Very chic hotel. Love their signature scent!

Love our room! It is modern, unique and has beautiful bedding!

Came for Valentine's Day away with the husband. Meal was amazing, and the room was spotless. The only thing a bit unusual is the barn style bathroom door, lol… and maybe the blue jeans butt wallpaper in the bathroom.

Very convenient especially when your flight is early.

Great service from reception to room service and check out. The only disappointment was the internet service. Couldn't connect ' the hotel said it was my work laptop but I bring it everywhere and have no problems at any other hotel.

Recently booked a late check in for a dear friend who had a bad week and a late arrival in Edmonton. Kindrea, the Ambassador on duty, was so incredibly helpful in creating welcoming hospitality. Very much appreciated! Her stay was an excellent and all requests were handled perfectly! I look forward to my next visit to Edmonton so that I may also enjoy your amenities. Well done!

Disappointed with the hygiene protocols at this property. Went to place a couple of drinks in the fridge this morning only to find someone’s leftovers already in the fridge. Specially selected the Renaissance for being connected to the terminal building. But in retrospect would have been just as better off staying at the Fairfield Inn across the way which most probably have the same hygiene protocols in place.

Always a great relaxing experience here!

Beautiful hotel I was actually very surprised when I open the door to the room how nice it is. Went down for a quick bite at the lounge food was awesome. Very very pleasantly surprised!

Love that it was steps away from the check in counter. The hotel lobby and hallway had REALLY loud music but the front desk staff were awesome. If you are driving make sure you ask for the in and out card and sign up for their Bon Voy program.

Would like to thank the great staff at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel especially Asim and Khan for making our stay very relaxing and peaceful. Also after our flight to Yellowknife was delayed they let us have the room for another couple of hours. Thanks again Asim and Khan for helping to make our adventure better.

Stayed there on our wedding night before flying to Las Vegas. They went above and beyond. Gave us a suite, chilled champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Phenomenal customer service and will book again.

Absolutely phenomenal staff. They help you to the elevator with your luggage and bring you a cup of water at check in.

The restaurant charged me $8 for putting ground beef on nachos. I understand there being an upcharge but $8 is ridiculous and it wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Very disappointed.

I'm staying at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel now, and I have to say the hotel is nice, but the staff are amazing. Literally every person that works here has gone above and beyond — the guy that checked me in brought me right to my room and pushed my overflowing luggage cart for me, the guy cleaning the pool area was super friendly and went way out of his way to hold the door for me at the gym, the cook made me an amazing meal that meets my (odd) dietary requirements, and when they realized they forgot the sauce (which I didn;t know existed) they sent someone to my room with a free gourmet desert and a full refund for my meal. I travel a lot, and this service has been outstanding. Suggestion to the management? Treat your staff the way they treat your guests and you'll keep the winning team you've got here now.

We stayed at Renaissance Edmonton Airport for one night as we had an early morning flight the next day. This hotel offers service above and beyond! We had a number of suitcases, a sleeping toddler and were juggling a lot around. A nice gentleman from the hotel came out and helped us with our luggage and really helped us out! What a life saver! The room was spotless and we had a great sleep! Stay here, it's worth it!

You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear lol… turn your bad music down and stop with the nasty scent… looks, sounds and smells cheap That's lady doth protest too much! … I appreciate the response but you missed the point. The "why" is not in question. Your response is much like the hotel itself, lots of flash with little substance! … I will add the beds are great and staff is incredibly pleasant!

The hotel offers a very good service at your door step. The only issue I had that the bathroom door has no locks on it. We had a bedroom with two queen sized bed which was comfortable but had very little closet space. Other than that everything else was great!

Beautiful hotel. Very quiet, you would never know your by an airport. The restaurant was so good too! The server there was amazing. My friend said she went there for moms day for brunch and it was excellent as well!

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times and we are always impressed with the courteous staff and exceptional service. Jeremy and Rolly at the Halo Bar and Grill are very professional, are always friendly and welcome you back at each visit. The front counter staff have always been accommodating and helpful, most recently we made arrangements for my parents to stay here who needed wheel chair and baggage assistance and once again the hotel did not disappoint — we highly recommend staying at the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel. Beautiful hotel. Immaculate. Food at the restaurant is great. The decor in the rooms, the lobby, the restaurant is stunning. The staff is extremely friendly and expertly trained. A luxurious and homey experience perfectly melded into one. The music played in the lobby is also really good. I must have sat for 2 hours in the lobby just listening and shazaam-ing songs. Definitely recommend.

Great hotel. Very clean. Quietest room I've ever stayed in and the convenience of being right at the airport was a plus. A bit expensive but definitely worth it!

