Comfortable clean rooms. I nice escape for a couple of days.

Comfortable, cozy, clean suites.

The room was so dirty! In the bathroom there was actually a flossing tooth pick right in the middle of the floor! Smelt like mil-do. The floor around the tub was wet! We checked out early and told them we opened the wardrobe and it literally fell apart… they told us that was fine no problem. No problem I guess means they charge us $300 for their broken wardrobe. I will never be returning and recommending you to never go there. It seems they make money on charging ppl after they leave.

Just stayed there won the weekend and fell down their stairs due to lack of salting and maintenance. Staff have told the owner that they salted and it snowed after that. I have pics to prove otherwise but the owner was insisting his staff salted… please be careful at this property. Someone could get seriously hurt. First two pics are of the stairs when I fell and then again 15 hours later… NO one ever did salt. And now no one wants to take responsibility.

Nice and clean. Too bad pool and hot tub closed.

Stay away! Was charged 150 dollars for a sheet that was ruined! Not to mention the rooms are filthy!

Super upset as we had to change rooms and the bed in the new room was definitely older and rock hard. Guy didn’t even try to fix the issue or give us a discount. Just upset with service.

There is nobody to tell noisy people to quiet down or stop the communal fire from burning past 1am or later. No night staff to get ahold of. Frequent noise until 1:55am. 4 rowdy teenagers/young adults who were lodge occupants were intoxicated, went out for a walk at 1:55am not knowing where or how to get there. The wall mounted showerhead is low; about 5'6", the bathroom door handle was loose, after about ten minutes the shower went from lukewarm to hot in an instant. The walls are in so you can hear the next occupant cough clearly. Hot bed with the foam topper they had one underneath. And, a bent up window screen frame on the front window. Not worth the cheap price at all.

It was alright. Older and aged look to it. Clean and tidy. Very nice service.

Do not waste your money!
If I had seen the rooms and property before hand, I would have never stayed. Unfortunatley I booked online and could not cancel my reservation.
The property is poorly maintained and very run down. Room was disgusting with hand prints all over the walls, black thick dust on baseboards, and the tub had a thick dark film on it. If this wasn’t enough to detour you, the beds are like sleeping on the floor and the pool is something to be desired.
Spend the extra money and get a good nights sleep.

Very kid friendly they even have a outdoor play ground! I think the beds are comfortable!

The lady who confirmed my reservation on the phone was beyond polite and friendly Check in went smoothly although the Asian guy at the counter wasn’t over welcoming, once arriving in our room it was very dated but that’s fine it’s just a place to sleep, the bathroom had dirty towels in it, we called down to inquire about a play pen no answer in the phone the first time. Once we go through he Asian guy informed us there is a play pen but we would have to come down and carry it up ourselves? Went down to get it Asian guy dropped it at the front office door and went out to party with his friends at the bon fire. Spent the night beds are super hard! Went out that morning and there was a huge mess left at the bonfire. We spent the day away from the room, when we returned no one had been in the room to make the bed or replenish the towels. Spent another night as our booking was for two nights, checking out the girl at the front desk was very polite.

Room was really decent for the price. Really liked the cabin feel. The stairs to the second level are kind of iffy — could have been interesting if we had been drinking. The bathroom needed some work — they should spend 5 minutes on some new caulking in the shower, and $50 to replace the gross broken faucet. Front desk staff were ok but not very friendly.

I would suggest getting a room without someone above you. So thin you can hear every footstep. And I think they had a pet elephant up there that kept tripping over the furniture.

We were quite pleased with the room for the price point and the proximity to Banff (20 mins) and gas/fast food. The room was cozy and the cabin vibe was something we enjoyed. There was a bit of a musty odour in the room when we checked in so we had to air it out with the fan. As other reviewers have indicated the place can definitely use a face lift but for what it's worth, it's a comfortable place to crash in if you plan to spend most of the day outside.

