great stay.

Disappointing so far. Pool water was too cold and our kids were really upset. When they called me day before to confirms reservation — no one let me know about this issue. Front desk staff not really helpful.

Decent hotel, 5min drive to town and 15min to Kicking Horse Resort. It has an indoor swimming pool, parking and an very good BBQ joint next door. Breakfast is good, staff are professional and helpful. Rooms are clean and adequate, although starting to get a little dated. This is a clean and efficient mid range hotel.

Just got renovated, and has surprisingly fast Wi-Fi considering it is a hotel. 20 minute drive to kicking horse, and generally quite clean. Also decent breakfast.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that this hotel was recently renovated and had a fantastic feel to it. The staff were all exceptional especially Amanda! Breakfast was hot and there was lots of choices, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, pancakes and potatoes. Along with an assortment of cold choices. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We are on a 3000 mile road trip. This is one of the best hotels we've stayed in. The hotel is well managed, and the staff take a lot of pride in their hotel. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions and restaurants. The Best Western breakfast was excellent, and the cook was very friendly.

Definitely recommend staying here … the staff is very friendly and courteous and all of our requests were processed quickly. The breakfast was well prepared and appreciated each day by our group. Our only concern was not having 1 of our 2 rooms cleaned on day 1, but our overall stay was very good!

Be sure to stay at the best western when passing through or staying in Golden B. C. The price was a shock. I am use to paying over 200 a night in the mountains. They charged 97 before tax for a very clean room. I was really impressed! Cesar made sure everyone in the dining room was comfortable and that they were able to find something they liked for breakfast. I have never had service like that at a continental breakfast. Ever! I would highly recommend that hotel. Great staff!

Great breakfast! All the basics, done very well, and kept really clean. The staff were super accommodating and the room was nice. The air conditioning and heat was appreciated!

We brought our dog with us and needed a place to stay for the night. The Best Western allows dogs, I know lots of hotels allow small dogs but our dog is a little on the hefty side and there was no issue. It was an amazing stay with friendly staff. I would stay there again for sure!

Customer service was excellent from the front desk to the breakfast buffet staff. The breakfast buffet was very good. Our room was clean and adequate enough for a one night stay. Location was good for a stopover before heading toward Lake Louise.

A wonderful stay at this new "Mountian View" Inn. Staff are warm and friendly attending to your every need. Manager D made sure we were enjoying our stay and was very personal and professional. The breakfast offered many different options, all delicious, cook and kitchen manager Cesar was wonderful. His attention to detail in preparing to ensuring there was lots to choose made our stay one of the best in the Canadian Rockies.

This hotel had everything we were looking for: comfy beds, fast Wi-Fi, room fridge, common area microwave, nice pool, newly renovated rooms, laundry room, and *fantastic* breakfast! The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Cesar who served breakfast. He was able to accommodate our food allergies which is highly uncommon in a hotel with free buffet breakfast.

We arrived very late, exhausted from a long drive but was happy to find that our rooms were held for us. Rooms were big and clean. We received the best service from their friendly and professional staff. Cesar, our breakfast server made sure food trays were stocked and everyone had a good meal. Staff from the cleaners, to reception and supervisors were great. Kudos to everyone.

We mixed up our reservation at another hotel and it was 11 PM. We were stressed and called the Best Western. The receptionist was wonderful and organized a room for us on the spot. In fact, it was their last room. We were surprised by how modern and clean the room was. Thank you Best Western! We plan on staying again on our way home.

When checking in there was a big problem with their system and they had no idea who was in what room etc. We couldn't check in to our room until 8 pm. It wasn't really their fault but I think they could have had it sorted out sooner as the girl at the front desk said it was because of a storm a couple days ago. The manager was not there at first. The poor girl was alone. When we came back at 8 he was there helping her. It was frustrating after traveling for quite a while with 3 kids. The kids got to go swimming but the pool looked and smelled funny. Not clean. The room was great though. It was clean and very spacious. And the breakfast in the morning was great. I would stay here again. I think/hope the system problem was a one time thing.

Rooms are spacious with a nice lobby that looks clean and inviting. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I am a rewards member and because they were fully booked they could not offer me an upgraded room so instead I was given 2 arrival packages (booted water and 2 packs of cookies plus bonus points.

Nice updated rooms, bathroom has large counters. Well executed breakfast, no frills but everything was available and regularly stocked. Mattress was soft but comfortable. Loved that the AC unit actually worked well but didn't blow air directly on you.

Rooms were large and clean. Darwin at the front desk was amazing, staff very friendly and accommodating. Pool was large and warm but no hot tub, won't stay here again just for that reason! Breakfast was disappointing, was told grocery order didn't come in because of the Christmas break, so out of alot.

Very clean, comfortable room, excellent bed, breakfast was good, hash browns, sausages, bacon, eggs (scrambled & hard boiled) etc. Great place to stay!

It's a fine hotel, the pool is nice. No restaurant on site but they do an alright continental breakfast. No orange juice this morning, which was a huge block for me. We requested a site 2 but were talked into a family room, which was not better. The suite should have been 2 rooms but the fam room was just one, so that sucked. Otherwise beds were nice, pillows were nice, room was ok. The Prestige might be a bit nicer.

Well after arriving from Revelstoke on my Harley on September 10 around 8:30 p:m I was given my room key to which I had booked before I had left Revelstoke. Room 217 is the room she said as she passed me my credit card key. Away I go up to 217. I flash the card, I get a green light. My hands are full of bags and motorcycle apparel. I turn the handle and push the door open with my shoulder and walk in. I notice the lights are on and thought to myself well that was nice of them. I continue into the room and whammo there lays a Japanese man butt ass naked with a roll of toilet paper and a dirty magazine laying across his chest! I quickly reacted by saying wtf is this. Then he said "how u get in"? He didn't even move! I just said key and turned and left. Shit! I go back down to the front desk and say to the girl "that shit ain't cool"!. She said "he's on the phone and sounds angry". I didn't even explain what I saw. She gave me a new key to room 219 and I told her it had better not have anybody in this room or else! Crazy shit!

Room was clean, large, and recently updated. Happy that they were pet friendly and allowed my dog for a small fee. Somewhat noisy but they provide earplugs. Would stay again.

Excellent Hotel. Loved it. Modern rooms, comfy bed, very clean and well maintained. No issue with having cats, they even gave us a little gift bag with snacks. I highly recommend staying here, the town of Golden is beautiful too!

I used up some points for this location. Be for warned that if using Best Western Points for free night you will be shelling out extra for breakfast. This was a supprise but the breakfast nook was not a properly ventilated kitchen. My wife has to step outside to get some fresh air while our food was being prepared. The food was good and the portions were generous. Overall the hotel is good and most of our expectations were met aside from the BWP confusion at checkout.

Outstanding, great service, soft carpets, awesome pool, close to everything, spotless room, would definitely return if in area.

Today we checked into Best Western in Golden, B. C. Our group has three rooms, one of the rooms hadn't been cleaned. So we called the front desk and waited for 10 minutes but no one came, so we went downstairs to them. They told us that we need to bring them the key and then they would give us another room (without apologizing for the dirty room and not offering to help us move the luggage to the new room). When we went into the new room the room wad already occupied by someone. In the second room the drainage in the bath tub was blocked and the light bulb on the night stand was burn out. We and the family from oversea were very dissapointed and felt let down by the Best Western standard. We will never go there again.