So my stay was pretty good overall and the place is nice but don't forget anything. I let a $500 sport coat hanging in the closet and of course it was not turned in. I know that is where I left it and when I called the front desk person was very rude telling I was wrong and that they don't have a problem with things disappearing and I did not leave it there. I guess it just vanished, or someone has a really nice coat and no one is asking any questions.

Service was impeccable here, all the staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel was clean and modern with very comfortable beds. It was. Nice to see that elevators and ice machines were tucked behind glass walls or doors so no noise. Aveda products were a bonus here. Only downside is that the water pressure is a little low.

Beautiful and comfortable. Very tasty and scrumptious breakfast. The room service is also excellent. The only criticism I have, however, is that they are very stingy with the cream for coffee.

Beautiful hotel. I was there for a wedding and the ballroom was gorgeous. The food was amazing (the beef strips especially). The staff were helpful and gracious.

This hotel is wonderful. It's attached to the YEG airport, and you wouldn't know! We had a room facing the airport and couldn't hear a thing. The staff was unbelievably helpful. The woman who checked us in gave us shopping information and recommended us to an amazing french restaurant. The Starbucks came in very handy! The restaurant was delicious, however quite expensive, $5 for a glass of water (this is the only complaint I had) The beds are very comfy, rooms are light, with a clearly very dedicated housekeeping staff. We were very impressed with this hotel! The Renaissance Hotel will be our go to Edmonton hotel from now on.

The hotel is nice looking and the beds are awesome. But the perfume smell is immensely overpowering… if I wasn't required to stay here for work I would pay more to stay anywhere else. When I asked them about it they said "we know it's a lot but it's our thing"…

Helpful and friendly staff. Modern decor. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Watch parking timelines if dropping people off or parking some where else besides hotel property.

Went for a few drinks with some friends before they left town. Its a nice looking lounge, service was good, beer was cold. Good enough he says.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, very modern looking once you get inside. The main event room had that wow factor that convinced us to book it for our wedding.

My friend and I both found the music played in all the public areas to be unacceptably loud and intrusive. We skipped our swim in the lovely pool because of it. I told the desk staff my opinion about the music and was told it was corporate policy. I have very mixed feelings about this otherwise lovely hotel because of this issue and the condescending response I received. Our runway-view room was great, and the room was quiet.

I went for a wedding and it was very beautiful and well organized. The wedding party told me that Edmonton Renaissance airport hotel was very accommodating and had a beautiful venue. I would recommend.

Amazing hospitality. I had an 8 hour layover so staying at the airport seemed smarter to me. Best idea I had, the service was amazing! The rooms are gorgeous and very clean. I will 100% recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in Edmonton. And I will 100% stay there again whenever I am there. Money well spent!

Attended the hotel. Their employee told me to park in a different lot and said it would be free. Got charged and they refuse to reimburse. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is amazing. Ad far as airport hotels go. For the price it can't be beat. It's joined onto the terminal at the airport. Every feature is high class from the decor to the finishings to the staff. The halo bar will get you started and the rooms will finish you off with their comfort and convenience. Do not stay anywhere else.

Nice modern rooms. Pool was really great, my 4 yr old daughter loves the warm water. We tried their room service and the mushroom soup is the best. Our reservation comes with the breakfast and it was really good. Direct access to the airport is a big plus.

Was good service until I left for my flight and realized I left my winter coat in my room. The maid didn’t “report” it so there was nothing they could do for me when I got back. My mistake for leaving it but you would think employees would be honest enough to report it to the front desk. They lost my service for the future %100

I attended the hotel for a wedding. The food was well prepared and tasted great. The facilities were also very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The wedding was very well organized and everyone had a great time.

Beautiful restaurant, bar and lounge. Pool gym and hot tub are nice (too much chlorine though). Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, very nice soap shampoo and cleanser. Right beside WestJet check in, very convenient.

A hidden Gem in an airport. Elegant, classy and friendly staff. If you think an airport hotel is just to spend your night before or after a flight well you can't be more wrong. This hotel is a world of its own from an elegant bar restaurant to a prestigious spa and let me not start about the rooms, they are out of a decor catalog and they are comfy too… Amazing stay can't wait for my next visit.

Beautiful hotel. Up scale yet it has a comfortable feeling. All decked out for Christmas. If you are traveling early in the am. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to walk indoors less than 5 minutes from your shower to the airport. Or just stop by Halo for a bite and a drink.