Having booked this hotel 4 months in advance and then reading the most recent (poor) reviews of the place, we were prepared for the worst. We assumed it would smell and not be clean — but we were SO SURPRISED! I think we were in a renovated room (room 125) — it was incredibly clean, smelled great, & was overall perfect! There was a brand new air conditioning unit that kept our room at the perfect temperature. The bathroom and kitchenette were both super clean as well! For the price I would 100% recommend it to any friend. It was so cozy and a lovely cabin. — July 30, 2018

If you want a nice room pay to get the suite. Great location, 20 minutes to Banff and an hour to Lake Louise. Not far from downtown either.

We spent 230$ a night for their "fancy" king room. All of their facilities where out of order including hottub and pool for our entire visit. The check in staff couldn't have been less hospital. They are closed at night so if you do have an issue there's no one to speak to. We had an item stolen out of our room and upon asking the front desk she denied even the remote possibility of it and dismissed my husband. Besides the neck pain pillows the room is fine and clean enough but take your valuables with you and hope you dont have any concerns cause reprieve will not be provided by this hotel. Stay next door at the Best Western for the extra 10$ and have some peace of mind. Never coming back.

This was our second time here, it is a clean hotel, great for one night. Downside is the hot tub was closed on our first day, it is closed every Monday apparently. But otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again for sure.

Not as bad as some of the reviews. Our expectations were tuned to the price and we weren't disappointed. If they would paint and clean the windows every now and then it would look a lot better though. There's a fireplace and BBQ you can use. Pool was clean. Add to that that we liked Canmore a lot better than Banff and we had a fine line low budget experience here.

A lovely place to stay! We just got here and love our room. So nice with a nice view of the mountains. And a huge jacuzzi tub in our room. We love it and will stay here again for sure.

The room wasn't clean and the property looked like a garbage dump, garbage everywhere around the fire pit (with no wood) and just a dump of stuff in front of my room, just ridiculous. Cabinet of the kitchenette were pretty much empty, the ceiling in the VERY small bathroom had yellow droplets. Walls were dirty, the windows were dirty, the door knob was falling apart etc etc. Just don't go there…

Acomidations were fine the owner was extremely rude and yelled at my wife. The way they treat there customers is very very sad. I wouldn't recommend this place to Simone I don't like let alone a friend. Nobody needs to be yelled at in the morning for a mistake they made. Never ever been treated so poorly by an owner in my life doubt they get much business if this is how they act.

After driving five hours from home we arrived at Rundle. Made plans/reservations one month prior. Upon our arrival we were informed that the jacuzzi suite we had reserved was no longer available… nor was any other similar suite due to construction. When asked why we weren't notified the response was, "We'll, someone tried to contact you. " We received zero emails/cell calls… ZERO. After sitting outside attempting to find a better place to stay, with no luck whatsoever, we gave in and accepted the room that was available. The signs that the staff of Rundle put up regarding to keep quiet after 11:00 p. M are complete B. S. Let friendly? Possibly. Didn't see one animal happy to stay there. Just drunks and individuals so high AF they could not talk nor walk straight. We'll be visiting Canmore annually but not Rundle ever again. Borderline nightmare.

Late checked in and staff was able to assist me after hours. Pleasant staff, cosy room equipped with shower, tub and a heater that can keep a room toasty for you. Some Reno needed to fix some small things such as the shower and tub tap switch, shower height in the main floor cabin (too low), no vent in washroom.

Friendly staff! Best parts of funky old ski motel while being clean. Also waking up to this view … the best.

I wanted a cabin feeling and that’s what I got. They even supplied dishes, cutlery and towels for the kitchen. The heater worked great. My granddaughter and I enjoyed our short stay.
We used the pool and hot tub. No complaints!
Reasonable priced for what we got.

The staff are nice and very accommodating. Even when we asked for more towels and blankets. There's also a pool and hot tub, that we haven't tried yet.

We just love this place, close enough to the touristic area, great views, very clean and cozy, kids can have fun outside… it is a great place to rest.

It is pet friendly. The staff is great. Rooms are clean. It has a 32 inch tv. Totally renovated great rustic looking cabin feel. For those who just want a place to go for those with pets this is the place.

