I have shifted my rating down a star. It is still decent, but on my third multi-day stay, had some real issues. First the toilet ran constantly, every time I tried to go say something, the woman at the desk was on the phone (she stayed on the phone to the point I think she was avoiding people) so I let the thing run. The biggest issue I had with her was her total incompetence when it came to the shuttle. She gave me totally bad information twice resulting in much frustration and taxi rides instead of the shuttle. They paid the taxi fee, but I would not trust anything she says. There is a black lady there and she is the only one with whom I would deal if the first one is there (the one I had issues with is of Indian or Pakistani descent I think with long hair and dark glasses I also saw no name tag and that may be by her design as others wear one. ) Rooms are fine, one thing I really appreciated was the 20 minutes of free long distance every day anywhere in Canada or US. Saved me about $20 a day on Verizon Roaming Charges. If you do not take a computer, there are a couple in the lounge, when they work they are okay at best, and the printer works as well. I have stayed there three times and the other two times, there were no problems, so I may be venting frustration here. I will definitely stay there again due to the convenient location.

Had to wait for my room for an hour in the lobby. Another guest was given an extra hour to check in front of me but when we asked in the morning was the receptionist barely extended it by 15 mins. My wife found hair on the supposedly “clean” hand towels so didn’t use their towels. There’s no room service and only one restaurant, feels more like a motel. Most hotels have fridge and microwaves in the room but this place doesn’t. It’s definitely not a 3 star hotel maybe 2 star. The common sitting area on the ground floor is nice and a microwave, vending machines and TVs.

Went to the spa called Le Soleil. They are always welcoming and genuinely happy to see you. Their service is top notch. I love how the tech (Jennifer) is very considerate both in her manner and how she handles your skin. Totally recommend coming here for the wide variety of services they offer. Also the products they use are top quality.

Was there on a voucher for a missed connection. My stay was less than 12 hours, but everything worked perfectly. Melissa at the front desk was amazing with my situation, which was greatly appreciated in my tired state. Check out was also seamless. I would definitely recommend the hotel as well as consider future stays here.

Hotel was close to the airport with a quick shuttle to and from the location. For the price I got an adequate room for an overnight layover. However the night staff was super friendly. My friend dropped his cell phone in the cab and they promptly helped him call the lost and found and retrieve the phone an hour later. The front desk staff went above and beyond their responsibilities and I would come back again thanks to them.

Great price compared to other airport hotels — lots of complimentary inclusions. Shuttle service was great for getting to my flight on time. Room was modern and clean.

We love this hotel and have stayed many times. It is easy to get to and very clean. We love the roof top hot tubs and its a big factor in us staying there. This trip one of the tubs was closed and the other was completely filled with people who were drinking. I had 3 teenage girls with me so we did not go into the hot tub. Beds are comfy. We love that they have a kurig to make your own coffee in room and a good selection of teas in the lobby. There is a little TV in the bathroom but it only played 3 channels. Service was friendly.

The ammenties in this hotel come at a fair price. Cozy rooms with a large bathroom and some nice perks and you can find them usually on sale or cheap for short notice when available. Close to the airport if need be or near the main arteries of traffic so you can get where you need to go quickly.

We were flying out super early and decided a hotel would cut out some morning driving time and help us get some extra sleep, but boy were we wrong! I booked online and in the special requests section I noted that we required a crib/play pen for our infant son. When we checked in and enquired if the crib was already in the room the staff member said there was no note of a request. My confirmation email CLEARLY showed my request. After waiting some time, and a few calls to front desk we were finally brought one crib that was broken. More phone calls, more waiting, and no replacement. AND NO SLEEP! We finally gave up since it was so late and we wanted to try and get a few hours rest. It was a horrible uncomfortable night with little sleep.

Awesome place to stay when you're flying out of Calgary. Shuttle to and from the airport. Beautiful clean rooms and great rates. Hot tub on the roof is an added bonus. Take it the sunset of the Calgary skyline while soaking in a hot tub. What could be better!

