A great stop for backpacker. Nice stuff, clean rooms, good food included in the price of your bed. A glass of Bulgarian beer and new people to know! Located at 3 minutes from the citadel gate, with great restaurants around. Also, do not forget to pet the cats :-)

Laidback hostel near the fortress in Veliko Tarnovo. Room was spacious and comfortable with many windows. The included breakfast was a nice addition, as was the dinner. The hostel has a large patio with a partial outdoor kitchen, I imagine it is amazing in the summer.

Superb place, close to fortress, quiet neighborhood for peace at night. Randy is an incredible front desk person.

We were there in Mar 2018, the road around the old streets looks like war-zone due to road works (public utility), there were many closed street, so a bit tricky to get to this hostel by bus/taxi. And a bit of noise from road-works. Very friendly reception and cozy common space. Kitchen and pantry located on a different floor, so loud noises right outside the rooms. Some rooms are very big, pros: can play table-tennis and ballroom dancing inside, cons: takes forever (or never) to warmed-up when it is cold outside. The hostel comes with free pet-cat. Be warned, she likes to sneak into the room or kitchen quietly.

This hostel is amazing! It's is very clean and bathrooms/toilets must be newly renovated. Great atmosphere and breakfast was amazing. There's a cat hanging out around the hostel and it's the sweetest creature on earth :)

Excellent value for money, maybe not the cheapest hostel around but with the free breakfast and dinner included it is unbeatable. Rooms are nice and cosy, could do with some AC for the summer but it was still cool enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Beds were comfortable, people were friendly and the whole place had a great vibe. Bonus: 4 kittens to play with!

I loved this hostel so much I stayed much longer than I intended to! Staff are really nice, the atmosphere is so chill. Very clean, great terraces.

We arrived from wales late evening and we were told we could have food & wow it was wonderful. We stayed for 4 nights it was the friendliest hostel we have stayed in and the staff were so helpful we have booked to go back again in 3 weeks and thankyou Diana for the great food.

Bulgaria is not very good on hostels, and this is probably the exception to that rule. Beautiful old house, good facilities. The rooms are spacious and the staff super friendly. Great location as well.

Good hostel, good people, good beds, good showers with a chill vibe about the place. Close to everything apart from the train station but its a cheap taxi there. Plus free dinner and breakky. What more do you want.

This is certainly the best hostel in Bulgaria. The service is excellent and the location is very convenient. The place is very well organized and offers everything to make your stay and trip adventure pleasant. The interior is cozy and innovative. There is a nice terrace and green yard with secure access. The pricing is low for the offering. Highly recommended.

Really nice hostel with a good position (near the castle, near the old city, practically on the river banks). The staff was really polite and helpful (they also arranged a celiac free meal for me). Rooms are nice, clean and the prices really cheap.