Excellent hotel! Very clean. Nice rooms and decor. Bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. The lounge was open late for food and drinks as well as it easy to just walk into the airport and go to the 24 hour Tim Hortons if you are super hungry or in need of a coffee. I was totally impressed. If ever in quick business again I will for sure stay here. The front desk was very friendly as was another employee when I checked in and was kinda lost finding the main reception that should be better labelled from the ground floor! The only complaint I would have is the air freshener you are using across the lobby and I realize a lot of hotels do this but I found it way too over powering! But still 5/5! Loved it! Will come back!

Incredibly frustrating and embarrassing… I’ve never had a credit card hotel authorization charged for more than the cost of my entire stay before. Was embarrassed as I was pretty much told no cash and no debit security deposits would be permitted… only credit card. I was let hanging to figure out where I was going to find a new place to stay in Edmonton … until a manager finally approved a $1000 prepayment on my debit card… for a two night stay that will cost $…159 plus taxes a night. Never saw the manager though… the way this was handled was terrible… some of us travel for work and have to make ends meet the best we can… us hard working moms who choose not to have high credit cards so that we don’t have huge debt pile up shouldn’t be made to feel like second class citizens… My travel agent said I could use my card to book, then pay however I wanted to after. Clearly that wasn’t true… and I read through every print out I received… nowhere does it say the pre authorization will be more than my actual stay at the hotel. I don’t care how clean the room is… if you make a single customer feel like a second class citizen then you have FAILED at customer service. Then I go to have a bath to relieve all this stress and there is no bathtub!

Mature, modern atmosphere. I enjoy the decor and the staff are pretty friendly. My favorite part is the Starbucks inside. It's so convenient :)

Nice facilities. Everything is pretty much brand new and the restaurants have good food. A little over priced but nice over all.

Participated in an event in their conference room on the main floor. I found the staff to be very attentive and personable. The food was well recieved by the group and I found the variety of the snacks was well done. The air circulation could have been better (a bit stuffy) but not a huge deal. All in all it was a very pleasant space.

As I walked the corridor from the airport to the hotel I instantly knew it was a Renaissance bc of their signature scent. Not to mention how awesome the lights were as I walked by. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are so clean and comfortable. I actually left an item in my room and after emailing through the general Marriott site, the hotel contacted me back to confirm they found my item. I can't thank them enough! For an airport hotel, this Renaissance is top notch.

My stay at the Edmonton Airport Renaissance Hotel, was absolutely great. The staff from greeting to departure including great service at the Halo restaurant and the Lounge were very attentive and very friendly. The food at the restaurant was incredible (had the Braised Short Rib) and the 5:15 lounge event (I'll leave it as a surprise to others just like it was for me) was a pleasant little bonus. The atmosphere in the public areas were fun and upbeat with room to relax. The rooms were big clean and very comfortable. It is unfortunately slightly removed from Downtown however having arrived at the airport at midnight and the hotel entrance being before the luggage carousel was a big plus for me this trip.

Service was good. Room was clean and well later out. Overall enjoyed my stay there.

What a beautiful hotel and great staff! They're customer service was first class, they made efforts I noticed without being asked and it was sincerely appreciated. It is a newer hotel and done very well. The beds were absolutely amazing and I had a great sleep. Looks like it would be great for conferences and may have a bit of a nightlife on the weekends.

Beautiful place! Very clean upon check-in the front desk staff updates our room to a runway view so our son could watch the planes. We figures it would be loud but surprisingly we never heard a thing. The beds were amazing, decor was beautiful. Restaurant was pricy but good.

Great staff all around. Good food at the catered work event. Only downside was the hotel style/decor. Very odd. Weird dance music blasting in the bathrooms as well. Whole place felt like a strange club, but I guess thats probably what they were going for.

Went to the Halo restaurant. Had a large party of about 35 and staff were very friendly. With the large party, we did have some issues with service, but somewhat understandable. We also had our tickets for parking validated for free which was very nice. There were some issues with the parking validation such as the first time didn't work, but the second batch of parking validation worked fine. Again, the staff were super helpful, welcoming, and friendly!

Very clean and well kept. Swanky and the staff are very friendly. The service in Halo was not very good, slow to get my good. Ordered first and 5 people got served before me. No apologies. Other than that the rest of the hotel is great.

Nice clean rooms. Food isnt very good for the price. Food court quality fish tacos or burgers or fish and chips for $20. Front desk staff definitely have some corporate mandates for greeting people as they have done a great job my last 4 visits.