Close to the airport, ideal for the first or last night in Calgary. Not very large but quite cozy, well appointed rooms. Excellent breakfast with fat possibility to toast the bread on the fire. Free Airport shuttle. Important: In front of the arrival area at Bussteig 10 use the free phone to request the shuttle. If you're lucky, Ibrahim gets a driver. We repeatedly met him there and look forward to seeing you again.

Great choice if you have an early flight out of Calgary! Clean rooms, showers are spacious with good water flow and free shuttle to & from the airport! We were able to drop our rental car off a day early as the shuttle provided us timely service to the airport.

Stayed here for the night before my wedding with my maid of honor. Had the double queen room. Hotel was clean and pretty. Staff were very nice and helpful. The shower was nice and relaxing. Really enjoyed the night I spent here. Would definitely stay here again. Price for one night was also very reasonable.

This is an Ultra Modern, efficient, great place to stay overnight if you have a early morning flight to catch. The staff was really friendly very intelligent and helpful. It has an absolutely Gourmet wonderful Restaurant and Bar.

I only stayed here for like 4 hours because my flight was cancelled but the room was clean and the bathroom was lovely. I didn't get to try out the shower but it looked like it had a really nice rain shower head. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and the shuttle service back to the airport was helpful. Nothing bad to say about this place during my short stay.

Enjoyed the room was just there to sleep. It was a cold weekend and I received downstairs parking but when my daughter's car had a flat and I parked downstairs I was charge 10 for extra space. I left the car for her. We are talking minus 40 with wind chill but the man downstairs helped us to get the tire pumped up and made sure it was safe to drive on as it was extremely icy.

As airport hotels go this is a fantastic one. On our way to Banff we stayed here one night after an NHL game. Clean, bright and friendly. We were expecting less. The attracted resturaunt is nice too. We grabbed drinks before and after the game then walked right up to our room.

Located close to the airport the rooms are nice and there is a good Italian restaurant downstairs. I have stayed here several times and have always had a great stay. The rooms are clean and moderate with large TV's, coffee station, office desk, in room safe and full body shower sprayer. You will find that this hotel has a varying price range some days it will be around $100 and the next will be $200 for the same room. So make sure to price check before purchasing. There is no breakfast included in the stay, but there is a restaurant that is open in the morning if you want to grab something before you go. There is coffee and fresh cream in the lobby as well as tea. Overall good stay, wish I could have tested out the rooftop hot tub as it looked very inviting!

Value for money and good for overnight stays close to the airport. Clean rooms, shower tubs with hot jet sprays and basic toiletries are provided (+hairdryer). The hotel also has a rooftop jacuzzi (closed in winter), which was really nice to relax in summer. The hotel provides free shuttle to & from Calgary airport (need to contact hotel beforehand). There is also a restaurant called Pacini connected to the hotel.

Very clean and modern. Well designed rooms. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Long term parking available for a small fee. Airport shuttle operates every 40 minutes. Five minutes away from the airport.

The hotel was nice and conveniently near the airport as I needed a bed after a long flight. Service to rent dvds is a nice touch. Only one of the two hot tubs in the roof were working when I was there and was not very warm. Not sure of this feature on the roof as with planes roaring over head and an industrial view around the hotel didn't make for the most relaxing experience.

This place is well beyond my expectations! Booked a room for the night (so close to airport) & everything has been great. Room is welcoming, nice bed & very clean. I like the mini Keurig for morning coffee. Well done!

Very spacious rooms. Close by airport. Great sky deck view. Very good stay for the price of the hotel. Also accommodated late check-out. Would stay again.

Friendly staff. Clean room. And, a bonus above most other hotels, the pillows were normal size and not 2 feet thick. Had a good sleep and the fact they let you park and fly (and offer free airport shuttle) is a huge bonus.

