Clare and Kelly are hosts extraordinaire — their warm welcome, tastefully decorated rooms and delicious breakfasts were more than we imagined. Afternoon tea was an added benefit and very thoughtful. The best B&B we have stay at. Clare greets you with a smile and makes you feel like the most important visitor there. Kelly is a marvelous chef so breakfast is out standing. Rooms are airy, spacious and spotless. The back porch for scones and tea is very comfortable. Many guests enjoyed the pool.

This place is a touch of HOME with a stunning view. Kelly the cook and his wife Clare are very personable from the min you walk in the door. This place is very clean, comfortable and warm. The breakfast is scrumptious. High tea t 4pm every day. It was an awesome stay.

Kelly and Claire were fantastic hosts. The breakfast was delicious. The property was large and quaint with a pool in the back. It's location was close to amenities yet secluded and quiet for a relaxing getaway.

This has become our little piece of heaven whenever we visit from Ontario! Clare & Kelly are incredible hosts and are very attentive to their guests! Food is outstanding and the rooms are quiet, clean and cozy! Thanks for everything!

This place is absolutely fantastic! When we arrived, we were greeted with afternoon tea and delicious blueberry scones, which were definitely welcome after a long, tiring drive. The rooms are positively gorgeous, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Everything you need during your stay is looked after, and we loved relaxing and lounging by the pool. Kelly's breakfasts were positively to die for! Everything was fresh and delicious. Clare and Kelly really go the extra mile to make sure that you really feel at home while visiting. We've stayed at other B&Bs before, and this one was the best by far. We will definitely be back. As their motto says — we came as guests, and left as friends!

What a great place! Gracious host and hostess. Freshly made warm blueberry scones at tea time! Fabulous breakfast! Pool was perfect with comfortable lounge chairs. Beautiful updated furnishings. Cozy robes and water bottle with glass on each nightstand! Great company with other guests! I felt right at home but pampered!

The hosts, Clare and Kelly, are a great team. Clare is warm, gregarious and welcoming and Kelly is an excellent and creative chef serving delicious breakfasts. On our arrival we were treated to tea, fresh fruit, scones and squares. Our suite was quiet, spacious and comfortable with a king size bed, lovely ensuite, with views of the garden and pool below and of the distant mountains and hills of Kelowna. After visiting the vineyards around the lakeshore we returned to enjoy a dip in the heated pool and relax in their garden.

We stayed at a "Touch of English" during the BC Day long weekend while attending a wedding in Kelowna. From the moment we arrived until we departed three days later we felt pampered and spoiled. Clare, our hostess, welcomed us with tea in the garden — — home baked scones, fresh fruit and a pot of lovely tea. Our room surpassed our expectations; we had our own entrance and direct access to the garden and pool. If we wanted there was the possibility to cook our own meals and we even found a carafe with sherry and two glasses! Breakfast was served outside on the covered deck. The attention to detail is exceptional — — each morning the table was set to a new colour scheme with fresh flowers and matching napkins and place mats. Breakfast is prepared by Kelly, Clare's husband, and is absolutely to die for. From the "French toast casserole" to the eggs Benedict and the waffles cooked to perfection, everything was delicious. Each breakfast "main course" was preceded by fresh fruits and scones or croissants. Yum! We cannot speak too highly of a Touch of English" and its wonderful and attentive hosts. We are already looking forward to a future visit and we will recommend "Touch of English" to all our friends. Thank you Clare and Kelly!

This is a review for a trip that occurred on August 18-21, 2013. What a fantastic experience we had. We arrived just in time for high tea which we happily settled into after checking into our room. The selection of teas, local fruits and especially Clare's scones was a nice touch for arriving and existing guests. It was during high tea each day that we really got to chat with the other guests and it make the experience that much more memorable. The accommodations were lovely (we were in the Essex room and it looks as it appears in the pictures), the bed quite comfortable and the bathroom quite posh. The B&B itself has been meticulously restored and the care and attention Clare and Kelly have put into it is quite evident. The indoor and outdoor eating areas are very comfortable and the pool was a nice addition after hikes during the daytime heat. The food was exceptional and always more than I could possibly eat. Most importantly Clare and Kelly were warm, friendly hosts that made your experience that much more memorable. The location of the B&B is wonderful — quiet local neighborhood, within walking distance to a coffee shop if you want a nice stroll and somewhere to do, and conveniently located close to the major wine areas of Kelowna and downtown itself. It is only about 20 mins by car from the airport. I would happily recommend this property for people coming to Kelowna for any type of travel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Touch of English B&B — Clare and Kelly made us feel extremely welcome in their home! We stayed in the Essex room, which is above the pool and has a fantastic view of Kelowna. The ensuite bathroom is very modern and a wonderful asset to the room — the king size bed is very comfortable! The pool was so refreshing and the garden is beautiful; we had a wonderful early evening swim and then enjoyed the view on the balcony sipping a glass of wine. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning on the terrace with some of the other guests, which started the day off wonderfully. Located high on the hill to enjoy the spectacular view of Kelowna and just a short drive to downtown — thank you! We will be back!

Clair and Kelly were very welcoming and friendly, made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door. The scones were fantastic and the tea was great, I felt so relaxed sitting on the porch over looking the valley. Breakfast was FANTASTIC, they took my dietary needs into account and prepared a great meal for us. The room was lovely, comfortable and super clean. My only complaint was that the pool was not open during our stay. We plan to stay there again when we pass thru Kelowna.

A touch of english was one of the most welcoming and comforting travel experiences I have ever had! I was treated with such a great amount of care and kindness that is truly one of a kind. The welcome scones were fantastic and the breakfast was absolutely exceptional. The house is spotless and filled with character and class. The room was clean, comfortable and beautiful. All my expectations were met, and this couple went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and accommodated all my needs while in Kelowna. The pool is a great plus too :)

We stayed at this B&B for three days and two nights in August. They were super welcoming and friendly. The room, bathroom and pool were all superbly clean, even for a picky person like me! I loved the crisp white sheets and fresh towels! The food was absolutely delicious. On one morning, we had a breakfast casserole with cheese and ham. The next morning, we had strawberry crepes with sausages. Each breakfast came with a selection of yogurt, fruits, coffee and tea — yum! My only regret is that we did not have more time to float around on their pool!
