The hotel is great but the parking area doesn’t match the star. Don’t trust the security guys out there when you about to leave, watch your own step is the best. If possible the accident happens by securities guide, it’ll cost your own money to pay the damage. The hotel charge you like king resident but accident happened, They make excuse of doing a sign infront of hotel!
So disappointed to experienced with the Hotel.

What a beautiful place to visit when in the capital. I love taking friends to Raffles and watching them soak in the atmosphere that makes me smile as I reflect on the history and those who have wandered through the corridors and sipped a cocktail in this elegant bar.

Wonderful old French colonial style building with lots of character. Staff very welcoming and attentive. We had a fantastic experience at the hotel using it as a base to explore Phnom Penh.

Not much to say. This is THE hotel in the city. Stunning. Magic. Simply the best. I live in PP and this is where we go to enjoy some rare and true luxury!

Beautiful rooms excellent service and several restaurants and bars. One of the best spa massage in town all in an old colonial building. Nice garden and two swimming pools. Big parking.

This place is probably one of the most elegant places in Phnom Penh — good for vacation holidays to Cambodia. It has two swimming pools and you can order your food while you are the swimming pool. Of course, you don't eat in the water, on the benches. It has a restaurant, and it has a buffet. The hotel rooms are kind of big, and there free computers to use in the hallways on floors.

Very friendly staff, go out of way to be helpful. Picturesque interiors full of history and character. Visit to capture the charm of old Cambodian cosmopolitan sophistication in its heyday. Pool courtyard is restful oasis in the city, tucked among trees and colonial architecture. Delectable restaurant food, both Cambodian and French cuisine deftly executed. Souffles are best I've eaten outside Europe, must try!

One of the finest hotels in the world. They take care of every detail. It is a 1929 hotel used as journalists refuge during the 1975 war and refurbished during 90's. The elephant room, that is the bar downstairs, has an atmosphere that move you to a colonial movie instantly. The food awesome, cocktails more and price ok. They have happy hour (50% off) from 4 to 9 pm every day.

Great hotel, classical decor and good service. Updated: Back again in late March, the romance of staying in such a hotel still remains but it's beginning to look old and dated. My room this time had flickering lights in the bathroom and the central air unit creates a constant and loud hum. Ceiling fan creaks. This would not be an issue it it was not for the new Rosewood hotel opened around the corner which is unashamedly high end and modern but (for now) the same rates as the Raffles during soft opening. Down graded from 5 to 3.5 stars.

The hotel is in colonial style and the decor keeps so well and you can stay there if you want something different. Elephant bar offers so many choices on the gin and cocktails there were great. Service was very good and hotel sent me a birthday cake with a birthday card on my birthday and we had dinner at the French restaurant and again the service was attentive. I recommend you can stay there if you want a different experience from the modern hotels you can easily find in Asia.

We came to enjoy the spa and the pool with our children. The reception of the spa is really thoughtful and professional, the care is of quality. The pool is very nice and the staff very friendly. The breakfast dishes are good. We did not see the time going by.

It was a pleasant stay but doesn't justify the cost. I'd stay in one of PPs better value middle of the range hotels next time.

A grand hotel very befitting of the Raffles brand. Slightly lacking in areas but overall experience is great especially the price points when you compare versus Raffles Singapore or Dubai. Book the spa early if you need a massage as limited. Breakfast choices are very limited for the value of USD28 per person. The Elephant Bar is good value 4pm till 9pm happy hour!

Amazing Hotel to stay in. Friendly staff and the environment is Superb. Jackie Kennedy Onassis stayed at this hotel when she visited Siem Reap, Cambodia. Nice feeling.

Lovely hotel with terrific pools and fantastic breakfast veranda. Rooms are nice too. Service was excellent. Have a drink in the elephant bar.

Luxury and refinement, lots of charm. (quite the opposite of the Sokha which is also on the other side of the Sap Tonle)

Not a good experience. We wanted to have a nice cocktail in the hotel Elephant Bar as we had been walking the streets of the French Quarter for a few hours and wanted to reward our efforts. Naturally the building is extremely pleasant and impeccably clean, tidy and polished… Drinks are ridiculously overpriced compared to other high end establishments in the city and we are used to high prices coming from London. I'm sure they use only the finest ingredients but it there is margin here which just seems unnecessary. My girlfriend and I went and sat at the bar and prior to ordering I used the restroom. On return my girlfriend had been completely ignored for the five minutes I had been away and only on my return was she given any attention. You may think this was because the staff were taking other orders but this wasn't the case. We walked out which I haven't done in a very long time, a little dramatic you may think but who needs to pay this kind of money to the same product.

Food rated a “B-“; service was “C-“. Used buffet plates were not removed from table, water was not refilled and when someone found to do so, water arrived in a hot glass. Most prepared salad dishes were permeated by large cilantro leaves, a strong rather than subtle flavor. An inquiry about soup ingredients went unanswered despite a promise to find out for us. Used silverware was not replaced, etc. Etc. Etc. All in all, it was a very disappointing dinner for what is supposed to be a highly related hotel.