Pretty good hotel, nothing too special but nice for a hotel by the airport. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The curtains don't close (just the shear curtains close) which is a problem if you want to go to sleep before sunset.

This was a very nice hotel with close proximity to the airport. Aircraft noise isn't very noticeable here and the hotel has very environmentally sensitive amenities. There is a TV in the bathroom (select rooms) and has a great fitness center and swimming pool. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious.

Stayed for one night when our flight got in late. The location is great, just a few minutes by shuttle from the airport. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again.

Very clean and modern. But. The rain drop shower was next to useless! An Ikea style wood framed bed was flimsy! However the TVs are crystal clear and feature various news and sport channels. The air con unit under the window reacted audibly to the wind blowing outside… it sounded like an insect was stuck in the vent! lol.

Acclaim hotel was very clean with amazing service. The Pacina restaurant had really great food and drinks for excellent price.

I have enjoyed my stay. But the website says there is a pool but was told it is just a hot tub. You may want to change the website amenities and take the pool icon off.

I was booked a room here by my workplace, and I was pretty disappointed. I was staying for over a week, and there wasn't a fridge in the room, so I was forced to eat out every meal. Also the weird lounge chair thing in the room was very uncomfortable, I ended up sitting on the bed at all times. Shower was nice, but a couple of the days there was no hot water, so the lukewarm showers were awful. A coworker booked a room a block away at the Best Western which ended up being cheaper, included a small kitchen area with fridge and microwave included in her room, and the hotel had complimentary breakfast. If my stay hadn't been booked by my company I would have switched hotels. The staff were very nice and friendly though, and the tiny gym was 24 hours (even though the guest info book said hours were from 6a-10p). Bed was comfortable, internet was good.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very good and the hot tubs were the perfect end to a long day.

Nice place with a good location close to the airport and they supply a shuttle. I had an 8 hour overnight layover in Calgary so I booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced and close to the airport. The shuttle runs at H:15 and H:45. I just called the hotel and they told me what stand the shuttle was at. 5 minute ride later I was at the hotel. And within 15min, checked in and settling into my room. The room was very nice, clean, spacious, flat screen TV, 2 bottles of water and a nicely sized bathroom. I only stayed the night and was out on the 5am shuttle back to the airport in the morning so I did not have a chance to check out any of the other amenities but I would definitely stay again if I needed to be close to the airport.

I am in love with this hotel. The rooftop jacuzzi is fabulous. Very quiet. Gorgeous rooms. Decent rates.

I've just stayed at this hotel last night from my experience it was good my only complaint is that Darren the FDS didn't send the shuttle to the terminal and I waited for 45 min, the restaurant attached is pricey.

Heard two bad things about the hotel — the restaurant and the fact that they don't exchange money. The restaurant is good, just overpriced. If you want a more fun experience, Woody's Taphouse is about 4 km away and very good (Avoid Ricky's All Day Grill). If you need to exchange money, the shuttle will take you to the airport and the exchange place is right inside the door where they drop you off, And they will be back in a half hour to get you. Rooms are fine, one thing I really appreciated was the 20 minutes of free long distance every day. Saved me about $20 a day on Verizon Roaming Charges. I did not take a computer, and it you need one do not rely on the ones in the lounge, when they work they are okay at best, but usually one is down and the other is slow. I stayed there 4 nights two weeks in a row, and the second week they remembered me and are very friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here for our second night visiting Calgary Comic Con 2015. This is the second time we've gotten this hotel through hotwire and it's a-ma-zing. We went for a king room (no suite). The bed is comfortable. The room is clean. The view is okay (the mountains are visible but there is a lot of view-pollution between here and there). This hotel consistently has the best customer service that we've encountered. Not only was the front desk accommodating to our request for a king (instead of two queens), check in and check out were fast and easy, and I was in my room in no time flat. We book through hotwire for the rate — but if we weren't, I would be staying here anyway. Be sure to check out the roof top jet tub.