We had horrible experience with front desk staff and there coustmer service We are really frustrated as one of the front desk guy told us, we could park in the employee parking lot for free and If we want to park in hotel parking we would have to pay. As he told we parked in the employees parking. Next day we got ticket for $25. Shocking. When we went to ask front desk to clarify for charge, there was another person (female) she was rude and didn't help. We didn't ask for free parking. He offered and we parked. It is really upsetting. Never recommend to any one … Interior only is not enough to get repeat customer. Customer service has to be top of everything to get reputation.

Nickel and Dime for everything. Have stayed here 8+ times out of convenience and needed to put a small tote in the hotel fridge. Something the majority of hotels do around the area (for free). They wanted $25 to store it for less than 8 hrs. The check in employee Tara? said its hotel policy to charge. Well I'm on my 6th bag of ice from the machine. To bad 1 small incident is all that will be on my mind when asked where to stay in Edmonton. You know the saying 1 good thing = 4 people told. 1 bad thing = 30 people told. Think twice about your policy Renaissance Edmonton Airport! Will be staying at the Ramada from now on. The 5min shuttle inconvenience will save you tons of money.

This hotel charges $10/day for internet. It's absolutely incredible that this sort of policy exists in 2016. I've got free Wi-Fi at $4/night Vietnamese hostels. I don't care if other parts of the hotel are nice. It's kind of like going to a restaurant and being charged to use the bathroom — it doesn't matter what the food is like, because they've crossed a line. I will not be staying here again.

My daughter and I booked a room for Saturday night Dec 26th, actually she booked it on line from Toronto with her Visa Debit card, the card was accepted and our room was booked. We always use cash or debit wherever we go, however, had we been made aware of the fact that this card would not be accepted, we wold have made other arrangements of course. We arrived in Edmonton around midnight and had a nine hour layover until our flight to Toronto in the morning. Your manager, (I assume) said he would see what he could do, we knew exactly what he would do, he disappeared for about 3 minutes where we couldn't see him and came back and said, sorry, there is nothing I can do. I am 82 years old and recuperating from a broken hip, was already very tired and we had to sleep on hard chairs in the airport, of course we got no sleep at all. He explained to us about the computerised system they use and that is one thing but to accept a reservation in advance from another city, we went to Puerto Vallarta with no worries in mind about our return. Something must be done about this shabby, no care reservation system, the word is getting out and it isn't good, your hotel is not inexpensive, and perhaps he thought we were welfare type people with no credit cards because of the long trip we were not dressed up or all made up we just needed some sleep, never judge a book by it's cover!

Was there for a work Christmas party. Food was delicious. Decorations were beautiful. Staff were polite.

Stayed on evening of sept. 18/14. The staff were very friendly, room was clean, well appointed and quiet. The restaurant food was very good with great service. Will definitely stay again before next flight.

Staff was very helpful, if you have the marriott app on you phone or iPad, it is very helpful. We checked in on our app, and was handed a key at front desk. Room was prepaid so checking out was very easy, concierge then helped us bring our bags to our gate in the airport.

Stayed two nights with my wife and young son and we loved this hotel. The level of service was exceptional and staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Very modern, nice swimming pool with large hot tub, big fitness room, sauna, and if you are a Marriott Rewards Gold or Platinum member this property has a very nice club lounge as well where breakfast is free and evening food is served on weekdays. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the area!

Beautiful and modern hotel, though a touch odd at times. Very odd having a bathroom door that doesn't actually seal or lock, just kinda slides in-front of the opening 1 inch away from the wall so you can easily see past it on both sides. All in all a pleasant stay and would most definitely stay again if the need were to arise.

Awesome hotel experience. Check in was quick and gave us a wonderful room with an airport view that the kids loved. Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to try the pool. Checkout was just as efficient with very friendly staff. Our room was modern and very tastefully decorated. Overall an excellent experience.

Update to my review below: After putting a complaint through the Marriott Hotels, I was connected to Jordan Majeau in their customer care department. Jordan was awesome and couriered me a phone charger, no cost, no hassle. I have changed my rating to 5 stars because of Jordan's excellent customer service and professionalism. Esthetically pleasing hotel, comfortable stay, very modern. The entryway is very confusing, it's not clear where the check in desk is (second floor). My biggest disappointments were having to pay twice for parking, and then being told I would have to come back into the hotel for a reimbursement. I live 3 hours out of town, when I got home I realized I forgot my iPhone charger in the room. I know for a fact that it was plugged in beside the bed. I called the hotel and they said housekeeping had no record of it being left behind. How convenient.

Very nice rooms and hotel bar pool gym. The restaurant has tried to offer an upscale assortment of dishes but I misses probably beginning kinks but the chef/cooks are definitely not able to make the dishes so maybe stick with burgers.
