Staff at the cake and bakery section were very rude to me. Today, I went to have a cake order. I asked the staff if I could see the menu so that I could chose the flavor but one of the staff asked me to look at the display cake only cus even if the menu were to be given, I wouldn’t understand any in there. Is that how the 5 stars hotel trains their employee?

I am a big fan of the Physique Gym at the Cambodiana. Best bang for the buck if you need Air conditioning. Good, clean locker room, showers and Sauna. Adequate equipment. The pool is great, clear water and right on the river. Never crowded, in fact I have it all to myself often.

One of oldest hotels in town, with rare luxury of excellent location right next to the riverside. You can just walk over to the river. Outstanding views. If you like old colonial feek then this is the place to be. We often have a some of your client's events here.

The hotel is located in a very good location, from here you can walk to Museum, Royal Palace and many other attraction as well as entertainment… However, the service and hygiene is really a big concerns. You can see the fliers around your breakfast buffet which btw is very boring. Internet connection is also another minus. The most enjoyable place in the hotel is the pool bar where you can have a drink and enjoying mekong river view.

Good location, very close to the Grand Palace, if you live in the river room, you can see the river scenery, but because of a bit of history, the room is a little old, and the smell of smoke is very heavy, do not like, it is best to designate non-smoking room.

I am the gym member there. Love it. It's small and old but clean which I really appreciate. Nice staff and great riverfront view. Old building might need some restoration.

The one place I will probably miss the most great place to relax by the Mekong Delta they have a great swimming pool and workout facility used to go there every other day you won't be disappointed.

Yes, the hotel is old, the rooms could use an update and it's past its prime. However, Cambodiana's charm is not skin deep at all. It might be its brutalist mid century design that stick out like a sore thumb but provides a deep symbolism of the golden age of Cambodia in the 1960s. It might be its sweeping views of the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers unrivalled by any other hotels of its category. It might be its historical context, being a stage for the kingdom's rich layers of history and growth through the decades. Or can it be its people — warm without being too obtrusive, effective without being too pushy. Whatever it is, it still works.

This hotel is located on the edge of the river and is a very symbolic place of the city. I came here in 1993, en2014, and in 2018. Every time there is something magical going on in this place. But it must be recognized that the sanitary of the hotel should be restored to the taste of the day. The pool is very nice.

Love the river view, but building seems old. Food, love salad, bread and cake. Chef try to add something different everyday.

I use the gym and pool here. I have a 6 month membership which was 360 dollars (price goes up/down depending on length of time signed up for). It is one of the cheaper of the 'nice' gym options. It has a number of weights/cardio machines, free weights and if you are lucky you will be in front of one of the air con units! There are sauna and steam rooms in the changing rooms, although I can't comment on the quality of these, not having used them. There is a nice, if small, pool as well. It has views over the Mekong river and sun beds all around. If you go during the day, it is generally pretty quiet, and a number of times I have had the pool to myself for a few hours. At the weekends and during hotter weather it obviously gets busier, with a lot of people bringing their kids to play, so if you are there to put some laps in, be prepared for a little frustration at times there! Overall though, this has been worth the money for me.

The entire hotel is old and run down. It is really a 3 star hotel. A lot of things in the rooms dont work. The electricity sockets dont support international plugs. It is overpriced for what is offered. We were upgraded to a suite room when we tried to checkout and it was STILL a terrible experience. The free breakfast was the only the only good thing about the entire hotel.

Earlier I have stayed in this hotel. Rooms r good but bath rooms are not up to the mark. River side view is nice. B/F is good.

Nice clean pool. Great food and service. Room was clean and tidy. This is an old building and every effort is being made to keep the old charm and mordernise the experience.

Room, food for breakfast and lunch are just excellent. But the rest room for meeting room is just super poor, combined in one room with cubicles for men and women. It's just super awkward for both sides.

None of my company security concerns were addressed. My company will be looking for another hotel to use for my clientele as they were going to be in and out of that country for next 12 months hotel Cambodiana will be missing out now on all my international clients.

It used to be one of the best hotel but I feel now they don't seem to renovate it much so it's getting old.

I stay in exclusive suite, the front desk is not good english skill. When I didn't understand and ask for repeating accurate answer then they act frustrate at me. Not good experience with service. The security is disrespect try not to let me get in and doubt that I was a girl from street bcz I walk with foreigner friends, they should have better way to ask me nicely than make me being feel racist rant. CRAZY! the room is great location is also nice too!

Very nice hotel in a central position. Many restaurants and shops within a 2km walking distance, so there are many options when staying for a while.

The gym is rather rundown and many machines are out of order. Not what you expect for the price. However, the changing area is spacious.

Been using the gym / fitness center here. Staff are friendly and helpful but equipment need upgrading. Would be good if they can expand as well. Rates are competitive though.

I'm a member of the gym which is really fine, has AC, all the equipment you'd need for a good workout, a sauna and a nice pool outside where you can swim or relax. There might be more modern gyms in Phnom Penh but they are way more expensive too. Even though I only come in weekends It's never too crowded.

Stayed 3 days on business. Friendly staff, lovely lake view, yummy noodles. Although it's not a new hotel, but I still enjoyed this comfort stay indeed. I hope internet connection will be improved soon though.

It is very good for all visitors or guests to stay here, a comfortable place for celebrating parties nowadays. Please come to enjoy your stay!

In his time (a lot) was a modern hotel with excellent pool and gym but the time (too much) without reforming or keeping you have been given an old looking style 70 years outdated even so the treatment of the staff is second to none.

I have a great memories working at Hotel Cambodiana, the management always give good advice and point to the right direction. A lot of tough tasks to do, but with the Great support from other department and advice from my marketing manager I can archived a lot of works. Mr. Yama

Very historical place, fantastic service.

One of the best hotel in Phnom Penh.

Was good first time. Then they put a sleazy night club in downstairs. Have'nt been back since. We now go elsewhere now.

Will have our workshop in this hotel on November 8-11. It does not show up readily in Google maps. Will write review later.
