Everything would have been perfect, if not because when I checked out m they charged all the mini bottles of water that the waitress left daily, I have been in a thousand hotels and those waters are always free, and if not the minimum case you are appreciated to be notified and more if their price is as abusive and excessive as 10 Reais!
Except for that abuse, everything else is relatively fine.

Good beds, good service and good breakfast. Some water leakage in our bathroom though.

Um Hotel muito bem localizado no centro do Rio de Janeiro, atendimento excelente, funcionários muito bem educados e preparados para nos atender da melhor maneira possível. O seu ambiente é muito limpo e arejado com uma decoração que nos faz sentir aconchegados.

The most surprising place ever. If you wish to return to what was probably the most innovative and luxurious hotel in the sixties, it is worth a visit. But consider it that way.

It is a good hotel, the coffee is varied (fruits, cheese, breads, cakes, cereals, biscuits, etc), the attendance is not bad and it is well located, close to the bus stop and close to the Santos Dumont Airport. You can take a cab in front of the hotel if you wnat too.

Location is a must peace in Rio down town. Very good clean room and no smoke. Most of the employees speak English.

A bit outdated but just as welcoming. It has a kind of pool but very small.

A very well kept hotel, buffet great but I would vary more the courses! (Too Frango you cook… : ') )

La ubicación és muy buena por que El Hotel es cerca de la mayoria de Los principales puntos turisticos del Rio de Janeiro. Las habitaciones del Hotel no son nuevas y no hay mucho lujo o modernidad disponibles como en otros hoteles mas nuevos. El servicio és bueno y con desayuno (que és muy harto) incluido en la tarifa.

Nice rooms with amenities. Expensive mini bar. Good variety, tasty breakfast.

The hotel is really nice, the room is comfortable, very clean, cozy… The staff is really good, they made me feel really welcome!

Good attention, but they need to vary the menu. I stayed for a week and every day was the same breakfast.

Very modern hotel in the historical center. You can visit many things by foot from here and metro Uruguayana is nearby. They have a pool on the terrace with view on Candelaria church and the ocean, and a small gym next to it. Breakfast is quite good with a large choice but they should make it later than 10 am on Sundays and the four days of carnival. Bedrooms are large, showers too. I asked several days in a row for a good pillow but nobody tried to bring any new one.

Good hotel. The room that we touched was spacious. Nice bathroom and good attention. The dinner was buffet which was very good. I was alone one night.

Very good attention. Careful when they ask for a taxi with them. Concierges, was staying with my voucher, as I had two and wanted to travel together, was keeping one…

I love the hotel so clean and their breakfast; Food and dinner so rich. And the good care of their workers is of the best.

Excellent location. You can mobilize Metro. Railway. Buses. Serbian OK I impeccable.

Perfectly located in the business district of downtown Rio. I was there for a seminar so my whole experience was limited to the restaurant, bar and coffee break. The personnel is focused in customers services. All the employees I talked to are bilingual so if you have to stay a night in Rio and it's work related, you should really consider Windsor Guanabara, not only for pricing but for the service and atmosphere, as well.

A quiet hotel in the centre of Rio. Food is a buffet. Tasty, but without delight. The rooms are small. Nearby subways and bus routes.

Nice and kind recepcionists, good accomodation. The location is not the best, high traffic and dangerous area.

Very clean hotel with helpful staff. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, all of which were delicious buffets. They had a wide range of different foods, all of which were prepared in a Brazilian style. The wide array of deserts were incredible and took me awhile to get through all of them.

Clean and comfortable if you stay in the center of Rio.

I was in a meeting, which was held in the conference room at the fifth floor. Very nice place. Soon after the meeting we enjoyed a nice dinner. I loved the place!

Nice restaurant, gym, pool, bar, reception and rooms. This is the nearest hotel of Praça XV and Praça Mauá.

The conference seeing was nice. The temperature in the room was perfect. The audio and sounds were excellent. The coffee break snacks were just the right amount. The only complaint I have is that there was no water available during the talks only during break.

Estive no hotel para um evento. As salas tem ótima estrutura e funcionários solícitos. Problema são as coisas cobradas a parte, como projetor, som e internet.

The location is OK, near the subway and much cheaper than the others in the coast line. Service and breakfast are excellent but dinner is expensive. One of the best choice for work trip in the area.

Only have been in Congress center of the hotel. Rooms are relatively smalls and not equipped with the last technology. Internet access were really of bad quality. However, hotel is localized in downtown center what's could be an advantage for some that are working there.

Nice spend more than one week…

One of the advantages of the location of the hotel is the great view of the Guanabara Bay. The sunrises there are simply amazing. However, the visibility depends on the floor. We had room 20 (actually 22, since the lobby and the restaurant are not included) floor. Corner room on Avenue President Vargas Avenue and Rio Branco — the Church of the Candelaria and Manhattan tower. The room is clean. Breakfast is decent. Dinner and lunch at the hotel did not try. Wi-Fi was good. Electrical outlets done, in my opinion, under all the plugs of the world. The adapter I did not need. Lived in a hotel for three days. The hotel is like. Room to take better and higher corner, because the corner is not big houses. There the Church of the Candelaria and good views of the Bay.

Excellent hotel and great prices at Carnival time.

Spent 3 days there just last week (4/18-21). Immaculate room, good service. Had a great view and splendid meals. With no language skills, I could have used more help with communication in the restaurant and at the front desk. Still, would definitely recommend and return.

Perfect place to stay when working at Rio City Centre. You are just in, perfect for working week days, a bit boring for weekends because all town is closed. But near boats to Niteroi (in 30 minutes you are there). Bad ellection for holidays in Copacabana (the Metro is just 5 minutes walking and it takes about 20 minutes to arrive).

The hotel in general is very good, breakfast is buffet and dinner buffet is not very expensive. The cost is good in relation to what is normally paid in Rio, but the problem is the location, does not give much security to go out at night.

Rooms Sparce but adequate, some wallpaper and paint peeling, old TV, Breakfast Buffet ok, but eggshells in Scrambled Eggs. No Wi-Fi in rooms, have to pay for RJ45 connection. Best thing is the roof top pool and fitness center, small but good. Most dangerous thing was the churros vendor outside. For 2 reais you get a heavenly good sample of a Brazallian style donut. Beats any Tim H, or Dunkin.

Internet acces is very expencive.