Nice place for a one night stay before travelling through mountains. Hot tub was great! Only downside was no food or drinks in vending machines.

Great price for good accomodation. Views are magnificent. Hot tub was well kept. Would highly reccommend staying here if you need a budget friendly place. Local cat was slightly annoying :)

Boff! The hotel does not change the soft cover in the bed. There was a lot of hair. It is not well soundproof, you could hear everything that was said outside. There were drops of urine or beer on the walls and door of the bathroom… On the other hand, the spa was fine. The staff were friendly.

Room was dirty, dusty, carpets and jet tub were not cleaned. No place to hang shirts, jackets. No authority at front desk to discount. Bad anniversary night for the money we paid.

Very conveniently located, as it is along the main stretch of Canmore. The rooms were quaint, and served their purpose. There was a pool and outdoor hot tub. The bathroom was quite small, but it was a very cute place to stay. I like it.

The room was simple but clean, and compared to the other hotels, the price was right. It is located on the HWY and is only a 10 minute walk from downtown. Its nothining special, but a good place to rest.

Room was pretty good for the price compared to other hotels in Canmore. Room is a 3 but price makes it a good buy. New portable AC in both bedrooms. Pool was small but it was a pool and it was clean.

"This is good if you're just looking for a place to spend the night and sleep. But here's what I can share from our stay in the lodge, there is no microwave in the room we stayed in, (I guess this applies for their normal rooms), you can use the microwave in their office but they're only open from 8am to 11pm. The fridge in our room is too small, we could only fit a few water bottles. The water temp in the shower is not consistent, it needs to be adjusted often. Their indoor pool has too much chlorine. These things can be improved, other than that our stay here was good, we had a good rest, it's a peaceful and quiet place. Staff is friendly and accomodating.

Horrible dirty hotel. Couldn't get passed the dirty front lobby and pool. Tried to cancel the room as we have a new baby. They refused to refund our booking I made that morning. Ended in tears and calling the cops.

Excellent place. Quiet and close to BANFF and useful conveniences: grocery store, troubleshooter, etc. Indoor pool and small sauna. Dirty BBQ, but does the job with aluminum foil underneath. Small private kitchen in the room. I recommend it.

Good price. Was a good family choice for our overnight stay. Front desk clerk when we left needed a better "customer is not an inconvenience" attitude. Swimming pool. Playground. Insuite mini kitchen and air conditioner.

The pool is good, rooms are clean and modern, rates are very fair, and the kitchenette was a big draw. The bathroom tub is sunken in the middle so water sits and doesn't drain though, not majorly though, it's pretty minor and everything else has been great.

Amazing. Beautiful view outside your door. Rooms clean, quiet and upto date. Has pool and a hot tub under the mountatins. Also a communal fire pit (and wood) in the middle of the motel. Customer service was great as well!

So-so, bathroom is necessary to change the carpets, too, must change. The room is dark and cramped.

The place is dated but clean. It's one of the cheaper places to stay. Close to Tim Hortons which was nice and Craigs family restaurant.

Prompt service and knowledgeable front desk staff, room was tidy and comfortable. Close to main road to access the city.

We stayed in a cabin with 2 beds and a kitchen. The place was cozy and had all the things I would expect in a cabin. The TV service was a little problematic but quickly fixed. The staffs were friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay there.

Very nice quite clean compact reasonable place. Have not tried their open pool but looks decent. Friendly front. Definitely would be back here in summer. Banff is beautiful in winters.

Location was convenient. The room was fairly clean but had a strong odor. Hot tub was out of service for the time we were there, but we were not told upon check in. Overall was decent for the price.

What an awesome place to stay. My son and I stayed two nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back and recommend it to family and friends.

Very nice staff, room was very clean and with everything. Very cheaper price. Warning! there is no a/c in the room just heater. Except of that everything was great. The employees are very friendly, the room was clean and up to date. The price was well affordable. Warning! The room has no air conditioning, only heating. With the exception of that everything else was excellent.
