Everything was fantastic! The bar staff, the food, the free (! ) breakfast, the clean room, the clean private bathroom that every dorm has, all staff really! A must if you go to Phnom Penh!

I really enjoyed my time at 88 backpackers. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with lots of tours and services on offer. The pod room that I stayed in was great. It's the best bits of a private room within the budget of a dorm. Good bathroom to bed ratio as well. The bar and restaurant has an extensive menu with lots of vegetarian options and the poolside location is great on a hot day. The buffet breakfast is awesome, with heaps of options from bread and spreads to fresh omelettes fried rice or noodles. Love the book exchange, there are actually some decent books there. All in all had a great experience.

It has everything you need for one night. The bar and swimming pool was nice. -Breakfast starts way too late (7.30). We had to leave early, which meant we had to order breakfast at the bar and pay a different price.

V crowded. V noisy. And I smelt drugs. U have to pay a deposit at the reception. Check it beforehand. Location is also not the best. Nearby ATM's charge exhortation rates for withdrawl. The bathroom in the female dorm was reported, but no one fixed the shower and water was just trickling through. There is a vendor market nearby in the same vicinity and u see exotic fish and fruits, but not clean.

Good place to stay if you need a cheap room (make sure you book the Pod! ) Good pool table and outside pool with bsketball.

We enjoyed our trip Eighty8 Backpackers We had a little gamble on the roulette tables. We lost but we didn't gamble very much. We dined in a Chinese restaurant and really, really enjoyed our meals. There are lots of high end shops underground that was like a ghost town! We enjoyed our visit.

Friendly, helpful service. Staff can help organise transportation to local tourist sites. Beds are large. You will need to bring your own padlock for the lockers.

Perfect backpacker hostel! More than decent prices. You get your own private ‘room’ (it’s kind of like a small box). Food is good. Staff is helpful. Wifi is good. Breakfast is included. Great social area with nice pool table and nice pool. I wish I found this place earlier in Phnom Penh. Once again, can recommend big time.

Awesome hostel. Small pool but excellent to cool down in the heat.

One of the better hostels I've stayed at recently. Not too wild and get chilled during the day with just the right amount of liveliness in the evening. If you want a crazy hostel vibe try mad monkey. This place is low key social.

Good food. Pumpkin Rigatoni was fantastic. Nice pool and chill out bar/area. Plenty of seats and sofas. Games to play including pool table and pool volleyball. Room was very clean and they bathrooms in the private rooms now include frosted glass shutters (some reviews mention just curtains before) The tuk tuk ride share service here is really useful as well.

Excellent hostel A 10 minutes from the city centre, the staff is adorable and smiling, the dormitory is clean and fresh, the value for money is at the top with a varied breakfast buffet, a small swimming pool for volleyball games leading to the giggle; Hostel tres Warm that I recommend to all!

Cool hangout spot with pool. A little crowded during tourist season. Prices slightly above average.

A great place to stay. The rooms are large, clean and comfy beds. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and there's a POOL! I would highly recommend Eighty8 to everyone.

Very good place for backpackers, very nice atmosphere in the common room, great breakfast and very good food and drinks (at good prices). Unfortunately somewhat far from center, rooms comfortable but dark, pool area quite small.

Excellent option for stay. Nice clean rooms and washrooms, great breakfast which is included, the common area is very comfy with a bar, swimming pool and a pool table. Plus the location is convenient.

Really nice place. Great to meet backpackers. The diem is ac, and there are also private rooms and pods. Good price. Starts from 4$, great buffet breakfast included in the price and a nice swimming pool. Only problem is that it is like 25 minutes walk from the center and after 10pm everything is closed and it's hard to find food.

A little disappointed with the stay, the pictures are deceiving and the price was a bit much for what you get. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm, the room and bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. The first night the room was freezing, we told the staff in the we told them again and they sorted it and had a more comfortable night. The restaurant food was good and breakfast ok. It's about a 30 minute walk from the palace and other sites.

Brilliant hostel nice bar decent swimming pool. The foreign staff are amazing. If you have any issues avoid speaking to the local /Cambodian staff, they won't create a solution and are extremely rude. On the whole fantastic hostel would recommend.

Well priced and clean. Cocktails good! Was advised on bus routes at reception from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville — we took the local bus — advised 4-5hours travel time, took 7.5 hours to which we nearly missed connecting ferry. Advise not to use local bus services as unreliable and to use express bus services — you get what you pay for! Think the reception staff should be aware when providing travelling times to travellers as often relying on accurate info for connecting journeys.

Stayed here for 2 nights, loved it. Usually don't like dorm rooms but the pods added a nice sense of privacy. The pool area is a great place to hang out as well. Staff were also fantastic.

Great hostel. Bar and reception staff were extremely kind and helpful. The staff will help you figure out best deals for transport and tours. Pool area is great and there's a volleyball net! Good outdoor seating and seating under fans. Only recommendation is a bit more lighting in the outdoor area.

Amazing guest house! The rooms are clean and well ventilated, and the lobby is really cool : lots of cheap drinks, lots of cool people, and a pool to chill out One of the girls from the staff event took my friends and some people we met there into a local club, and we had one hell of a night!

Insanely cool hostels for backpackers. Good atmosphere, nice people, with restaurant, Bar & pool. Room/bathroom clean, ac running without problems. Always happy again!

Superb hostel for 7. US $ 75 / night in the dormitory.
Dorm very clean, large secure lockers, small lamp and taken for each bed.
Nice bar, free pool area very well-appointed…
Who could ask for more?

It's a cheap plave to stay near the central market. Food portions are small tho. Eat at Central market and you'll be full for 1US$

Awesome pool/bar area. Rooms are basic but clean. Food exceptional. Only thing missing is activities.

A very good backpacker for $ 7 a night in dorms. Air conditioning, fan, Wi — Fi everywhere, bar restaurant from 6: 00 to midnight, small pool, HH with the pint $ 1… Nothing is missing!

Probably the best hostel I have stayed so far, great amenities, value for money.
