The hotel is close to the fortress & 10 minutes' walk to the town centre. Room is well equipped, the bed is comfortable & quiet (apart from the air-con noise from the neighbouring room as we didn't turn on any). At the moment, the town is under road renovation so the access to the hotel is difficult as you cannot drive to the front door & no access to the hotel parking. However, the staff is extremely helpful, especially Ivo & Milen. There is a free parking lot just 100m away. We parked there for 2 nights without problem. Ivo even came to the parking lot to help us bring our luggages! The only negative thing is the breakfast could be improved & we are certain with the professionalism of both Ivo & Milen, the hotel will get better. If you visit Veliko Tarnovo, you should stay in Silvestar Family Hotel.
Good: nice place, friendly staff, garage, clean space. Bad: very minimal breakfast.