I am not a guest of the hotel, but stronhly recommended by a travelling friend on a coach that I should at least visit its famous elephant bar with its happy hours from 4:00 — 9:00 pm offering half price drink and cocktail. (Watch for a happy hour logo at the left side of drink list). I deliberately choose a Monday evening to have a casual meal, a couple of drinks and a quite evening. True to the words by mouth: elegant interior decor, old time atmosphere, very friendly & professional bar staff speaking excellent English. My ordered meal "Phat Thai" — Thai style seafood stir-fried noodle incrediblely wrapped in fried egg is perfectly cooked and beautifully presented with very generous portion. Certainly a 10 out of 10 bar, at least to me.

They have an excellent brunch with unlimited Champagne, wine, craft beer and other drinks at weekends for US$78++. That works out at US$91.81. It runs from 12 noon to 2.30pm. All staff and management very friendly and helpful. As well as the buffet items, they will cook dishes to order right at your table.

The place is very nice. The room is big suitable for workshop and conference. However, the parking space for motorbike is quite small.

The hotel is a beautiful building in colonial style and once you enter the chic lobby, you'll be greeted by a perfect-trained smile from all staff there. However, being consider as the best hotel in town, especially the rooms are not up to an international luxury standard. Classic interior, but everything from the bathroom decor to the air condition system is from the last century! Pool area is very relaxing, but here as well are the standards loosely missed. Sun lounges aren't comfortable nor elegant. The spa area looks like from a cheap 4-star hotel and "disgusting" would be a polite description of the entire wet area (especially steam bath). The hotel is in desperate need for a full renovation!
Although, we loved the Elephant Bar — amazing cocktail, very attentive service and nice decor! The breakfast is also well done and with very attentive staff! Food quality is good, but not excellent!
If we would come back to Phnom Penh we would rather hope, that the Rosewood will be open by then and hopefully the opening of this new hotel will force the management to invest into a major renovation, to retain the status of this legendary hotel to its old glory!

I had a wonderful stay. Staff was super helpful. Accommodations were a bit dark but everything was squeaky clean and modernized. I would return in a heartbeat. Did not get a chance to try the cocktails at the Elephant Bar but the place was rocking on a Thursday night! Breakfast was over the top. Dim sum a bit soggy but tasty. Service was impeccable. The grounds are beautiful. Very large inside. You do not realize it from the street. Great hotel, great value.

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently and it was the most magical experience he had while traveling. It was nice to come back from an adventure and be greeted with cold cloths to cool our faces and fresh tasty drinks to re-hydrate. You can really tell that everyone who works at this hotel is trying to make it the best experience for all their guests. The local tuk tuk driver "Lucky" knew all the best spots to take us and made us feel safe in the city. I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful and grand hotel. Not a hotel guest. Visited Elephant Bar for afternoon tea. Afternoon tea set was not remarkable but ambient was good.

Always been my dream to stay in Raffles and the one in Siem Reap was great. Have got to Phnom Penh and have been totally underwhelmed. The service is not to the levels that it is renowned for in fact 3 star service is about this standard. Check in was poor and to be shrugged off by the bar staff is what I expect in HK. Hope the stay gets better! Diner hmmm where do I start. The chefs special, a seared scallop, not seared and not great, worth sending back. The steak tartare and the fois gras were exceptional, add some shaved cheese to tartare it is mind blowing. Main course. Well that was a disaster. First wrong steak then the correct steak was cooked from well done to rare in one steak! The sides were stuck under the heat lamp. I starved. The wine was good if not over chilled. So have now checked out and would not go back. The only recommendation is the Brunch and the Exec Chef the rest of it was very poor. The service did not get better they tried to over charge us this is a mediocre 3 star hotel there has to be better around for a better price. They just dont get it feel sorry for them.

Everything…! the heritage building, the staffs, the breakfast buffet, in-room dining service, the restaurant, the ambience. The most I like is the small terrace in front of my room. It's a good place for sitting & reading while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea…

I used to train here as a waiter, when I was visiting Cambodia. The staffs are amazing and the working environment is great. I was not really looking for pay, but they did pay me 1 dollar per day as a trainee. As a guest, I would like to say the food is great and the service is amazing, but I have not stayed here. Overall I am really happy with what Raffles has to offer.

Stay here regularly for work and it is always a treat. Very modern, comfortable room for a hotel with such character, breakfast is great, with many fresh options, the spa is top notch, and, my favorite, the legendary Elephant Bar (with happy hour from 4-9 pm)!

A luxurious hotel built in the French colony and continue its existence until today.

Old but gold. This hotel was built during French Protectorate Period. Good service and comfortable room.

We spent 2 nights there to have some cosiness at the end of our trip. The room is nice. Service is excellent. We had the dinner there which was really tasty. The brunch was extraordinary! I think it's just the best one I had for now!

Colonial nostalgia meets international hotel chain in a massive, impressively rehabbed property. A ways away from the action, but a great (if probably singular) experience. In a city of great boutique hotels in hip, leafy neighborhoods; I'd go a different route next time.

My parents stayed here about 3 months ago. Expensive but without a doubt a real treat.