We had a terrible experience with the Acclaim Hotel. Both rooms we booked smelled of cigarette smoke and the airport return shuttle was a joke. There was 2 full length hairs in the salad we ordered from the attached restaurant. The check-out took forever because the restaurant had made a mess of 2 out of 3 bills. On check-in we inquired about the shuttle to the airport Delta Hotel conference centre; we would be attending a 2 day meeting at the Delta. We were told we needed to book the shuttle to the airport; for a return shuttle we would need to call the hotel and the shuttle will arrive within 30 minutes at either quarter after the hour, or quarter to the hour. On the first day we made 27 phone calls over 35 minutes before someone at the hotel even answered the phone. In all, we waited 50 minutes from the time we first called until the shuttle arrived. On the second day the phone was answered on the first call, but they neglected to even send the shuttle. When we called at the quarter hour to inquire we were told that we weren't at the correct pickup location. Total nonsense considering we had been picked up the previous day. Then they told us we would have to wait another 30 minutes for the next shuttle. We insisted that no shuttle had been sent and so they relented. This is a miserable hotel.

Nice hotel and friendly service. Parking is a bit tight when it's busy but the convenience of getting to the airport is great.

We had the most terrible experience ever among all hotels we stayed. We were driving headed to Vancouver and decided to stop at Calgary for the night then leave early morning the next day. Believe or not we think this was the worst decision we'd ever made. There was a wedding party with DJ playing loud music down at the main floor, banquet room and we are right above it. We understand (we believe other guests understand too) its some people's big day, this may last till a bit late. Waited till after 10, its still going, we are fine. However, it was after 12 am and the music were still playing. We phoned the reception desk to ask how long this will take, was told another 20 minutes. Waited 45 minutes then phoned again. We were told the second time "Sorry, but it will be another 15-20 minutes". Finally, at 1:30 we were at the reception desk asking what were their suggestions because we need to hit the road early in the morning. The night shift manager provide us with another room at the other wing of the hotel, and said we can leave all our belongs at our old room. The next morning at check out, we were shocked once more because staff asked us to pay for 2 rooms since we occupied them both even after we explained what has happened to us over and over till the manager showed up. What kinda award was granted to the hotel? With this below par service? Sorry, you have lost us forever.

10 ********** stars out of 5! Don't listen to the Nay-Sayers! Experience it for yourself to make up your mind. I had an absolutely great time. Highlights: * Hotel shuttle picked me up from airport. Driver was very polite and prompt. Offered to help another passenger find where he was going later and shuttle him nearby. Speaks volumes when the driver is so customer-focused. * Staff were helpful and polite at check-in. * Comfortable Bed — I can't remember when I had such a peaceful rest. I was on the 4th Floor overlooking the industrial park. * Beats other hotels I have been in at a higher price (I travel a lot world-wide for business) — the double trees, hiltons, Marriotts, Hyatts and kimptons of this world have nothing on these guys. * Got a killer workout in the gym — If you are into working out, you will enjoy this nice compact gym. Early hours it was pretty empty * Free Wi-fi * Got a late checkout * Shuttle back to airport Come on. You can't go wrong here! Looks like this is my favorite Calgary Hotel! oh. Nice hotel and great rooms. The I site restaurant has good food too. The Wi-Fi speed is ok. The exercise room was pretty small for a hotel of this side.

Needed an hotel close to the airport I wasn't expecting what I got, they have HD tv, rain showers, keurig coffee machine and the internet speed was very good. They also have a wall to divide the rooms with 2 beds. This was a great place to stay for the price and we got a great service (did not ask for anything so didn't really tried it) Forgot to mention there is also 2 hot tubs on the roof.

This is one of my favorite place's to stay in Calgary. The rooms are really nice (especially the bathroom) and the staff are always really helpful. The attached restaurant is fantastic as well. Great price for a really nice hotel.
