U should hire an education people to provide customer service to the customer. Im not begging for sleeping im paying. U booked the wrong date for me and u used rude word to me. Whereis the ur customer service? Good bye Lavaya.

New clean place. Soft bed. weak aircon. Couldn't keep 25°

The bed, furniture and room layout were really comfortable. There are plenty of spaces to relex or get some work done. And the staff were friendly and very helpful.

This Hotel defrauded me of 500 USD by triple charging my credit card, pretending the payment did not get processed and then asked me to pay cash. Stay away. It's also not as good as the review makes it look. There are far better options available in Phnom Phen for a better price.

Hotel was so far OK. But leg check out big surprise.
My partner had made the varnishes bloody and we had to pay for separate cleaning (10. — $).
We found something strange.
Therefore no recommendation.

A lovely hotel, the staff was just lovely. The room was well decorated, comfortable bed, air conditioning. Breakfast was just perfect, I was actually glad it wasn't a buffet. The portions were very nice and just enough, the fruit with yogurt was a nice surprise. The only suggestion would be to offer lunch menu (for a cost). The restaurant is empty and would be great for guests to relax and enjoy. The front desk staff was eager to practice English, so if you have time talk to them from time to time. Location is perfect close enough to walk to the central markets and river. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Tuk Tuk always outside and only $3 to the Russian Market. Looking forward to visiting again in 2019

Loved it especially the service. Owners are well involved and inviting. The location is perfect to hit Olympic Market and Sorya. The little Cafes are endless and roof top food and pool are fantastic. Can't really beat the price for the location. Food, fun, tuktuk, taxi, and the staff are able to help consult trip plans and have great connections to get where you want in Phnom Penh. Thanks everyone. Me and Fiance appreciate the hospitality.

Very good balance between price and value. Central location. Nice disign. Very comfy bed. The reception desk and service on a very high level. Some things needs improvement — when the AC is working, water from the pipe in the bathroom floods the floor after filling the bowl and causes unpleasant smell. Careless construction of some elements spoils overall very good impression a little bit.

The pipes in the bathroom are leaking out on the floor so it smells a lot of urine and if you're not careful you risk stepping in it while entering the bathroom…
The room and hotel has a distinct odor of mold.
I woke up very early because all the noice from the kitchen (I think they were sorting/preparing glassware, forks, knives and plates for breakfast) … the noise went straight in to the room! Not a very pleasant way to wake up in the morning. Also, there was classic music playing from about 6 am making it even harder to sleep in the early morning hours
The only thing that makes it worth staying here is the location.

Lavanya is a nice, new, boutique hotel located close to Central Market and a 10-15 minute walk to the river waterfront. Beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable. Bathroom/Shower is great except for the drain. Very slow because of the drain design. Seems to be a Cambodia thing as I experience this at most hotels I've stayed in throughout Cambodia. Room has a safe, refrigerator and kettle for hot water. Breakfast was cook-to-order and was good, but portions were quite small with very limited choices on the menu. Breakfast is an area that could be improved. We stayed in an interior, twin room that felt confined. In the future, I would book a room with windows and a balcony with a street view (some of the rooms have a balcony with an beautiful alley view). The pool is quite small and really nothing more than a large bathtub. Even with children who enjoy swimming, we never used it once during our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. As a construction person, some of the small details in finishing the hotel were less than quality, but overall it's a good hotel.
